"I don't love anyone. There is no point in telling me about love. It's useless. Might as well just let me know what you want out of me. I'm assuming your are going to make my life a living hell no matter what. For starters I'm didn't sleep around." Heathcliffe smirked as he listened to her speak, planning the next words that he would say very carefully in his mind. "Either way your wife won't like how you are looking at me." He merely tilted his head to the side and listened to her go on and on, he did actually wonder when she was going to shut up. "So go ahead tell me what it is that I need to do. Send me on a wild goose chase. Just keep in mind that you may be the king but I'm Maggie Evans and I'm not going to put up with your ways. I don't care if you kill me."
"Well, Maggie Evans, if you don't love anyone then you won't mind me letting my little witch friend tear poor little Luke apart." He smirked as he took an old cell phone out of his pocket and began to dial a number, "you see, I have no interest in you or your body. Just the way you kill. I like that and that is why I have decided to spare your life. But, seeing as though you are loveless and being arrogant, I can't allow the same to be done for your maker." Heathcliffe put the phone to his ear and female voice answered with "yes?" A smile crossed Heathcliffe's face, his eyes fixed on Maggie, as he calmly said "do it."

Maggie's eyes widen. She watched in horror as Heath spoke on the phone knowing full well what he was implying. She didn't have to think twice before she found herself grabbing the phone from him and screaming into the receiver. "Don't you dare touch him!!" Her eyes flicked up to Heath before she gave the phone back. She wanted to rip him to pieces but she was bound by law to respect her king. She knew she was pushing her luck already but she figured if she wanted to stay alive much less have luke alive she needed to swallow her pride. "I won't have you kill him. Either you call that off or you don't have my service. I'm handing over my freedom so you might as well just take this offer. You know as well as I do that I'm prefect for the job."
Maggie gave a soft apology hoping it would allow her to avoid too much harm. Her eyes lowered as she waited for her punishment. There was no way she was going to slip past him again. She hoped she hadn't doomed Luke. She wanted him alive....the reason she wanted to believe was because he was her creator. Love just didn't seem like an option to her.

Heathcliffe's eyes never left Maggie's as he held the phone to his ear. Suddenly the phone was yanked from his hand and he raised an eyebrow as Maggie screamed into it, "don't you dare touch him!!" He rolled his eyes as she gave him the phone back before a smirk crossed his lips. His eyes were fixed on her as she spoke again. "I won't have you kill him. Either you call that off or you don't have my service. I'm handing over my freedom so you might as well just take this offer. You know as well as I do that I'm perfect for the job." This meeting was certainly getting interesting, that was for sure.
Heathcliffe winked as he put the phone back to his ear, a chuckle escaping his mouth. "As I was saying... Do it. Inform the other monarchs that Johnson's progeny is mine." He ended the call before putting the phone back in his pocket, his eyes still fixed on Maggie as they got a little colder, "you dare defy me again and i'll make sure you scream until you die. Do I make myself clear?!" Heathcliffe knew that deep down Maggie cared about her maker and he intended to use that, and the fact she just gave him her servitude, to his advantage. "How much do you know about the packs of wolves in this town?"

"As I was saying... Do it. Inform the other monarchs that Johnson's progeny is mine."Maggie watched him as he ended the call. A feeling of hopeless was all she could manage as she stared back into his cold eyes. "you dare defy me again and i'll make sure you scream until you die. Do I make myself clear?!" Maggie gave a nod as she lowered her head. She needed to start behaving if she wanted to stay alive much longer. "How much do you know about the packs of wolves in this town?" Maggie didn't bother to answer the question. Her mind was still with Luke. "What are you going to do to him? Please don't hurt him." she pleaded as she felt a few tears welling up in her eyes. She hated this...it was her fault that he was probably going to end up dead.
"As for the wolfs I have only met one. I wasn't aware there was anything like a pack forming...although that would explain why this town stinks so much." Maggie finally said figuring that maybe it was best to answer his question. A pack was horrible news. She knew that would mean more problems for the vampires and it was apparent that it was already big news because the king was interested in them.

"What are you going to do to him? Please don't hurt him." That was a very good question, what was he going to do with his former best friend? All Heathcliffe knew was that someone had to be punished and if it wasn't going to be Maggie then it had to be Luke. Someone was going to suffer on this night. Perhaps Luke would be taken to near death and then just left there, or maybe Heathcliffe could contact Samara and tell her to tie Luke to a streetlight and let the sun burn him a bit. Of course he'd have to be buried pretty soon after the sun started burning him, Heathcliffe didn't want the vampire to die, even if it would make his job a lot easier.
"As for the wolfs I have only met one. I wasn't aware there was anything like a pack forming...although that would explain why this town stinks so much." Heathcliffe nodded as he began to pace and tap his hands against his legs, it was what he tended to do when he was thinking. His eyebrows furrowed slightly as he paused and looked at Maggie again, "you've encountered one, you say?" With his eyes narrowing slightly Heathcliffe resumed his pacing, talking as he did so, "perhaps rogue weres are in town as well. That makes this that tiny bit worse. A pack has a leader that they must obey, a rogue can do anything." Stopping again he let his eyes fix on Maggie, his mind still going through a lot of thoughts, "if the wolves are bonding together then it means our kind has a threat in town. It also means that they are getting prepared for something." He turned his entire body to face Maggie again, "now what would wolves want to get prepared for?"

