Daniella walked deeper and deeper into the forest, while her mind went deeper and deeper into her warped memories. It was almost a year ago that she'd had her first change.. almost a year ago she had killed her boyfriend.... and just over ten years ago that her mother had died in nine eleven. She only had her father and her brother now. That and her guitar.
Oh how she loved her acoustic guitar. It had been through everything with her. It was with this guitar that she wrote everyone of her fourty-odd songs. She would be lost without her guitar, even more lost than she already was.
Dani sat down on a fallen log and began to strum her guitar, playing random riffs until she was warmed up, then she began to play a familar riff. A riff, that turned into a song. A song she wrote.
[/size]
"Hush, now let's go quiet to the park Where it first started Cool night, us lying in the dark I felt my heart Was trying to find the place for you to stay A place where I feel safe
Anything we have known, anything we've forgotten In the rain, in the dark we'll lay In your arms, in your arms I'll stay Anything we have known, anything we've forgotten In the rain, in the dark we'll lay In your arms, in your arms I'll stay
Take my hand Let's go into the trees Behind the branches Falling on our knees I remember feeling like this part of us will never change
Anything we have known, anything we've forgotten In the rain, in the dark we'll lay In your arms, in your arms I'll stay Anything we have known, anything we've forgotten In the rain, in the dark we'll lay In your arms, in your arms I'll stay
Follow me We both know the way It's always been the same
Anything we have known, anything we've forgotten In the rain, in the dark we'll lay In your arms, in your arms I'll stay"
Dani sang the song, tears in her eyes, when she froze. Someone was there. Georgia was out on on the pack porch taking in everything there was to take in.Georgia had a knack for sniffing out trouble and when the Vampires were at their most aggressive. She had to be on top of her game for the sake of the alliance. She owed so much to them and she knew that eventually the bloodsucking leeches would all be a thing of the past. There seemed to be less of them though, or at least less of them messing around. The killer was still on the lose though and no one had any clue as to who or what he or she was. Lately though news of that whole event had died down altogether. Georgia wasn't going to forget that night at the ball though. There was still a threat and she had been patrolling like crazy to try to get any leads. The town seemed slightly less restless and Georgia still kept herself alert, even if she felt like retreating for an afternoon nap.
It wasn't log before her nose caught wind of a familiar smell. There was another were in the area, but one she didn't recognize. There always was a chance that one of the other wolfs from the other pack had happened to wander into her territory. Not that it mattered a whole lot..... ok it did, she expected them to keep on their side as well as for them to stay away from hers. She didn't hate the other pack, in fact she seemed to get along with them just fine but in her book they were a competing pack. They were bigger too, and as long as they were bigger she would be keeping on her toes a little more. She didn't want them to be sympathizers with the vampires after all. She wasn't exactly familiar with all their ways, so she didn't warm up to the idea of them being able to wander into her territory freely.
Georgia found it slightly odd that this were happened to be singing, and when she caught sight of her,( after walking some distance into the forest surrounding her house) she noticed that this were felt extremely rouge. There seemed to be no connection of a pack in anyway. Georgia really didn't know how to react, in her honest opinion this were seemed rather naive. There really was no point in giving her a lecture about territories when in fact she seemed clueless that she had crossed into Georgia's altogether. Georgia was slightly grumpy though, and wanted a nap so she knew she would be a bit snappy. "Um, can I help you?" she snapped slightly crossing her arms before she looked back towards her house inbetween the trees. Hopefully that would get the point across that she was on private property whether she knew it or not. An expression of annoyance and amusement crossed her face as she studied the girl. She was sure that she would have been a little more friendlier if she hadn't been so tired. As of right now her wolf was pretty much dominate. She wasn't in the mood to do too much talking, but deep down she felt slightly sorry for being so harsh.

Daniella watched the little redhead come out of the forest, and giggled slightly at her accent, fingers finding the heart locket she wore around her neck and playing with it before noticing the house a little between the trees. At that, the smile drained from her face and she swallowed painfully. "I'm so sorry miss.. I just... needed to get away. I feel more comfortable in the forest and..." She sniffed slightly, just barely catching a scent of werewolf. At the familiar scent the dark haired girl visibly relaxed, smiling slightly. "Hey, you're like me! Maybe you can help me then. You see... I've only ever... changed into whatever I am... once before, on my fourteenth birthday.." She swallowed painfully at the images that flashed in her mind, "and well, I know my dad isn't the same as I am. He's human. And my mom died.. so I don't know what to do, really. I'm all alone in this.." She said, chocolate brown eyes earnest.
Dani paused and stroked her guitar before realizing that she was being rude, "Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't tell you my name. I'm Daniella Quinn, but you can call me Dani if you want. I guess you could say that I'm a Werewolf... though I wasn't bitten." She blinked, confused by everything. "I don't get any of this, really." She admitted, playing with her locket.

