Jason, a very new vampire, walked along the Spider Pier with a bottle of Trueblood in his hand. His golden-brown eyes blinked as people walked past him. Talking and laughing, the mortals kept on their daily life. Jason sighed and frowned slightly at himself. He just felt...lonely as a vampire. In the past two days, he has been at the bar and talked to a few people. Some of his best friends have stayed away from him and gave Jace side way glances as they come and go in Pete's bar.
Jason kept walking as he watched the stars twinkle over the roaring ocean. He then wondered what icy water feels like to a vampire, but decided ignore the curious thought. Still walking, he strode along the pier to the dock area. He found a bench and easily sat on it. A cool breeze ruffled his hair, which did not make him tighten wince. Once a vampire...he can't really feel the winds anymore and sort of felt relived from wearing a jacket.
Jason sighed as he started to hum a soft tune as he watches the moon stars over the sparking, rolling ocean. (I am at a stand still, while the world keeps on moving around me. Fate and destiny still work with others, but they don't bother me anymore.) he thought as he soaked up the moon's light. The newborn vampire sat still while he listens to the night world, as Earth keeps on spinning.

Maggie was rather calm for that night. There really wasn't anything she had done other then pull out a few bags of blood from her refrigerator before making herself a few glasses of blood. She knew she probably wasn't going to last long on few day old blood but she had grown rather lazy and didn't feel like making herself look pretty for the drunks at the bar. The King had been keeping her pretty busy so she found herself constantly exhausted from her duties. Luke hadn't exactly made her life stress free either. It was hard balancing her time with him as well as her duties for the King. It wasn't the greatest feeling in the world. Last time Maggie had checked she didn't belong to anyone but herself but ever since her slips up she had found herself forced to server Mr. Halloway. It was either that or death...she certainly didn't want to stop living her undead life.
Shuffling her feet across the ground she let out a deep sigh. The pier seemed to be one of the many places she found herself wandering to lately. She wasn't going to risk strolling near the forest or cliffs. The weres and shifters seemed to be popping up a lot long those areas and the last thing she needed was to be attacked by a were...again. Maggie figured she could take on a shifter. They weren't nearly as strong as the weres, and they certainly didn't make her as uneasy. Just as Maggie was getting comfortable with the scenst around her she picked up a familiar yet interesting one. It had been a while since she had smelt a new born and she wondered who this lucky person happened to be.
Before she knew it she was standing by her person of interest. Maggie tilted her head slightly as she smirked. "Looks like Jamerson Falls got another bright young vampire." She was delighted. It was always fun messing with the younger ones. They seemed so navie and clueless to this world.. "Let me guess...your going on the no human blood diet?" she said eying the bottle in his hand. "I give it maybe a few weeks tops."

Jason paused as he heard feet walking and sort of ignored the feeling uneasiness. His head is turned toward the ocean, as he thought of what he should do in his new immortal life. His golden-brown eyes blink slowly as he went into deep thought. His head slightly jerked when he heard a silky, calm, female voice.
His head swerved to glance at Maggie and smiled politely. "Hello, miss." he said as he nodded a greeting to the other vampire. The newborn vampire can also sense that she is older, much older then him. He paused again to form words to answer back to Maggie with. His eyes turned to the moon for a brief few minutes to thinks before turning back to Maggie.
He nodded his head, "I think your right, Madam...About the new vampire. I was turned 4 days ago." Jason said really politely and calmly. "Um, I am following my creator's instructions by drinking Trueblood. He said that I am not ready for human's blood yet." he said with a soft sigh. He then listened to Maggie and his eyes widened a bit. "A few weeks for what?" he asked politely as he faced Maggie and met her eyes with his calm, polite golden-brown eyes.

