Jason stood behind the counter to the bar in Pete's. His golden-brown eyes studied the activity of Pete's, which is doing good...but a bit slow in movement. People are laughing, people are drinking and people are playing bar games. This is much what a bar is always like.
Jason blinked as he stood up from leaning on the counter as a server brought over an order. The 6 day old vampire smiled as he started to make a Bloody Marry. It only took precise movements in his arms and within 2 minutes the drink was ready. It takes a human 3 minutes to make the drink, but Jason is slightly faster at making it. One is he is a vampire and two he has been working as a bar tender for about 3 years. Jason easily shoved the drink over to the server who quickly picked it up before whisking it off to the customer.
Jason then leaned into the back area of the bar, that is where all the shelves are at, which have clean, empty glasses sitting upon them. The immortal watched the bar's activity, as he waited for something to change the night into something exciting.
The young vampire smiled at himself as he watched the satisfied customers that have drinks before themselves. The bar is thriving with Jason's work as he served/make drinks for anyone that orders something off the bar's fabulous, beverage menu.

And here was innocent little Buffy strolling into Pete’s, despite himself, it was his first time here. Had had friends from school who often came out but he was always so busy especially lately. He had been on google searching stuff like ‘I smell good to vampires. What am I?’ or ‘Can you catch sickness’ from vampire bites’, yes, that is exactly what his life consisted of now. Most people just said he was anemic but a couple vampires replied asking where he lived. He knew better than to give his information out so he sent them the address of a bathhouse in Germany. Thinking of it now, he smirked as he felt a tug on his arm.
Buffy turned his face to look at the man who snatched him. “You smell good…” He said and Buffy smiled coyly, “thanks. I get that a lot.” He said before turning and continuing to walk. He got to the bar and saw the bartender leaning on the bar. “May I…” he started but got interrupted by the same vampire who turned him around to face him. He grabbed Buffy’s shoulders and made eye contact. ‘You’ll come outside with me, right?’ the vampire asked him, trying to use his Influence. Buffy raised an eyebrow, “Are you trying to Influence me or whatever that Jedi mind trick is? It doesn’t work on me. I’m too smart for that trick…” Buffy said about to turn around again when the man grabbed him. “Back off…” Buffy said giving him a push.
Of course, the vampire didn’t move. He didn’t know what that was about. Last he checked he had some supernatural strength, that he had no idea where it came from. Maggie attacked him, yet again, and he fought her off only he was just as strong as she was. Now, he seemed to return back to normal. He didn’t know why or what happened to make that so. The man started to lean towards him taking a bigger sniff, Buffy put a hand up to stop his advance but he was waaay stronger. “Why don’t you piss off?” Buffy asked, not pausing for a second just because he wasn’t that strong.

Jason blinked a bit more attentive as a young, looking boy came in. The newborn vampire sniffed as he rubbed his nose on a sleeve as he watched what happened next. His golden-brown eyes blinked slowly as he watched as a vampire tugged the boy to a stop. Jason raised a brow slightly, as he listened to what is happening in his heightened hearing.
Jason stood up form his leaning position as he knew something bad is to happen before his very eyes. The newborn vampire watched as Buffy walked up and was ready to nod politely as Buffy was to order a drink. Then, the other, older vampire took hold of the boy's shoulders. Jason waited to interfere the situation to come to Pete's bar.
The bar tender exited the bar, as felt a situation starting to happen. He slowly, quietly and easily walked up to Buffy and the other vampire. He knew that he is not as strong as the other immortal, but he will try to save the kid."Hey, why don't you leave the boy alone." he said a bit stiffly as he put both hands on his hips, to show that he means business. Jason then blinked a little as he got the smell of Buffy or Fae and tried his best to ignore it. Jason narrowed his eyes on the vampire who is certainly pushing his limits in the bar. One thing for sure, Jason really hates fights that happens outside or inside a bar.

