Walking out of the campus doors Laura let out a sigh of relief. She didn’t really know why she was going to college; after all she already had when she was younger. ”Got to fit in.” She spoke in a dry tone well rolling her eyes. It would have been so much easier had her father not have come to Jamerson Falls and had just stayed in Europe. She didn’t have to hide from people there. ”But oh no, that would have been too easy on me.” Sighing Laura looked around for a place to sit, she had school work to do. Well not really school work, more like stalking her father some more, but still it was work.
Sitting down at a bench she splayed her books around her, though she was falling slightly behind in class she was more worried about the fact that she had yet to set her eyes on Luke. ”If all of this was for no reason, ugh I swear, I won’t be a happy camper.” Having been looking for her father for well over nine hundred years Laura was sure she’d be well past pissed if he turned out to not actually be in this town.
Leaning over her books Laura almost forgot that she was meeting Ambry out here. Closing her books she looked around, ”Don’t want to be working on this when she comes.” She thought with a laugh. Although they were friends Laura didn’t want anyone to know her father was a vampire, at least not right away. Letting her gaze fall back down on her research she let out another light sign, she was sure to make a great detective or Private investigator if she ever decided to get a career. Of course right now she was just going through College for some pointless stuff, pretty much just to add another diploma onto her wall.
Hearing foot steps behind her she slid her books into her backpack before turning around and placing a smile on her face. She had to admit, she liked hanging out with Ambry, she was one of the closest friends she had made since ending up in this city. Looking up at her Laura grinned. ”Glad you could take some time out of you schedule to meet me.” She said jokingly as she leaned back against her picnic table’s top.
