Well this pretty lady is Lyra. She is a very free spirit, due to the fact that its how her parents raised her. Yeah, she was raised by hippies. She's a big ball of energy, and she gets bored very easily. She tends to not open up too much to people due to her past. But at the same time, she keeps her head up and loves to laugh. She's a very creative person, and if you ever want to catch a glimpse of who she really is, listen to some of her song lyrics, read one of her comic books, or you can always look at her drawings and paintings. She loves her tattoos so much that she felt the need to fit one on her finger. She's slightly socially awkward as well and tends to say slightly outrageous things. Lyra is also big on keeping the Earth clean. If she sees you not recycling, she may yell at you. Lyra is also in between a girly girl and a tom boy. She loves comics. And yes, she is quite a nerd. She is even in the process of writing her own comics. Lyra loves nature and tries to stay very intune with it because that was the way she was brought up, but doesn't mind the hussle and bustle of technology either. Particularly her iPod. Music is her absolute life and her first and only true love. Her favorites are punk and more techno rock music. Anything that is different and gets stuck in her head. She also likes celtic and classical music. She herself plays a more techno/rock sound as a musician. She has a really beautiful singing voice and plays three instruments... the guitar, piano/keyboard and her very favorite the KEYTAR. Yeah its a mix between guitar and keyboard and she loves playing in front of a crowd, though so far it has mostly been house parties and clubs, plus Youtube which she is getting quite a buzz from. Gotta start somewhere, right? She loves magick because it is apart of her and her family's history.


She really doesn't think much about the Vampires coming out of the closet for she was taught that they existed, as well as many other species. Actually, they intrigue her slightly, but thats because she has a serious love for danger and has a knack for getting herself into trouble. At this point, she is no longer in denial about this little fact of hers. It is not all too easy to suprise Lyra these days. She normally doesn't have much prejudice against anyone except maybe hunters, due to what they did to her whole coven. And she doesn't accept that they are so unaccepting.

Lyra Darlene Blacke was born in Savannah, Georgia into a very secret and powerful coven. It consisted of all kinds of people, from all walks of life. She was raised by her mother and grandmother. Her grandmother was the High Priestess of the coven until Lyra was 12 and her grandmother passed away. So, that made Lyra's mother the new High Priestess. While some kids her age were learning Algebra and Literature, Lyra learned spells, rituals, and the right protective herbs... along with Algebra and Literature. However, her father was not part of the coven. He and her mother split up when she was three, so every other summer she would stay with her father, who lived in Atlanta and was a club owner. Lyra quickly fell in love with music, art, and comic books. She taught herself how to play every single instrument she ever learned to pay. Sadly, when Lyra was only sixteen her father was shot in his own club and passed away. Lyra loved her father so much and losing him really nearly destroyed her. The only thing that helped her was art and music. It was a time where she did some of her best work. When she was seventeen, she really started to learn some heavy magick stuff. Her mother was seriously pushing her, wanting her to know all she could because if something happened to her, then Lyra would be the new High Priestess. Lyra didn't think much of it, feeling like she had more than enough time to learn everything. If she thought of it too hard, becoming High Priestess both frightened her and made her extremely happy. She wasn't exactly as focused as her mother wanted her to be. Lyra would much rather play music and read comics or paint. By the time she was eighteen, Lyra had already gotten three tattoos. Two matching going down her arms, and one on her wrist that she designed herself. Her mother wasn't all too strict about things like that. She actually encouraged her daughter to express herself any way she wanted as long as it didn't hurt anyone.