Buffy noticed another come beside him and looked up at him. He was about the same height but had a vampire glow to his skin that easily gave him away. Buffy looked back at the other vampire who pressed up against him and he locked eyes with Jason. Buffy thought they would have a staring match but the rude vampire turned on his heels and started to walk away. Just before Buffy could turn around the vampire pointed to him, “can’t protect you for long…” he said before disappearing into the crowd of unsuspecting humans. Buffy didn’t think he was dumb enough to start something in the middle of the dance floor so he didn’t worry about it. He turned to his knight and smiled, he gave him a pat on the shoulder and kindly asked, “Can I buy you a drink? I appreciate that. It gets really old…” When Buffy first learned about this thing that he was, he liked that vampires thought he smelled good. It wasn’t until they started taking random bites of him that he grew pissed off and angry about it.
He was complete ecstasy to vampires but he had no defense. He had learned that vampires sometimes claimed humans as theirs and it was against vampire law for someone else to bite from said human. Buffy grabbed the vampires hand and walked back over to the bar so they could be out of the traffic jam that was slowly forming. He was friendly enough to grab anyone’s hand, it wasn’t an advance, this time. He smiled at Jason, “I’m Buffy. The least I can do is get you a drink.” He told him. “Some vampires can be…well you know…” Buffy smiled and sat down on the bar stool.

Jason relaxed a little in the other vampire backed down. He glanced Buffy and nodded politely as he glanced after the other vampire who gave a warning before disappearing into the crowded bar. The newborn vampire bit his lip as Buffy patted his shoulder before smiling politely.
"No, I am fine." he said politely as he nodded. "No problem." he nodded to Buffy's thanks for Jace's protectiveness. Golden-brown eyes blinked politely at the Fae and seemed a bit cautious around the young looking man. He did not want to hurt the boy, so he was making sure that he kept a gauge on his abilities and hunger. "You don't really need to buy a drink for me." he told Buffy softly as he glanced at the crowd, unsure when the other vampire will come and fight to hurt Buffy.
Jason looked a little startled when Buffy grabbed his hand. (Uh, okay.) Jace thought to himself as he allowed himself to be pulled to the bar. Jason then was let go and started toward the gate to the bar. He opened the gate with a key that unlocked the small, swinging door before stepping behind the counter. "Names Jason or people around here call me Jace for short. I am really happy to meet you, Buffy." Jace said as he leaned on the backside of the bar area. "Well, I should give you a drink. Since, I am the bar tender." he chuckled softly as he nodded again to show that he under stood the Fae. "What do you want to drink?" he asked as he wiped his pale hands on a towel before glancing to Buffy with a grin upon his smooth lips.

Buffy looked at him, thinking it over and then smiled back at him. “Surprise me…just not a true blood…” Buffy joked. He watched the bartender work, seeing if he made drinks the same way Buffy did. He had to admit that the bartender was kind of cute. He looked familiar but Buffy was sure this was the first time they were meeting. “So where are you from?” Buffy lived here for a year and some odd months and he was already pretty popular. If he’d never met this guy in such a small town like Jamerson Falls then he must have been new. In the back of Buffy’s mind, he wondered if Jason had already been told about him. People talked in small towns and everyone thought Buffy was crazy for saying he could hear people’s thoughts. He trusted one person with that little bit of information and now the whole town knew.
No one asked him to prove it though, he thought maybe they were scared to discover he was telling the truth. “I’m Buffy by the way.” Buffy told Jason extending his hand. .

"Okay." Jace smiled as he took down a glass. He started to make some drink with whiskey in it. It is strong and a bit sweet, and it is one of the most requested drink in Pete's. After a minute of shaking up the drink, before putting it into huge glass. He then easily slid it toward Buffy with a soft shove at the glass. The glass slid and nicely bumped into Buffy. "Enjoy." Jason said politely before leaning against the back of the bar area.
His golden-brown eyes blinked softly as Buffy starts asking somethings. "I was from Paso Robles, but I moved here about 3-4 years ago. The newborn vampire ignored the urge to be near Buffy, since he already had a bottle of the Japan, produced-fake blood.
He then heard the young man's name as Buffy. (Buffy, have I heard of him?) Jace asked himself. "Are you the waiter or bar tender in the cafe in town?" he asked politely. "Anyway, I am Jason or people in the bar or town call me just Jace for short." the newborn vampire said politely.

