JUST STAND THROUGH THE PAIN AND YOU WON"T DROWN. Alone in this fight with herself and her fears whispering if she stands she'll fall down.
Arrow bit her lip and looked from Vis to Morrison, once she saw him looking Vis right in the eye, her own eyes widened "Morrison! Drop your eyes for gods sake! and don't move." she told him, fearing Vis would attack any second now. Why was he going after Morrison! Didn't he understand what she had said, that he wasn't hurting her, that she was safe? "Visceral, he's not a threat. Its okay He was trying to help me. Please don't hurt him." she pleaded, still confused as to why Vis wasn't backing down.
Vis was close enough to Morrison that if he struck she wouldn't be able to stop him unless she was closer. Arrow didn't want to put him more on edge, but she also wasn't just going to sit there and wait to see if he would calm down. She moved closer to the two of them and ran her fingers through the fur on his neck in a gentle attempt to calm him. "Vis, Morrison is a friend. Its alright, can you please get off him?" she asked, not aware that her words might only be making things worse.
The adrenaline pumping through her body at the sudden appearance of Vis and his aggression towards Morrison was warming her body and making her breathe a bit faster, putting more oxygen into her blood, and helping her think straighter. It was only after she registered the scents in the air that she finally understood why Vis was so upset. She sat up straighter and looked at the two of them. "We aren't together Vis! Its not what you think." she said quickly, hoping she was right in guessing why he was about to attack Morrison.

Fuck, why hadn’t he moved? Morrison should have tried to hide behind the counter so that he wasn’t in the terrible situation he found himself in now. Hiding might have gotten his kitchen ruined, but he wouldn’t be sitting there rather defenselessly with a row of large and very sharp teeth a few inches from his throat. It was made worse when the wolf lifted its paw and pressed it heavily against his chest, pushing him down to the floor. It must have been decades since he’d ever been forced down into such a submissive position, but he didn’t resist it, knowing that this was probably the only way his life was going to be spared.
Arrow was yelling then, but didn’t really register her voice, too concentrated on the snarling breaths of the wolf standing over him and the yelling of people on the floor above and below them. This had to end soon, the cops would show up in a short while and he would not want to see the aftermath of that. With a slight bit of effort, Morrison turned his eyes to the side, staring anxiously at the wall across from him that was now rather cracked and scratched up. He would have been angry then, but he wouldn’t let his mind go down that path, knowing how dangerous it would be, instead he was afraid. Not afraid for himself, but for Arrow, and for Vis.
It seemed a bit unlikely, but it was possible that Vis would turn on Arrow in his rage and harm her. It was worse for the wolf, Morrison wondering how he would react to anyone showing up at the door to see what had happened. He was pretty sure that the wolf would go berserk on any curious passerbys or at least frighten them to the point where they’d call the police, or animal control, and they would use force to get Vis out of the building. That could turn out terribly.
“You have to get out of here,” Morrison said quickly, almost shakily, not looking up at Vis, but directing the words at him. “people are going to show up and someone’s going to call the cops.” It would seem even stranger to anyone seeing the situation that Morrison was being so calm. He wasn’t one of those weres who’s wolf was either on or off, it he had been, he would have reacted violently to Vis’ attack and he would have ended up dead. Yet , he’d managed to react mostly human, the wolf just allowed him to keep his emotions under control and realize what it was Vis was so enraged by.
