What a nice day[OPEN]

"I was curious, what time did you have to be at work..I don't want you to get in trouble or anything"Kris smiled that was very nice of him to remember and be considerate of her obligations. In all honesty she didn't plan on actually going to work today, she just didn't feel like it anymore. She she decided to take advantage of her clean work record and call in sick. She knew that her boss probably wouldn't mind and she would much rather hang with Shane then do any work. "I'm thinking of calling in sick actually. I would rather not go in today." she smiled slightly.

"Hey Kris, would you like to come over to my place for dinner...or just come hangout, I have a pool" Kris gave a nod and another smile. This day really was getting better and better, as soon as she explained things to her boss about not being able to come in she would be able to spend the whole day with someone she was growing a little fond of already. "I'm not much of a swimmer so I think just hanging out with you would be perfect. As long as I have some company I think I'm good to be honest."

When Kris spoke he listened, he was happy that she took off sick he wanted to chat more with her. When she mentioned that she wasn't much of a swimmer he giggled, Shane loved his pool it was always heated so he can do a late night swimming. When she mention about just hanging and that was it he nodded with a smile. "That's alright with me..so when do you want to head over, or do you want to get in comfortable cloths and then come over..either way its fine with me"[/b] he said nicely with a smile. He really didn't mind on what time she came, he had the whole day off and his house was spotless clean, well it was always clean no one lived in his house except his pet rottweiler.

He got a pet for which he needed a good guard dog to keep watch of the house, the last thing he needed was someone robbing his house. He had a lot of expensive furniture, and best believe it took him months to fill the entire house up. "I hope you don't mind dogs, I have one but don't worry he isn't a dangerous dog..only when I'm gone"[/b] he said to her, he figured he would let her know ahead of time about his pet. The last thing he wanted was her to walk in and have a heart attack seeing a huge dog. He felt pretty positive that she would still come over, at least he thought, you never know how people felt until they actually said something about it.

As he waited for her to speak he sat quietly in his seat and looked out in the window, it was very bright outside and from the looks of it the weather might actually be warm today. He hoped so only because it would be nice to sit outside by the pool with his little tiki lights on and have his built in fire place going. Once winter came in he would have to clean and cover up everything in his backyard. He was gonna miss the hot and warm weather, he didn't know what he was gonna do once winter started, he might just be out in the woods more in his animal form.

It really was nice of Shane to open his home to her like that. "I think we can head over im comfortable enough already. I don't really need to change." Kris knew that if she was to go back to her apartment and meet him later it would have been much later. Kris had a habit of getting extremely distracted. "I hope you don't mind dogs, I have one but don't worry he isn't a dangerous dog..only when I'm gone" Kris didn't mind animals at all.

Kris was never allowed to have any pets growing up because both her parents were allergic but she did enjoy animals. "No I don't mind that at all." she smiled. "I have always wanted a pet but I was never allowed to have them growing up. What is your dog's name? What kind is he?" she was getting excited about things already. It had been sometime since she had done something for herself and the idea that she was skipping work to get to know Shane better made things even more exciting for her.

When Kris spoke he listened, he was happy that she was comfortable and ready to head over to his house.When she mentioned that she didn't mind pets that made him even more happy, as she told him about how she couldn't have pets it made him a bit sad.Pets were like kids they were their for you when you need company and they gave you more love than any one.When she asked what his name was and what breed he smiled, "His name is Taz, he is a pure rottweiler...once you get to know him you will love him he is like a big lap dog"[/orange] he said giggling. "I have had pets all through out my life, we had farm animals,exotic animals you name it...pets give you more love than anything and are always their when you need some company"[/b] he said kindly to her.

When he finished talking he looked out the window and notice it was slowly getting a bit late, he slowly rise from his spot and stood next to the table.Stretching out a little bit he looked down at Kris with a smile, "Ready to leave"[/b] he said kindly with a smile, he slowly placed his hand beside her so he can help her up out of her seat.Today was a very good day and he hope that things would stay good, once they got to his house he had a good feeling that they were going to have a blast.Shane house was fun, he had all kinds of stuff it was almost impossible to be bored at his house.

"Yep. I'm ready....Taz sounds like a total sweetheart. I can't want to meet him. Hopefully he won't mind meeting me. I know sometimes it takes a while for dogs to get used to guests." As Kris made her way out of the cafe with him she wondered how the rest of the night would go. She had a feeling she was going to have fun since it was going to be a new experience.

"Again thanks for doing this. You don't met many people like yourself around her. I suppose that is just your country boy charm." she said with a slight wink. Today was turning out a lot better then she first planned it would.
