I would sit here and give you a pretty little paragraph as to why I have been missing in action but I'm not, so you all can suck it up. With the long gaps leaves us a lot of gossip. Not only that but some old legends unveiling themselves.
Seems like there were a few showdowns in town these past few months. Kyon and Kris didn't seem to get along after Kris refused Kyon the bitch witch a cigarette. Kris was left with a week of sleepless night as well as a few cuts. There also seems to be a new cat and mouse game between Buffy and Maggie. Seems like this vampire has been wanting to sink her fangs into him, and finally got the chance a few nights ago. Maggie of course was a little surprised to see that Buffy could pack a punch right back. A newbie on my radar, Mercedes Samson, had a little run in with some vampires due to her gifts. Seems like she is quite the little psychic if you want to find someone. Radar is her game and you will get what you paid for with her.
And that ALMOST brings the royal ball.... that event was just full of juicy gossip and I am sure you all are dying to hear about it. I did notice however that Maggie seemed to be absent from this event and that is when I noticed that Samara went from gorgeous to gross. Seems like she had been walking around the forest trying to follow the kings orders and teach this misbehaving Vampire a lesson. Her lesson backfired when she lost control of her powers and Maggie left her with a broken arm. Maggie can't seem to stay out of trouble. Not only has she been playing hockey from her duties but she as also been seen stirring up some trouble with the Vision Pack wolves. Eve, the town's newest little wolf had a brief meeting with Maggie before Levi showed up and pulled out the big guns. Needless to say Heathcliffe didn't hesitate to step in and give his newest assassin another chance.
The ball on the other hand was a blog in itself. Corbin and Heathcliffe looked stunning at the beginning of the evening but it seemed that the queen blew a fuse when Emile ended up having a freak out session. After hearing Morrison's accent Emile flipped. Rumor has it that this were had an experience with another Alpha before he met the Vision Pack. Not only that but there could be some tension felt between Morrison and Levi. I gathered some information that a bit of a fight broke out between the two a while back. This keeps getting better and better. Our little Emile later walked out to the garden only to be spotted acting strangely and getting up close and personal with Buffy. In all honesty he looked to be a bit drugged. Leave it to Arrow and Vis to talk some sense into the mutt a little later.
That was around the time things started to get interesting. There was a scream that set chills down everyone's spine (later discovered to be the power filled cry of our very own Jennifer Evans sister of Maggie). A few flickers of lights and before we knew it a dead body was found at the feet of the queen. Police arrived shortly after this happened and it was later noted that freakishly enough around this time the witches were loosing control of their powers (hints the scream and Samara's electric surge). It wasn't long before a gun shot was heard and We found our very own pack leader Vis, dead on the ground (wolfsbain laced bullets just don't mix well with were hearts). At this point the police and royals were doing their best to calm the weres, and everyone else down. Jennifer was taken into custody and the title of Vision pack Alpha was handed over to Brent. Since then Police have been questioning a handful of people looking for leads. Rumor has it that Jennifer was never taken into custody by Jamerson Police but the royal guards....although we can't be so sure at this moment.
So things might have seemed a little quiet but i haven't failed to notice the sudden interests and talk of hunters in the area. It it said that there are are a group of supernaturals out to stake every last one of the vampires. I have only spotted rogue hunters as of lately but I have reason to believe that the Alliance seems to be back in business. Yes, you heard right. That wives tale seems to be apparently true. Although I wouldn't know who happens to be in this exclusive group at the time. I plan on filling you in on everything about them in the next issue though.
