Alex walked through the mall, her arms wrapped tightly around her and her eyes darting in every direction. This was the first time since the attack that she was leaving her house alone, most of the time she’d call a friend or just not go out. But today she decided to make different, she had to learn that she could go out by herself. Even though it was only a small step since the mall was quite crowded, it was still something. Realizing that she probably looked like some crazy drunk she dropped her arms and tried to focus her eyes on where she was walking. No one was going to be able to come near her without someone else seeing it and hopefully doing something. Chanting it over and over in her head Alex took a deep breath and stepped into the store.
She had come for a couple of new shirts, mostly out of the fact that so many people said shopping helped. ”But remember Alex, they can’t be expensive.” Recently she had put money down on a new car and couldn’t really afford to spend much more on herself. ”Not unless you want to pay rent this month.” Making herself laugh a little, Alex travelled along the racks of shirts, not really sure what she was looking for. Though soon realizing that there were only male shirts she raised her eyes and looked around. She was certain she went to the right store but as her eyes travelled around there really were only guy’s clothes. ”Oh wow Alex; you need to get your mind in check.” It almost made her want to roll her eyes at herself. But she had to figure she already looked off enough so turning around she went back to going through the shirts until she could make an escape without seeming off.

It wasn't very often to see Charles walking around the mall, especially not by himself. He was normally dragged around by the girl he was seeing at the time or in with his mates to buy some games. But because he hadn't been with a girl properly in the while, he thought that he might as well go out and by some new clothes for himself. He had the money too anyway. Running a hand through his dark brown hair, his eyes scanned around the shops, every so often touching the rails to have a closer look at something. Charles wasn't ever really sure how to describe his style, he would just buy something if he liked the look of it. Listening to the sound of his footsteps hit against the ground beneath him, he looked in front of him to see a shop that he liked the look of. 'Mmm, I'll go look in there quickly. See if there's any nice pieces of clothing.'
As he made his way over to the shop, his eyes quickly darted over over to the donut stand not far away from him. The smell ran up is nice and made his stomach grumble. 'Maybe I should get something to eat after this, after all it is after lunch now.' And without realising he was still walking in the same direction and before he knew it his body collided with someone else's. In a flash the persons life flashed in his mind, he could feel the pain they had went through, see everything they saw. Sometimes he didn't really like it, especially if they had a horrible history. Shaking his head softly, he looked down at the girl with an apologetic smile. "I'm so sorry miss. I got completely got side tracked. Are you alright?" He generally felt bad, he just hoped that he didn't hurt the girl. Charles stood there looking down at her, staring into her eyes he realised how gorgeous they were as he waited for her to reply.

Still standing at the rack Alex got lost in her own thoughts not really paying attention to things around her, which she figured out after wasn’t a very smart idea for it didn’t take long for someone to walk into her. Stumbling back a few steps she got her balance before looking up at the person who bumped her. ”Don’t worry about it.” Through the time he was talking her eyes never made contact with his. She used to be a straight forward person and made a point of keep eye contact. It was this thought that had her forcing herself to look up at him. He was quite the looker but at this point that wasn’t really the first thing on her mind.
”Yes, I’m alright.” She said smiling lightly at him, trying her best to be friendly. ”It’s easy to get turned around in this place.” A light laugh escaped her throat. The statement was very true, the mall here was very large and could end up being confusing. Giving the guy a quick once over she decided he kind of reminded her of someone but couldn’t quite place it. Figuring it was worth checking out she gave him another smile though she was sure it didn’t quite spread to her eyes. She didn’t get many of those now a days. ”I’m Alex, it’s nice to meet you.” Considering shaking his hand she decided it would be better to wait to see what he did. Some people didn’t like such contact, now that was something she could understand. OCC; sorry it's not so great, next one will be better!

Charles noticed that the girl didn't look back into his eyes, it seemed like she was forcing herself to look at him, this made him raise an eye brow slightly before he got rid of it and listened to her talk. A sigh of relief left his lungs as he nodded softly, "Ah, that's good. I really should keep an eye out." He chuckled softly under his breath, it was true, the mall was massive, you either get lost in it or bump into people without even realising. His eyes continued to stay on the girl, she started to look at his face more which he was glad about because he knows that if someone doesn't look at you, they don't really want to speak to you. Hearing her name, he smiled warmly, "Nice to meet you Alex, I'm Charles."
She was a pretty girl who didn't look confident about herself at all, he knew he wouldn't be able to say certain things because that could offend her or make her not want to talk to her. Charles loved meeting new people, he liked finding things out about people, he liked meeting different people. "So, what were you doing before I rudely bumped into you?" He grinned softly, hoping that the girl actually wanted to stop and talk to him, otherwise he would feel bad for wasting her time.
OOC: Sorry for taking so long and sorry for it being rubbish! [/blockquote]
