It was late Thursday afternoon and Katherine could swear that she was starting off the week at its beginning. The young woman had much on her plate this particular week. From students who weren't showing up for their classes with her or even the ones who were doing nothing but looking at the brown eyed woman to class work she needed to have graded, she was greatful when that moment came that her day was at its end.
Katherine had a stack of essays to go through and she laid her hands on them and lowered her head to the pile. A soft groan had escaped her lips. She had thought everyone had left when she started to speak to herself. I just don't get it? Why can't my students have been like me in college and seem interested in things? Even if it did seem boring, I shown my interest in the subjects for I knew I needed such education to better myself. Bleh, I need a bath. A long one tonight! Katherine did try to make the topics she taught interesting. She tried, really she did. The only problem was that this was a new era of students. A new world of problems. And she couldn't blame them for not wanting to take much lip off a teacher that wasn't much older than them, if that. With a lift of her head off the stack of essays, she was about to run her hands through her dark hair when she realized that one of her students hadn't left but had remained in his seat. Katherines puzzled look was given towards Eric. Had he been talking to her? Did he hear all of her griping? God. She hoped not. It was anything but professional for sure. As she straightened up her pose and cleared her throat,, she spoke to him. Eric, is there something you needed?

"Eric, is there something you needed?" Eric leaned back and looked at his teacher, not that he already wasn't looking at her. He always did. There wasn't a moment when Eric wasn't trying to admire her. It was pretty weird in a way but then again, Eric was a weird person. "A nice long bath?" He smirked slightly, the words that he had just said signalling that he had heard his teacher speak. "I'm actually here because I have a detention. Once again I found it amusing to put shaving foam in the college kitchen... No one else found pies filled with shaving foam to be funny for some reason."He shrugged before taking a book on wolves out of his bag and starting to read it.
A few seconds later he spoke again, "well, this moron clearly knows nothing about our kind." Eric put the book on his desk and looked back up at his teacher, "oh yeah, I know you're a were. The scent isn't hard to miss. I'm surprised you haven't mentioned it to me before, not that it matters. I prefer people not to know that I howl at the moon every time it's full." He smiled slightly as he looked at the book again, wondering whether or not to keep reading the rubbish the writer had put in it.

Eric had acknowledged Katherines bathing comment with his own words by repeating them. Her brows came together. She had hoped he hadn't heard. She pressed palms to the desk and decided it was best to pretend that his comment had been missed. Although she did happen to shift a little bit in that chair she was sitting in.
She listened as he spoke of himself remaining because of detention. That in itself had her brows unknitting and lifting up. She expected more from her students. He should of known this too with how she carried herself and her classes. Shaving cream in pies? She had to fight hard to hide her amusement. She knew that this wasn't a laughing matter. Eric you should know better. This isn't elementary school. You are not a ten year old.
She pushed up and stepped over to him. She glanced down to the book he had in front of him. She could see it was about wolves. For a moment she skimmed over whatever words she could read. Immediately pausing when hearing him meniton that she was one. What? Was he serious?
She had a scent that was unmistakable? She had never even thought of that herself. A frown crept upon her lips. She wasn't happy now suddenly for many reasons. One that he so freely was talking about. One that he knew. One that he seemed to care so little as her being one. Why would I mention that to you Eric? I barely know you. I am your professor.. but you have a point. Its not something I openly admit to doing too.. I'm sure some might laugh at us.
