Early, one Friday morning, Tinsley rolled out of bed while glaring at her alarm clock and moved a hand to shut it off. This was nothing new to her, but she still hated being woken from a sound night's sleep and frowned eventually. When getting out of bed she tried not to slow herself down, or waste to much time in preparation for work. Mainly because she didn't want to be late, and she couldn't remember the last time she had been late to work. It was no secret that most establishments frown on that kind of thing, and she didn't want to loose her job as well. After taking a shower, getting dressed and skipping breakfast, Tinsley zoomed out the front door of her apartment. The hard part is over. She mused a thought all on her own for a rare moment, smiling and then sighed when eying the elevator. A few thoughts poured in while people exited the elevator, and even when she entered the elevator with a few others. Tinsley practiced a ritual of focusing on her breath, she was going to need it for when she finally arrived for work as she exited the building. It was kind of funny, in a sad way, that no matter what the time was, there were always strange and hurtful thoughts.
Tinsley speed-walked toward her old clunker of a care, got in and started the engine before driving off. She didn't even want to look at the clock, located above the radio and concentrated on driving before finally arriving at the cafe. She then hurried out of her car and entered the cafe through the side door for employee's, soon finding herself behind the counter. All she really had to do now was: DEAL with customers and thoughts for a grueling hour upon hour until her shift was over. Nothing that she wasn't used to, and placed on a "happy" face of being a worker bee, of being normal in society. Speaking of customers, it didn't take long for anyone to show up and so, Tinsley spoke. "Welcome, to the Falls Cafe. What can I get you?" Briefly after speaking, the person before her had some lewd thoughts about the previous night, and soon they transpired into a image. Ew. She tried to glance around and then, she looked ahead of her before looking down at the register. Swiftly punching in a order before going to make it for the woman, when she wished to have something to start her day off before going about her own normal life. For once, Tisley was thankful to hear someone else and their thoughts. ANYTHING to scrub out what she had just seen. It was enough to make her blush and then some.
Thankfully, that happened when hearing the voice of a man and his thoughts; complaining about his boss. Once she finished making the order for her customer, she placed a tray down on the counter before sliding it over to her with what she ordered. After taking down a few quick orders and passing them out, Tisley found herself staring at a older looking gentleman and awaited to see what he would order. Out of curiosity, she stole a glance toward the clock hanging on the wall. No, she didn't have to be anywhere but it was surprising to her that not much time had passed, especially with all of her work. Tisley then looked ahead of her and realized that she didn't exactly repeat the basic line of "welcome," so she shuffled into it. "Er-. Sorry. Welcome to the Falls Cafe. What can I get you?"

Being a werewolf has its perks. You're stronger and faster than the average human being, often even more so than many of the younger vampires, and you have a fantastic sense of hearing and smell. Aging, or so Levi had been told, was also slower than that of a human, not that he had met many werewolves who had been turned more than ten years ago. Most seemed to get themselves killed or commit suicide by then, which wasn't a comforting thought for someone who was part way through their ninth year as a werewolf. Just as importantly, it was bloody hard work to push yourself to your limits and stay there when you were a werewolf. Once, in order to really hurt, Levi would have to run twenty kilometres in under two hours with thirty-two kilograms of equipment. Nowadays he could do forty kilometres with sixty-two kilograms in the same time and feel fine, if a little out of breath, at the end of the run. Of course, he always told everyone that he only did ten kilometres with twenty kilograms of weight in his backpack. He wasn't that stupid.
All that running worked up an appetite, though, and Levi chose to eat at the Falls Cafe, a great little place where people didn't question his ordering of four sausages, six rashers of bacon, two hashbrowns, four pieces of toast and four eggs for breakfast at exactly 7:30 each and every morning the cafe was open. It had formed part of Levi's routine for almost six years now, and he had, against his better judgement, relaxed a little. The first three years he'd mixed things up a little, rarely going to the cafe more than once every three weeks but, as he'd managed to get the wolf and his natural paranoia under control, Levi had managed to settle into the routine. This was Jamerson Falls, New Jersey, not Balibo, East Timor, after all.
The waitress today was a pretty young blonde, probably no more than twenty two or twenty three and was definitely human, despite the strong smell of strawberries that emanated from her. The wolf barely gave her a passing thought and focused on the smell of hot, fatty bacon and sausages wafting from the kitchen. It growled in anticipation, forcing Levi to give a short, low rumble that was all but impossible for human ears to hear. He had less control over the wolf when he was hungry, but it was still better than most weres, who would be showing some sign of hunger or annoyance at the waitress as she ignored him and looked at the clock.
"Er-. Sorry. Welcome to the Falls Cafe. What can I get you?"
Levi smiled his usual broad, cheery smile and showed no trace of impatience of hunger, mentally growling at his wolf and forcing it to back down a little.
"Could I get four sausages, six rashers of bacon, two hashbrowns, four pieces of toast and four eggs please? And, I know that I've told the cook a few times before, but do you think that you could get him to heap it all up on a single plate? I hate having plates scattered all over the table."
At the memory of having three different plates brought out to him yesterday, Levi's wolf pushed for Levi to be more forceful and demand that everything be brought out on one plate. Running out of patience with his wolf, Levi yelled at it in his best drill sergeant's voice, while keeping his external appearance just as bright and cheerful as it had been a second ago.
-Alright you mangy mutt, I've had enough of your bullshit! I'm the one in control here. Me! If you don't like it, then get the FUCK out of me head. Got it?-
The wolf growled at Levi and snapped at him, but he could feel it lower its tail and body and back off a few paces. It wasn't happy with his outburst or his actions, but it wouldn't interfere with his emotions and thoughts for a little while, at least.