I've only ever... changed into whatever I am... once before, on my fourteenth birthday.." Georgia couldn't help but look slightly amused at this whole display. Even though she was a little tired and grumpy Dani was very entertaining to her. 'Was I like this when i was that young?'Geogia countiend to listen to her talk as she relaxed a little."and well, I know my dad isn't the same as I am. He's human. And my mom died.. so I don't know what to do, really. I'm all alone in this.." Georgia couldn't help but feel slightly sorry there. She had always had her family to help her through her transformation. Like Dani she had been born into it.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't tell you my name. I'm Daniella Quinn, but you can call me Dani if you want. I guess you could say that I'm a Werewolf... though I wasn't bitten.I don't get any of this, really." Georgia gave a smile. "My name is Georgia Roth.....Do you want to come inside and talk. I think I can help you. It might be more comfortable to talk inside the house." she said softly looking at Dani. "I have food..." she said with a slight laugh. "Not that I'm trying to be a crepper. Just trying to be polite..." Yep, Georgia really didn't have a filter when she was tired.

Dani grinned and visibly relaxed when Georgia smiled, feeling a little more.. less afraid. She smiled at Georgia and put her guitar back in her case gently. It was her child, pretty much. Her mother had gotten it for her when she was three and it was pretty much the only thing she had left of her mother, aside from the memories.
The memories.. even that one word sent images of flames.. of burning buildings through her head. That, mixed with a bloody body covered in clawmarks... Dani gave a light shudder and focused back on the present, although the images seemed to be clear in her eyes, and the pain that she felt. At the mention of food, her ears seemed to prick up, as if she were a dog. "Food, you say? Well, if you insist.." She giggled, playing with her pendant and slinging the guitar case over her shoulder gently. She was considerably shorter than the other girl, as she was barely 5'0, but that hardly mattered for anything. "Let's go." She grinned, chocolate eyes seemingly playful.

Geogria gave a smile knowing that the option of having a meal would sound appealing to any were. There really wasn't anyone of her kind that would pass up an opportunity of free food. When the two of them reached her the pack house Georgia showed her inside and to the living room where a huge couch rested against the wall. "Give me a few minutes to fix some things and we can have a little talk. I want to know if you would be interested in an offer I am willing to make."After about a few minutes in the kitchen Georgia had warmed up a plate of various microwaveable snacks. She really wasn't sure what Dani would prefer so she tried her best to give her a sampling of a few things. It was much similar to any appetizer plate offered in the restaurants. As soon as Georgia set the food on a small coffee table in front of the couch she ran back to get a few sodas and waters before placing them beside the food.
Taking a seat across from Dani Georgia gave a smile. "I noticed that you don't belong to a pack and I was wondering if you would be interested in belonging to mine. We are looking for a few more weres and it seems like you would make an nice addition to the family. I'm sure you could use the extra friends as well at this time." she gave a smile as she looked at Dani hoping this offer would sound just as interesting to her as if she was being asked to join one of those elite clubs. "The good thing about the pack would be we could help you with any questions you might have about being a wolf. I know the transformation is pretty painful and scary but now you won't have to be alone."

Dani smiled and sat on the couch, playing with her little heart locket and gently setting her guitar down beside her as she looked around her. It was a large house, Georgia was lucky to live in such a beautiful home. Unlike Dani who had moved into her own apartment, to protect her brother and father. Ever since her first transformation, she'd been so scared she'd kill her brother, or her father. They were her entire world.
Daniella grinned as the food was placed in front of her, picking up something and popping it in her mouth. She wasn't quite sure what it was, but it was yummy, that was for sure. She washed it down with a little cream soda, grinning. "Yum, thank you." When she sat in front of Dani, Dani looked a little nervous. Join her pack? Was she serious? Did they really want her? "Are you sure? I mean... I'm... I would love to but... why me?" Dani asked, biting her lip.

Georgia smiled. She figured that Dani would ask a question like that. "Well it just seems like you could use a family right now. That is what packs are. We will help you with your transition and help you learn how to accept things for what they are. I see a lot of potential in you and we need weres like that to protect the people of this town from the vampires. You don't have to, but know that you are welcomed to join." Georgia took a sip of coke before eating some of the food. It tasted really good but she could never remember what it was. Eric was the one that was the expert on picking out the pack food.
"Everything will be provided for you here like I have said. There really is nothing to worry about anymore. We are here for you and we know what it is like to be a wolf." Georgia took a few more bites of food as she looked up at Dani. She wondered what she would say. It was clear that Dani needed help and support and Georgia was willing to give her all that through the pack. Soon she would call a pack meeting to introduce the newest members Tintreach and Dani, if of course she was to agree to join.
