It is just getting dark in the Hewson Street Park. It is also about 7 pm in the night just when the last rays of the sun just fade behind the horizon. A fairly slim, young man walked with his hands stuffed in his jean pockets. The human also seems to be much paler then the people who are walking by him and talking among themselves. The 25 year old man walked onward with a smooth stride and with his head held high.
Jason is wearing a brown t-shirt with a griffin on it and a pair of dark blue jeans. On his feet he is wearing tan and brown sneakers that bore no sound as he walked along the cement path of Hewson Street Park.
His golden-brown eyes blinked as he licked his fangs that have been there for about 6 days. Jason Weston watched the mortals that are going onward on their own fate or destiny. The young vampire so wanted to take one down to a dark place to feast, but he is following Brodir's rules in only drinking True Blood. Jason also wondered on what day or time in his second life will his creator/sire teach him to hunt humans or animals. Also, only a few times he sneaked in a feast of animal blood, but never a human...yet.
Jason sighed as he leaned against a gate that boarders the green fields of the park. He easily hid his fangs behind his pale lips as he watched the lives of mortals walk on by him.

A nice walk in the park was just what Xydnei needed. It looked like it was going to be a good night, perfect night for her to clear her head. It’s been a rough couple of days for her. She needed to clear her mind and start over. She had on a simple green dress with her green cloak on top and her hood covering her head. Still afraid she might burn again she waited till it was pitch black outside before taking off her hood.
The only thing that could calm her mood was to sing. As weird as it may be it made her feel better. Not paying attention to her surroundings, she began singing out loud.
“Stale sweat and cinnamon I guess she is frightened most of all Loves to fly but she's scared to fall
She's got scars on the outside Says they're the worst kind And I don't ask She turns the lights out and locks the door
If this is fate count me out And never try Please never try to hold her down
Broken home Broken bones She never told anyone but me And everything seemed make believe
We both ran You can't ever catch horizon Guess that's why we've both been riding so damn long She says she thinks of me as home
If this is fate count me out And never try Please never try to hold her down
Hands on hips and lips to lips I don't know how much someone could take from her
Fourth of July Watch the night sky I'm wondering why the truth ain't so easy this time “
(Ooc: Song is by Ron Pope and it’s called Cinnamon. If this is not allowed please let me know so that I may modify it.)

Jason leaned against the gate and watched mortals walk on by. His brown eyes blinked as he stared around him. He smiled as he heard chatter and then he heard singing that gradually grew louder. It is soothing and calming to him as he fumbled around with his fangs.
The newborn vampire smiled at himself as he closed his eyes before opening them to see Xydnei. He then stood up with head high and strode over to her. "Good evening miss. You have an amazing voice." Jason said when he walked by her side. Also, he did not interrupt her song. He only said his greeting after she finished the splendid song. "I never heard the song before. Who is the write of the song, or is it written by you?" he asked the female vampire politely as he kept walking beside her.

Xydnei took a deep breath after she finished singing. She was starting to feel a little bit better. She heard a voice coming from her side. She looked over to see a man. He seemed kind. Xydnei was always nervous when meeting new people. She was new here and needed to make some friends. After what she had experienced in the past couple of days she needed someone to talk to. She took a deep breath and responded. "Evening and Thank you." She smiled slightly. "The song was not written by me but by a man. It is one of my favorites. I do not remember his name." She paused for a moment. "And how are you on this lovely evening?" Trying to start a conversation, she was curious to know if he was up to no good or if he was just being friendly. She was hoping for friendly. He didn't look like the type to cause trouble. But you can never go by looks these days.

Jason smiled "Your welcome." he said politely as he kept beside the woman. He can sense her as a vampire, but not really her age. That started to make a question in his smart mind on how old Xydnei is right now in her vampire life. All he knows is that he is 6 days old in the vampire world.
Jason then said, "Anyway, I love the song. Its a bit too bad that you forgot the writer's name." golden-brown eyes looked at the female vampire with softness, calmness and patience in them. "My name is Jason Weston, but people in Jamerson Falls call me just Jace. I work as a bar tender at Pete's bar." he said with a soft nod with his brown-haired head. "I am doing fine, just out to people watch." he answered Xydnei's question with perfect truth. He then smiled friendly to her as he shoved his pale hands in his jean's pockets.

"I know, but I promise you that when I remember his name you will be the first to know." Xydnei looked at him and gave a soft smile back. "I'm Xydnei Mystic but you can call me Xyd if you'd like." I'm new here in Jamerson Falls. Just moved a couple of days ago." She pulled the hood of her cloak back and brushed her hand through her dark brown hair so that she can see better. It was dark enough for her to not worry about getting burned again. She was still getting used to being a vampire.
"Pete's Bar, huh?" Xydnei was starting to get comfortable and a little less shy. She wanted to ask him about vampires but she wasn't sure if everyone who lived here knew about it. She was fighting a lot of instincts that any normal vampire had so there was no way of knowing. She has yet to accept the fact that this is who she is now.
"People watching is always fun. I'm out for a stroll myself, wanted some fresh air, clear the mind." She paused for a bit, "So, how do you like being a bar tender?"

Jason nodded as Xyd told him that she will tell him when she finds out the singers name. "That will nice." he said politely as he stared at the mortals that were walking by. His golden-brown gaze made a few giggle or start gossiping about him and how... Oh, yeah. Woman are surely fun to listen to. Jace smiled at them politely before turning to Xyd.
"Nice to meet you, Xyd." he said politely as he nodded softly. "Oh, your new? Well, welcome to Jamerson Falls." he said calmly before whispering, "Maybe, I can take you places that I know of. I have been in this town for... 4 years and 4 months." Jace said to the female vampire.
Pete's bar is a famous place to go to for a drink of beer or to spend time out with friends." Jason told Xydnei."I have been working at Pete's for around 3 years." he said, as he stared around his surroundings.
"Yeah, people watching. Its can be fairly neat, since you can meet strangers or friends. Or you can bump inter another person to start a conversation, like we did... 20 minutes ago." Jace said with a playful wink. "Being a bar tender is a bit interesting. You learn a how to make a lot of different drinks. I know to make around..30 drinks that people ask for, over my carrier at Pete's." the young, male vampire sighed quietly.
He paused to blink at the Xyd. "I just realized that your a vampire. Well, since we never met. How long have you been a vampire for?" he asked softly, unsure he asked correctly or politely.