The glass hit Buffy’s hand and he turned his attention to his drink, his eyes were on Jace while he was making it. “Thanks…” he said recognizing the drink. He put it up to his lips and took a long sip before putting it down and smiling at Jace. “It’s good Jace. I like this.” He smiled at the bartender. When Jace asked if he was a bartender, Buffy was taking another drink. “Yes…” He said putting hand on his chest trying to hurry up and take a swallow so he could speak. His eyes darted around Pete’s, “you know this is my first time here. I usually don’t have a lot of time to come but my friends invited me out.” Buffy told him. “And I see you’ve heard of me. I don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.” Buffy was a good bartender so he wasn’t too worried about it but he thought a little harmless flirting was in order.
The boy could flirt with a door if he was drunk enough. “So, Jace you have a girlfriend or are you just playing the field now?” Buffy asked, taking a seat at the bar and leaning closer. He slipped off his jacket, dressed in a fishnet shirt with a t-shirt underneath. “So, what have you heard about me exactly?” Buffy mused.

Jason Weston listened to Buffy as he leaned against the shelf of empty, clean glasses. The vampire kept scanning the crowd again and again, hoping that the older vampire will not show his face again. If he will show his face to Jason, the newborn vampire will do his best to help protect Buffy from being hurt.
"I am glad that you like the drink. It took me a while to do the right way to make it. It really took me... almost a year to learn it." he said politely. "Knowing you already can be bad or good, but I promise that it is good with me. Other vampires might be a bit bad that they know who you are." he told Buffy politely. He has seen a few times, in the bar, some vampires hurt mortals or others that they are interested in. Anyway, it was during his mortal years in Pete's and in the town. Jace kept listening to Buffy speak.
"Well, I do have a few girlfriends. I only have one that I am fully attached to." he told Buffy. "Her name is Kathy and comes to the bar about 3 times per week to be with me, personally." he said politely and sighed. "I think, that she thinks that I am dead and missing." he told Buffy as he scanned the bar's area again.
"What I have heard about you? Well, I have heard that you work at the Fall's Cafe. People also said that your good with your services." the newborn vampire said as he nodded politely. His golden-brown eyes blinked. "Do you know Brodir?" he asked with interest.

Buffy looked around the bar to see if his friends had arrived yet. Granted, they cancelled on him at the last minute but he was sure that they would just arrive later. He pulled out his Iphone and sent a quick text in response telling them that he’d just wait for them. After sending his text message, he put his phone back away and looked at the bartender. He knew off bat that he was a vampire, he didn’t know how he knew but it was just something that seemed. Meaning something that was obvious yet unspoken, like the fact that buffy was wearing black skinny jeans. Vampire or not, Buffy had to admit how incredibly hot this guy was. His brown hair seemed almost effortlessly perfect and he had the brightest smile, inviting even. “Well here’s to a year’s perfection…” Buffy smiled and raised his glass, taking another swig. It was sweet but not too sweet and a little tart but he liked it. Could easily be his new favorite drink.
Buffy slightly tensed when Jason mentioned that he could be good or bad, he was aware of his vampirism and although he wasn’t on guard before he was now. It was sad that such a small thing could set him off. When Jason said he would be good, Buffy relaxed. “You won’t believe how many vampires choose bad. Especially one.” He said thinking of Maggie. It made him sick how she was always after him. “Why would your gf think that something has happened to you? What did you do?” He asked him. He took another sip of his drink as he heard Jason answer his other question. “I am good at what I do. A people person. I get good tips if that’s supportive to the argument…” Buffy said, trying his best NOT to flirt. He made a nervous giggle then found that he was completely mystified buy his shoes and looked down. “Brodir?” he asked, his head shooting up.
“Yeah, I know Brodir…he was the first vampire I really knew.” Buffy laughed. Little did Jason know that he had a crush on Brodir. “Why? How do you know him?” Brodir was also the first to learn of Buffy’s little trick of reading minds.

Jason nodded as Buffy toasted to him. It always made him blush when people toasted to him, but now he can't really blush. So, the only sign of blush is him looking down at his feet for a few seconds before standing more upright. His golden brown eyes blinked as he stared politely at the Fae.
Jason looked down again, "Well, my gf will think that...that I am dead. It is a bit of a long story. Well, I will tell you that I was fighting with drunk men who were raping her in an alleyway. I... was beaten quite badly. My liver was cut, by a large dagger. Anyway, my gf thinks that I am dead. Brodir came by and offered to change me. I agreed to be come a vampire. So, Brodir is my creator or sire." Jason told Buffy. "That is why I think my gf thinks of me dead because the last time she saw me, I was bleeding to death." he finally stopping as he looked downward.
Brodir mde me a vampire...5 days ago. Actually, 2 days if you minus the 3 days in the the earth or grave." Jace said to the Fae. He sighed softly as he scanned the bar, hoping that the other vampire will not show up again.