Maggie gave a shurg she didn't know what he was getting at. She had heard nothing about packs...Morrison certainly didn't look like he belonged to one. But then again the silver handle of his knife made her think that he was at least prepared to deal with vampires.
"I don't know, their getting ready for a big tea party? I'm not sure how you expect me to dive into the minds of those mutts. It's not like they are standing outside of Ambrosia and protesting with the bible thumpers. As far as I am considered they aren't preparing for anything. They are small brained creatures. They don't have plans." Maggie said with a bit of confidence. It seemed to her that the vampires out numbered the dogs by many to begin with. So far she had only encountered one were the whole time she had been living there. Grant it it hadn't been that long but at least it wasn't like they were infecting the town.

Heathcliffe knew that they were up to something. They had to be. This wasn't normal, not for this town.
He stopped and looked at Maggie once more, "we have your first mission. Find out if packs are forming and do your best to find out why they are suddenly in town. I do not like this at all, not one bit." He stepped closer to her and put his hands on her shoulders, staring deep into her eyes, "I trust that you won't fail me. The punishment for disobeying my orders is death. I can assure you that it won't be quick either." He smiled before running the back of his hand down her cheek, "you're lucky that i'm sparing you now."

She didn't like the way he looked at her and how he touched her, it was all very unsettling. Maggie lifted her chin slightly as her eyes met his, she was scared but she didn't want to show it. "I won't let you down. I can assure you failure is not an option."
There a silence as she pressed her lips together, waiting for the right moment when she would feel brave enough speak. She had to know who she belonged to now. "What is going to happened to Luke?" her voice shook slightly as she lowered her eyes not wanting to think of his death. She felt sick already knowing that she probably made things worse for her creator. "And what does that mean for me..." her throat felt like it was closing up by this point. Maggie was aware she would be working for the king now...but she wasn't sure what it all really meant. Surely there was more behind this then just sparing her life.

He continued to stare into her eyes as she lifted her chin and tried to act brave. Heathcliffe knew she was scared, after all the years he had been alive he had got to know all about how people acted in different situations. He could tell that Maggie was trying to be brave. "I won't let you down. I can assure you failure is not an option." Letting his hands fall to his side Heathcliffe nodded and stepped back a little as he watched Maggie's reaction to everything. This certainly wasn't going to be the end of this meeting, after all that had happened she was bound to have questions. Heathcliffe was waiting for them.
"What is going to happened to Luke?" There was the first question but it certainly wasn't going to be the last. Heathcliffe chuckled as the blonde vampire lookd down, a smirk on his own face. "And what does that mean for me?" And there was the second question. His eyes closed as he decided that this would be the best time to answer them in the best way he could. "Luke will be tortured and then spared. He seems to be on the edge of glory and one little push.." He gently pushed Maggie's shoulder, "one little push and he goes crazier than you've ever seen." Another little chuckle escaped his lips as he walked around Maggie, examining her body as he did so, "as for you... You belong to me now. You are mine and therefore my word is final. Let's say that I have stolen you from Luke and you only obey me and the queen now. Not that you had a choice."

Her eyes gazed off into the distance a stone cold expression never once leaving her face. Heath walked around examining her like a prized horse. She was an object now, a weapon. She tried hard to not think of Luke. It was only going to break her heart more if she did. Not only had he lost her because of her rejection of his love, but he had lost her as a creation. Maggie wanted to protest the whole situation but she knew it wouldn't get her anywhere. There was nothing that she could say or do now that would get her out of the hole she had dug herself. "I belong to you..." she repeated slowly. Each word felt like a stake being driven further and further into her heart. She didn't want this. "What's going to happen to me now?...What am I going to be expected to do...what are you wanting of me?"
There had to be some kind of order in he middle of this chaos. Expectations were certainly going to be laid out for her. Maggie knew that her life wasn't going to be the same and she just wanted to hear what was going to happen to her now that she was his property. It was one thing following a maker...it was another thing following a vampire king and being assigned to be an assassin. Maggie looked at him waiting for some words of comfort even though she was sure she wasn't going to be receiving them.

