Brodir nodded at Alex,"We can stay here for as long as like. I am in no hurry to go anywhere at the moment." Brodir leaned back into the bench when Alex did. He was hoping that his continued presence was comforting to Ale, and that she wasn't just indulging him. "You know I didn't make the offer to share my blood with you lightly, and I wouldn't make it to just anyone." That part was very true, Brodir would never give his blood to just anyone, in fact he never imagined making the offer to anyone ever again.
"The offer is still on the table if you ever so desire." But for now Brodir was going to drop it, Alex knew the offer was still available, it would be her choice. Just as it was her choice to allow him to taste of her blood. Brodir pushed that thought from his mind as well, now was definitely not the time to think of such things. If anything Alex needed his company, nothing more.
Brodir smiled as he thought back to what Alex had said about already having dreams about him. It had seemed a little bit of the old Alex had shown through. That was a good sign he hoped. He was glad that night had left a positive impression on Alex. It had certainly left one on him. Brodir hadn't meant to but he had chuckled aloud a bit. That had been a fun night and an invigorating one too. Well invigorating three times to be accurate. Now once again Brodir pushed those thoughts from his mind, no doubt the chuckle had been noticed.
Brodir noticed when he looked back at Alex that she was once again looking at the tree line. Hopefully she wasn't scared that 'he' would come back again. If 'he' did happen to show up, 'he' would not be surviving long. "As long as I am here, you won't have to worry about anything coming out of those trees."

Alex smiled at him when he spoke. ”Thank you, really.” Were the only words that came out of her mouth, there was so much more she could say but she couldn’t find the breath for them. She actually found herself wanting to accept his offer of the blood, maybe it was better to have someone know what you were feeling. The thought made her shake her head, she could believe that she actually just debated having someone feel the way she does. This wasn’t something Alex wanted to wish on anyone, not if she could stop it. Just him being here and listening to her was more then she would have expected from anyone she knew. And right now, it was enough.
Her lip twitched a little when he chuckled, she was sure she would be able to guess what he was laughing about and it almost made her want to laugh along with him. At least now she knew that she would be able to laugh and have a good time again, it was just going to take a little bit of time. ”It’s nice of you to offer, I know you wouldn’t if you didn’t think it would help. For that I thank you but it’s not something I can ask of you.” Shaking her head at herself she let the subject drop as he did. Maybe it was best just to pretend that never happened. She was just glad the topic was gone before she found herself saying okay to the offer.
As she stared off into the forest flash backs of what had happened started playing through her head. Crushing her eyes closed her begged the images away and was beyond thankful when she heard his voice break through. Tilting her head in his direction she sent him a soft smile. She didn’t have words to describe how thankful she was that he was just being there for her right now. Luckily she didn’t think they were needed, Alex was sure Brodir could tell that his presence meant a lot to her right now.

Brodir could tell from Alex's smile that she was grateful for his company. That thought comforted him as well, he was glad to know that no matter the circumstances, Alex was comfortable with him. It had been a very long time since Brodir had someone be this comfortable around him, at least someone that knew who and what he was. Then again Alex hadn't known who Brodir had been in the past only who he was now. Though even those past times where Brodir was very different from who he was now helped shape who he was tonight. Brodir liked to think if Alex knew of all of his past, both good and ill, that she would accept him.
Brodir didn't have anymore words at the moment. Though that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. A silent moment between two people at a time like this could mean a lot more than any word. At least that was true in Brodir's experience. Brodir hugged Alex closer again as he titled his head so he was able to return her smile. Brodir then leaned down a bit and kissed Alex gently on the forehead. As he leaned back he caught her gaze and held it. Trying to cement the fact that he was here for her, no matter what she needed him to do for her.