Everything was fine and dandy until a new coven came to town and started messing with Lyra's coven. What Ly didn't know is that this wasn't a new coven. It was one that her family had battled with many years ago and successfully ran them out for messing with the balance of magick. They were using their powers for bad... and Lyra's coven did not appreciate it for they were a good coven. This coven threatened to out them as witches to the whole town and kidnap and kill Lyra, who was important to the whole coven. This coven was a lot more powerful than they were before, and they were quite clever and malicious for they were under a new High Priest and Priestess. And this coven wanted Lyra for reasons unknown. They either wanted her dead or on their side, which neither were an option of course. What they also didn't know is that they had a snitch in the coven. Lyra's Aunt Medea was involved with one of the other coven's males. She was going back and forth between covens and telling the bad coven everything that was going on in Lyra's coven, making it nearly impossible to get rid of them. Of course, it took them until it was too late for her coven to find out who was the snitch. The other coven ended up attacking and killing the majority of Lyra's coven... including her mother.... which left Lyra so utterly furious that she and the other members of her coven that were left, and she used all of what her mother and grandmother had taught them and completely wiped the other coven powerless.

And why are they in Jameson Falls, you ask? Lyra thought it wasn't worth it to stay anymore. So, only three months before the Vampires came out of the closet, Lyra found this place and felt an automatic draw towards it. Why you ask? She had no clue. Lyra was at first not sure what to think of the Vampires coming out of the closet, but she's giving them a chance. A year later and they've not bothered her yet. Part of her is curious about them. Right now, she is actually pretty happy with her life. She's got a budding music and now she's working on a comic book. Her coven is living peacefully and ever-growing. But how long will this last? [/size][/right]It was 11:00 at night when Raegan had finally gotten off work tonight. Her day was very busy and her brain was particularly fuzzy at the moment. All that she wanted to do was lay on the couch with her wolfie-poo and watch a movie until she fell asleep. So far, this was the longest 'thing' that she had ever had. She met the guy when she first moved to town. She had broken down and it was a difficult day for her already. Luckily, the right guy had stopped and helped her with her piece of crap vehicle that she had been living in for a few days at that time. Could you guess her luck? He was a mechanic and had the car going pretty quickly. Since then, the two had run into each other a few other times and he helped her get settled into the new town. Raegan walked up her townhouse steps, ready to open the door and soak her feet in a long bath before the boy toy to arrive. Sure, Raegan liked to think that that was what their relationship was. But deep down inside her she also knew that there was something more there. The way she felt about him scared her way too much, which is why they fought so much probably. They had already ended the relationship once before, but they managed to find their way back to each other some how. Usually, she was far too focused on her job and life to even think about a guy. But things happened. Rae sighed and opened her red front door, which she loved. She couldn't remember what it meant, but it made her feel like this was her home more and more every time she opened it. Her apartment was rather small, but it was the cheapest one she could afford and she made the best of her space. When she opened the door, she was automatically in an open living room that wasn't the most decorated at the moment. But that was what she used a lot of her paychecks on. There was a couch she got at Goodwill and a nice television that she just got with her last check that she was particularly proud of. As much as she wanted to just throw herself on her couch and sleep forever... she also wanted to see her wolfie. The walls in her apartment were still beige, which she was hoping to paint with her next check. She walked into her kitchen, almost falling over her white cat, Sookie. She rubbed Sookie's head and behind her ears, happy to see that the cat was gaining weight. She had found her out in the cold and she was almost dead. And, being the animal lover she was, she took the cat in and took it to the vet and now Sookie was like her adopted child. Not to mention, she changed into the cat when she needed to shift. Hey Sooks. Didn't see ya there. Hungry? She asked the cat who looked at her and then at her empty bowl of food. Rae grabbed a bag of Meow Mix and poured some food into the hungry cat's bowl, and then went upstairs to get ready for her movie date. She really didn't feel like getting all dressed up, but she smelled like sick people. Upstairs was a kind of loft, involving her bed and the bathroom and small closet. She liked for her house to be clean and wasn't one to be a fan of leaving clothes or other messes. She picked out her clothes for the evening and hopped into a warm lavender scented bubble bath, paired her washing her hair with her favorite herbal essences shampoo. She got out and got dressed, what she had picked was just a basic gray tshirt and denim blue jeans. She styled her hair in her usual wavy hairstyle. When she was done, she went back downstairs and sat on her couch with her cell phone. She texted him to tell him she was ready. Hey wolfie-poo!