"I belong to you..." He smirked as he continued to examine her, finally stopping after he had walked around her three times. Heathcliffe looked into her eyes again and smiled, listening to her speak some more, "What's going to happen to me now?...What am I going to be expected to do...what are you wanting of me?" A low hum began in the back of Heathcliffe's throat as he began to, once again, play with Maggie's blonde hair. "Don't worry, I wouldn't do anything sexual with you. I am loyal to my wife." He chuckled slightly as he pulled a hair out of her head and examined it closely, "I will play mind games though, because they are fun." Dropping the hair to the floor he put his hands on her shoulders again, this time digging his fingers in as he gripped her shoulders in a very tight hold.
"Now, to answer your questions. You belong to me, you will live here for a while and then sometime you will be moved into the mansion. You will do everything and anything that me and the queen say, without fail or backchat, and you will respect us." Heathcliffe let go of her shoulders and smirked, "you will be one of the assassins, meaning that if we tell you to kill someone then you do. You will be our eyes and ears at night and report any thing of interest to us. Am I being clear enough for you?"

She didn't even want to know what the queen was going to think of her...she had heard that she was just as ruthless as heath.
The uneasiness that Maggie was feeling was getting worse, she wanted heath to leave. "Well you probably should get going. I know you have other business to attend to and I don't want to keep you from that." She bushed past him gently as she made her way to the cough, starting to straighten up pillows and magazines that were now scattered all over the place. She thought her actions would be a nice way of letting the king know she wanted him to leave. She could only hope that her suggestion would not be taken in offense. She didn't want him messing any longer with her. She was already starting to feel shitty about herself. The last thing she needed was to feel like even more of a piece of property. She wanted her last bits of freedom before she fully belonged to him.

Heathcliffe watched as Maggie nodded, his eyes still fixed on her, examining her features as he wondered what to do next. The plan of killing her hadn't exactly gone to plan, it had been changed to something better. "It is understood." Once again Heathcliffe chuckled as he put his hands into his pockets, his eyes getting a little colder as his thirst for blood grew. "Well you probably should get going. I know you have other business to attend to and I don't want to keep you from that." Standing still as she brushed past him, Heathcliffe allowed his anger to come back just a little, his eyes getting even colder as he turned to watch her tidy up the apartment. No one told the king to leave; he only left when he wanted to.
"You do not tell me to leave!" He smashed his fist through the glass of the window before turning back to stare at her, his eyes pitch black, "I leave when I want to leave! You do not tell me I have other things to do and you certainly do not start cleaning up as a way of showing you want me to leave!" Heathcliffe stepped towards her and gripped her throat with his bloody hand, the one he had put through the window, making sure to apply pressure. "Now, I am hungry and it's almost daylight. So me and you are going to go on a little hunt." Leaning in to whisper in her ear Heathcliffe gripped her throat a little bit tighter, "and if you dare try to suggest I do anything ever again then you'll be hanging from a streetlight by a chain of silver."

Her eyes widened as she found herself gasping. His cold bloody hangs tightly dug into her neck. She looked at him unable to even give so much as a reply to his demands. She was sorry now, sorry she had been so stupid to think that their meeting was over. "Where do you want to hunt sir?" she gasped as her fangs extended. Her body now recognizing the threat. She tried hard to pull them in but she couldn't because she was too scared. Heath scared her more then anything else. She wondered how Corbin even managed to deal with a man like him. If there was any bit of kindness and love he clearly only showed it to his wife.
"I'm sorry..." her eyes closed as she tried to get a hold of her thoughts. She didn't want to be there anymore. She wanted to be far away from this man. She didn't doubt that he would have her hanging from a streetlight, bound by silver chains if she talked back to him again. The anger in his voice was clear. Maggie was uncertain as to how long her job with him would last. Surely there would be a point in time that he would just get sick of her and dispose of her in whatever way he saw fit. "May I offer anything thing to you before we leave? I want to do all I can for you." Maggie just wanted this night to be over.

Heathcliffe looked at her as she looked at him, his eyes cold and only showing pure hate and aggression, "Where do you want to hunt sir?" He saw her fangs extend and knew it was because of how scared she would be getting, he knew how being a vampire was, it wasn't exactly easy to keep your fangs in when emotions were high. There was no reason for him to punish her for this, it was natural instincts for all vampires. "I'm sorry..." Her eyes closed and Heathcliffe just stared at her, his hand still gripping her throat. It was healing now, the cuts that were made by the glass were closing up, the blood on the surface drying as they did so, some of it on Maggie's neck around where he was gripping her.
"May I offer anything thing to you before we leave? I want to do all I can for you." Heathcliffe growled in his throat, his own fangs extending as he let her go and pushed her away. "I do not require anything other than you shutting up and getting ready for our hunt." His eyes glared at her, still pitch black and showing nothing but hate, there was nothing left in him at this point. No love, no compassion, no chance of him caring about anything. Right now Heathcliffe Halloway was just a vengeful vampire that wanted to kill. "We do what I want."