Alex listened to the silence of the night, cool air lightly buffering against her cheek as she let out a sigh. This would almost be considered romantic if not for the reason as to how they ended up in this situation. Sitting next to Brodir came with a short of calming effect to her; she couldn’t say that about to many people. Maybe it was how he just held her silently well waiting for her to settle down or maybe it was because she was being gentle and understanding when most others would have ran in a different direction.
Resting her cheek on top of his shoulder she closed her eyes, breathing in his scent. It was so warm and welcoming to her senses. This had to be the first person she had ever broken down in front of and not been ashamed of it. Something about him made her feel like she couldn’t hide anything from it no matter how hard her tried to. A feeling she had never experienced before and had never expected to, definitely not with someone she had known for such a small amount of time. It was almost like she had known him for all her life or they had grown up in the same home; it was hard to believe that they had met only a few short nights ago at a bar. It was almost something she could laugh at and probably would when the whole situation sunk in.
When she saw him smiling back down at her and felt his lips lightly brush her forehead Alex twisted herself so that her head was placed more firmly between his neck and shoulder. It was a place she could stay in forever and she almost wished she could but she knew that at some point real life was going to claw its way through and ruin everything...it was only a matter of time. So, of course the best thing to do was enjoy the sensation of comfort for as long as it lasted.
”Would you like to go for a walk? You can tell me about your day. Or night ha-ha.” Hearing about how he was would help keep her mind off of the negative and onto the positive, which was what she wanted right now. ”I’m sure you’re tired of hearing me blubber.” Knowing he would just deny it she left the sentence alone at that. No need to start debating over if someone was tired of listening.

Brodir sat there cradled next to Alex wishing there was more that he could do for her. Though he got the feeling that just being here for her was helping. Still he wished he could do more. Like say hunt down and kill whoever was responsible. I keep coming back to that he thought to himself, perhaps I am just unaccustomed to consoling people in this manner. Still a little revenge might not hurt. Though that would be for Alex to decided.
Brodir once again shook the violent thoughts from his head. He continued to sit there next to Alex, hugging her close. Finally Alex broke the silence with a suggestion to take a walk. Brodir would be up for that he decided, it doesn't take much effort to walk and if it helped Alex he was more than happy to do it. He was here for her after all. He wondered if she had a specific destination in mind or if she just wanted to walk. Though given her usual free-spirited nature Brodir assumed the latter. But they say these day's it is better not to assume things.
Brodir turned to Alex and said to her, "Sure, I would love to go for a walk with you." Brodir removed his arm from around Alex's shoulder and stood up. He turned around and offered Alex a hand up, "Where would you like to walk to? Or shall we just walk? Whatever you choose is fine with me." Again he was here for her. Though Brodir cannot recall the last time he had put someone else's feeling ahead of his own this much. Brodir wondered what this meant, if anything? Perhaps Brodir cared about Alex more than he realized or perhaps more than he was willing to admit to himself.

Alex sent him a grateful smile as he offered her his hand. When she finally stood up she pulled his coat tighter around herself in an effort to hide any damage that was done to her clothes. She didn’t really have to think about his question since the idea of a walk was just something so she could get her mind somewhere else. So she didn’t really have anywhere in particular that she wanted to go. ”I don’t have anything in mind. Where would you like to go?” To be honest she didn’t really care, as long as it was farther away from this place.
Shivering a little she looked up at the sky, she never was good at telling time by it but she had to imagine it was getting pretty late...or early in this case. ”If you need to get back you can...I’ll be fine.” She was determined to be now; she couldn’t let someone win like this. Though she was sure it was easier said than done, she was still going to try her best.
Taking a quick look around Alex made sure no one was near. She hadn’t realized before but this wasn’t really how she wanted people to see her. This wasn’t how she wanted Brodir to see her...but he hadn’t run away yet, right? That had to mean something, she wasn’t sure why but she actually found herself hoping it did. Alex had no idea what to do about it or what it meant and she found herself freaking out slightly. It had to just be the situation right? This never happened to her. And anyway, he was just being nice. He probably felt sorry for her...yeah that was it. Convincing herself she looked back up at Brodir awaiting his reply.
