As if the wizarding world didn't have enough to deal with, with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named on the rise, there is a secondary group forming. They do not all follow You Know Who, but many have decided that by associating themselves with Him, they will gain a more notorious reputation.
They call themselves Starlights. They don't agree with interbreeding, believing muggles and wizards should be kept apart. A muggleborn is special, a half-blood is grotesque. The ones who oppose the Starlights openly call themselves Fighters of Midnight, or FoM. They are happy for muggles and magic folk to interbreed, and so often break up violent protests or marches. FoMs are not as organised as Starlights, they tend to work individually in small groups.
Inside of Hogwarts, the marauders are in their sixth year. Faced with the perils of NEWT exams, girl trouble, puberty and nagging teachers, it's no wonder they don't want to think about the war waging outside of the school walls. It's time for you to join them.