A deviant smirk crossed her face as she looked into his golden eyes. "That's how long I think your going to last before you sink your fangs into some delicious human blood...maybe even how long your survive without getting yourself staked." she winked as she made her way to the other side of him. "Who is your maker anyway? He must be a dope to be filling you up with the synthetic crap." Maggie from day one had never been really guided as a vampire, she had just received a note telling her to stay out of the sun and be smooth with her kills.
Maggie was one of the lucky ones to know how to man her own. The new power that she had been given by luke seemed to fit perfectly with her already strong personality. Of course now Luke and Maggie had reunited and began to date, his true intention of her transformation before he chickened out. As far as instruction went Luke had been somewhat of a horrible teacher. "Four days old? This whole thing must be a interesting experience." she said with a soft laugh. "So how did it happen? Did you turn by choice or by chance?"

Jason blinked calmly as he listened to Maggie patiently. "You might be right on feeding on a human. Or you might be wrong." he said soothingly to the older vampire. She is about to get on his nerves right now.(Staked? No way, I am not letting that happen to me.) he thought to himself as his eyes slightly narrowed before they relaxed quickly.
He then heard the question and sighed. "My creator is Brodir. He is a really decent person. So, don't call him a dope." Jason partly growled softly with his eyes slightly narrowed. He then hopes that Maggie will turn back her words.
Jason sighed again before blinking at Maggie, "I was fighting four drunks to save a friend. I was also on the loosing side, but I defended my friend quite well. My liver was cut before the last of the four drunks ran off. Brodir found me and gave me a choice to die or turn into a vampire. I...chose to be a vampire." he said to Maggie before he glanced at the ocean again.

"Of course you chose to be a vampire! What stable human chooses death?" she gave a slight laugh as she followed his eyes to the ocean. "You still seem upset about this whole process. I don't see why you should be after all your ten times better then any human, not to mention faster, stronger, and more attractive." There were tons of perks to being a vampire in Maggie's option. Some even assumed that is how her ego often got so inflated. She understood her power and didn't skimp on showing that to those she felt were below her."I really don't see the down side other then the whole not walking in the sun. But really...all the fun things happen at night." Maggie said with a slight shrug as she sat down at the edge of the pier and watched the water.
After a few minutes of silence she looked back over at Jason. "If you walk around all mopey like that your practically begging to get staked. There are things out there that are going to want to hurt you because of what you are. I have heard rumors about hunters. They don't care if how you became one either. I didn't have a choice but to me I'm glad. I think I would have missed out on a lot." she smirked.

Jason has finally got a bit frustrated with Maggie. It sort of shows in his eyes as he listened to the older vampire. "No, I am not upset with the process. I am also okay living in the night, since my work is during the night time hours. I am a bar tender for Pete's." he said, trying to be calm as he sort of spat at Maggie.
Maggie's next comment he just stayed silent to answer it. She sort of sounded snotty to the young vampire who he really disliked. He easily looked away before listening into Maggie's next words.
Jace paused as heard about hunters. (Never heard that they exist.) he thought with a soft gaze on Maggie. "Hunters? I never thought that they exist. I guess I should be more alert." he mumbled softly to himself, even though Maggie can hear him. He then looked up as Maggie finished and nodded as he understood what she means.

Maggie couldn't help but be slightly amused by Jason. She saw that he had exhausted his patience and his expression curled up into annoyance rather quickly. She let out a light laugh. The new ones were always fun to mess with a bit. "So how bad is your thirst? I bet you want to cheat a bit and knock some dumb teenager over the head and sink your fangs into them, of course you have to be sure that there aren't any hunters watching. We might be undead but there are a few things that make us just as breakable as any human." she gave a smirk, slightly teasing the new born by her side. It was now even more amusing to her that she was starting to make him slightly mad. "Who would have thought that a wooden stick could make us meet the truth death? Must have sucked for the vampire that give up their life for the humans to discover that one."
Her eyes looked to the sky and her smile grew. She was having way too much fun with this. Her source of entertainment for that night happened to be Jason and there was no way she was going to just walk away from him now. "I'm sure Bora Bora will be fine with it. I mean he doesn't honestly think that you are supposed to live off of that fake blood right?"
