[/size][/right]Alex is - to those he loves - a fierce and doting protector who'd give his life for theirs in a heartbeat. Naturally working as a Police Dog means he puts his life on the line each and every day, and even better is that he's the companion of his (currently unknowing) childhood friend and love interest, Kathryn Nicole Lee - and has been for the past three years. He knows her better than anyone else alive, and having to take the form of her canine companion means not only can he stay close to her at all times but he can be the one to look after her and lend a ear.He is, however, incredibly shy which is the exact reason he doesn't betray the fact he's not really a dog to her. He loves her of course, which is exactly the reason he get so utterly fierce if she's approached by another male with ill intent (and actually even when they're utterly innocent, just incase) which can cause some issues but also makes him fierce when he's on the job. He also has no qualms killing people for her, which while not exactly nice, is part of the job if the suspect is violent or (as is the case mostly) they get violent to Kat herself.
At home however, he transforms into the typical rather lazy couch potato - which he always was. Of course, the perks of being a canine means he can frequently be her pillow - or just generally get stroked which he doesn't mind at all, but otherwise he's always on guard for her. So far as the Vampires coming out? Fine with him so long as none of them come near Kat. Otherwise he'll have to introduce his teeth to their throat.

[/size][/right]Alexander was born a Shifter; yet having a crush on a suspected Human wouldn't much help him in the years to come. Thus from the time he and Kitty first started hanging out together properly, he didn't tell her or even hint at it. They became very close friends and basically did everything together; until the year before 8th Grade when Kitty misjudged the depth of a river and jumped in only to realize she was drowning; Alex jumped in after her and pushed her to shore only to go under - and making her think he'd drowned.Of course, he hadn't. He resurfaced miles down river, freezing but alive. Knowing he couldn't go home, he began to explore to countryside as his CANINE form, where he lived, moving from home to home and generally acting a house pet; but he never lost sight of who he was. Three years ago he managed to find himself back in Jamerson falls - and wanting to make something of himself - got himself noticed and enrolled in the K9 unit - and much to his shock got paired up with Kitty once more. Now three years on he's still her faithful guardian and protector, waiting for the day he can tell her he's her childhood friend.[/div][/td][td]
