 Joining the Pack
There are not many requirements to join the Pack. The first is you must have been invited by one of the Pack's Dominant Wolves. The second is you must meet and gain approval of the Alpha. The third is you must participate in the Ritual of Blood.
The Ritual of blood starts with a Howl. First from the Alpha, and then from the applicant and the pack. This initiates the Pack bonds, mutual acceptance between the wolves. Next is the Hunt. The hunt will not end until there has been a sacrifice of blood and life to the Pack. During this hunt, the Alpha tests the applicants in small ways, the ability to scent prey, to stalk and to take them down. Blood of the Prey must be shared by all the present pack and the Alpha to solidify the bonds then. If any of those can not be successfully completed by the applicant, the pack bonds will fade within the hour.
Once the Ritual of Blood has been completed, the applicant is Pack. there is no half way, no partial pack. It is a thing that either is or isn't. The wolf then can move into the Den and start getting to know their Pack.