Buffy just smiled as Jason blushed. Who knew a vampire could even blush? He knew it would be bad to flirt but seeing as how he was now his knight in shining armor, why not? Buffy took another long sip from his drink, looking at Jason the whole time. A little harmless flirting never hurt anyone, it wasn’t like he was going to touch him…before he asked. When he started on the story of how he was turned, Buffy got a sick feeling in his stomach and almost spat out his drink. What he did for his girlfriend was undying loyalty, and here he was trying to flirt with the poor guy, it was enough to make Buffy want to turn away and just go home. Maybe he could pop a movie in or something? Enjoy a nice quiet evening alone. It was weird that the young vampire had such good self-control. But maybe Buffy could use that to his advantage? Buffy needed what one would call a sponser in the human world. One vampire who had free access to his blood and all other vampires weren’t allowed to bite him. In exchange, Buffy would be safe around other vampires. But how does one ask something like that. His thoughts returned to the current conversation, “that’s awful…you should tell her your alive. I’m sure she loves you and misses you a lot.” Buffy told him.
He extending a hand and put it on Jason’s bicep. Consequently, he wasn’t flirting, he was touched and just seemed like the right thing to do. He pulled his hand back without so much of a wink and kept listening to his story. Brodir. Buffy had many things to say about Brodir but he kept them to himself. Jason would be loyal to him and that may mean Intel also. “I’m sorry you had to die but I hope you find vampirism sustaining?” He asked. He didn’t really know what to say beyond that. What does one say to something like that. “That’s why you have such sad eyes…” Buffy told him looking at him with a kind smile. Those were the kinds of eyes one could very easily get lost in, he turned away and took another sip of his drink, embarrassed that he had let himself, quite literally, get lost in the vampires eyes.

Jason took a clean towel out and wiped away the drink that Buffy spitted out. A friendly smile played on his lips as he saw Buffy go into emotions. Mortals sort of surprise him, since he is a newly changed vampire. Vampirism is all a new feeling to him which has another look in society that mortals have.
"I am still thinking of how to approach her. She is a bit frightened of vampires. A lot of mortals are a bit frightened of them, except a few that want to be always with a vampire." he said politely. His golden-brown eyes blinked as he examined the surrounding crowd.
Jason then sighed as he looked at Buffy who asked him a question "Vampirism is a bit different then being a mortal." he told the fae politely. "I also know that Brodir scan be watching me anytime. He also warns me to never taken any mortal's blood. I only use True Blood as a main source of food." he sighed softly. He then looked at Buffy again, who ultimately got caught in Jason's golden-brown eyes.
Jason quickly looked down, not wanting to use glamor on the fae. Once Buffy recovered he stammered. "Are.. are you alright? " he asked softly, not wanting to hear that he used glamor on Buffy. He also hoped that Buffy did not get sidetracked in Jason's eyes.

Buffy just watched Jason, his eyes on his mouth seeing if he could see his fangs retract or nay hint that might indicate his hunger. Jason seemed fine around him but Buffy didn’t want to over stay his welcome. His thoughts went to Jason’s girlfriend. “I don’t think she will mind too much that you’re a vampire.” He told him. “She loves you, I doubt she would mind. Plus, you seem like a good enough guy.” He smiled slyly. “You can still be with her, it’s all about how you plan on telling her. With the vampire craze Twilight and stuff going on, you should be fine.” He smiled and turned around to look at all the people around him before looking back at Jason. “I’m having a Halloween party on Hallow’s Eve. Why don’t you invite her? Meet her there and talk. If not, I’d still like you to come.” He told Jason.
When Jason noticed and commented on Buffy looking into his eyes, Buffy got a deep blush. “Sorry. Your eyes are just…” Buffy started to say looking into them again. It was impossible to Influence Buffy. He was a psychic, just as impossible as it was to read a vampires thoughts.
