[atrb=style,background-color: transparent,bTable] hey guys. my name is alexandra janice glades, but you can call me alex. everyone else does, so i guess you can too. i'm twenty-two years young, and if it isn't already obvious, i'm a female. it should be. what isn't so obvious is the fact that i'm a shifter, but you can keep that a secret for now. |
personality
Alex is a hard person to understand, since she grew up in a pretty unstable family it takes a lot of work to become her real friend and to get her to actually relax around you. Honestly it’s like peeling an onion; you need to take it a layer at a time. She is not one that can be pushed around or forced to do something she doesn’t want to, she is very stubborn and strong willed. If Alex believes in something she will not be swayed away from it, same with if she sets her mind to anything even if she in wrong she will still do what she wants to. Once you earn her trust Alex will be loyal to you through thick and thin, it’s almost like she marries every one of her friends. Though he warned she doesn’t trust easily and tends to be very sarcastic in almost any situation making her hard to get along with when you first meet her. On the side of boys, Alex loves to be a tease and pretend to be interested in guys just to get what she wants. Though when she actually likes a guy she usually pretends not to because she is afraid to let anyone get close to her and she likes making guys work for her.
Vampires are defiantly her favourite thing to fool around with. She finds them amusing and she liked to try and figure out how their mind works. Nothing really scares her since she looks at life like every day can be your last and you should live it as such, so why not try all the dangerous things? Alex just finds vampires more fun to mess around with then humans so she’s glad that everyone finally knows they are in town.
history
Alex was born in New York to James and Tina Glades. Though they never stayed in one part of New York for very long; her father’s job made them need to move a lot. On the surface her family looked like any other, the dad that worked more than not, the mom that stayed home to look after the kid and the daughter that always behaved herself. But this was as far from the truth as you could get, Alex was almost never aloud out of her room because her mom didn’t actually want her and since her dad was almost never around Tina tended to get away with it. If her mom wasn’t busy yelling at her she was most likely pasted out on the couch or zoned out in front of the TV. Alex grew up living like this until she was 16 and she moved out. Life on her own was hard since her mother and father disowned her once she walked out the door and since she wanted to get as far away from them as she could with the money she saved she moved to Jamerson Falls, New Jersey. After she got here she discovered how she could turn into a tiger whenever she wanted. It turned out to be the only stable thing in her life and also her escape from the real world and up to when she turned twenty she probably spent more time as a tiger in the forest then as her human self. When her twentieth birthday came around she realized that she needed to get herself out of the dark hole she was in and actually live her life and meet new people.
In the next couple of years she spent her time manipulating males and pretending to be people’s friends. Now here she is at twenty-two still with the same habits and living life to the fullest. Can anyone get to the real person underneath all the protection layers she’s put up? [/div]
A dark figure moved through the still midnight air. It was the best time to be out; hardly anyone was out at this time because it was to ‘dark’. But to Mockingbird there was no such thing as to ‘dark’. Yes, darkness scared some, but why? What could possibly be lurking in the shadows that would hurt you, besides another dog or maybe a human? But then again not too many humans are out at midnight, and as long as no one had a reason to hurt you, you should be able to go out at night. Still, there were almost no other dogs to be seen. Mockingbird stretched his sense of smell as far as it would go in order to see if by any chance another dog might be lurking around. Mockingbird wanted to talk to someone, badly. He felt lonely ever since he left all his ‘friends’ that he had back home, well if they could be called friends. Mockingbird was known to be hard to make friends with, he didn’t trust anyone and for that reason others thought he had something to hind. But in all reality he was the smartest of them all, if you didn’t trust anyone then you had less of a chance of getting hurt or having to help other dogs because they ‘trust’ you to do so. Oh how mockingbird hated helping others, it wasn’t something he was good at. Every time he tried to help someone, that someone usually ended up being the one that was hurt. And that was usually the reason Mockingbird had to leave places fairly quickly and change his name, so the followers of the person that got hurt didn’t find him and hurt him. Yes, by now he had quite a few, okay a hell of a lot of dogs after him. But, eh what are you going to do, right?
Lost in his thoughts Mockingbird didn’t realize where he was going, and by the time he actually stopped and looked around all he was a tall decaying tower that had a clock on it. Taking a wild guess he figured it was the old clock tower of the city or something like that. Mockingbird sighed, it was late and he needed some rest, and this place didn’t seem half bad. At least, not after some of the other places he had stayed in. As soon as he got his bulky body through the hole in the wall; the scent of a female drifted to him. A smirk crossed his face; he wasn’t one to mess with females because he knew firsthand what they could do. Following the scent the female left behind Mockingbird ended up at the top of the clock tower. And there; on the ground, lay a dog. Mockingbird took a few more steps in then sat down making himself conferrable.
”Why hello there misss.” He dragged out the ‘s’ just for the fun of it and then he just sat. Sat and waited for the female to either bitch him out or to say hello back, or well attack him, but he hoped that didn't happen. After all what kind of welcome would that be?