Whenever the stranger bore a smile, Tinsley gave one back until looking at the register and waited for him to speak. Though, she could swear that a sharp growl had been made, but that was silly? Sure, she heard some strange and hurtful things before, but nothing like what she thought she heard. Tinsley supposed that her mind was playing tricks on her. The idea didn't seem to far fetched when reminding herself of one basic thing, that she could hear the thoughts of others. Luckily, she didn't have to wait long for the stranger to make a order, and she could forget all about what happened when her fingertips nearly tripped over themselves. Her smile eventually faded, but not her nice demeanor as she nodded to finishing the order, looking back up and more towards a eye level position. Wow, that was a lot of food. Especially for one man to eat! She had to wonder how he kept fit and shook her forehead to that rolling of feelings, suddenly opening her lips. "Coming right up and I'll see what I can do about the plates." Now, onto the grand total of how much this meal was going to be costing, when she ripped off the receipt and laid it on the counter. "Totals going to be fifteen dollars, and thirty cents."
Briefly after that moment is when Tinsley picked up something again, a memory; then a presences of a wolf. That wasn't normal. Heck, even she, herself was not normal and neither were vampires, but he wasn't a vampire. It was broad daylight and not the middle of the night that Tinsley blinked, all in order to keep from jumping to how the man's voice sounded. As much as she would have liked to figure out what just happened, she couldn't stand around with a blank stare and awkwardly chuckled. Tinsley silently noted that someone else would take his money, then moved and turned to go toward the back to give the cook an order she just received. From there, she managed to find out at least one thing that she didn't know before. Picking up on the thoughts of the cook, that had been with the cafe for a long time now. The stranger that she had just met was a regular of sorts. She cleared her throat for a bit of focus and spoke. "He wants everything on one plate." Once that was established, Tinsley helped deliver other items upfront to give a helping hand.
It also served to keep her busy and so did a few thoughts of the other patrons. It was almost to bad that there wasn't a way to make money off her talent, she could retire and never have to lift a finger. Though, she figured she would get bored. Not to mention, letting others know about her ability scared her. She liked reading detective novels, but she also liked to watch t.v. and her imagination ran wild. She didn't want to be poked or prodded, or locked in a box for a study on why she was different. Tinsley then went around back and into the kitchen, checking with the cook to see if the order was ready. Sure enough, it was! She also had to stare at the collection of food for a moment, labeling it as "interesting." Like a feast. Damn, the plate was kind of heavy when she picked it up and began to carry it. Though, that complaint went off to the side, when approaching the stranger to give him the meal. However, Tinsley soon made the mistake of gathering a comment to the encounter between them. A really, really, big goof of a mistake. "That's a lot of food, you must eat like a wolf."

The waitress smiled back and then took her order. Levi wasn't halfway through when the smile started to fade and a mixture of amazement and puzzlement started to show. The waitress was good, she didn't lose any of her pleasant manner, but he could tell that she was wondering how he could eat some much and not be one of those blubbery people who took up two chairs when they sat down. She'd have probably raised an eyebrow if he had been human anyway, he'd long ago learned to eat as much as he could when he could, but this went beyond human proportions.
"Coming right up and I'll see what I can do about the plates."
Levi smiled gratefully and nodded his head, "Thanks for that, I appreciate it."
Pulling out a twenty from his wallet, Levi placed it on the counter and replaced the wallet in his pocket. He was about to tell the waitress to keep the change, but she seemed to have spaced out. Her eyes were staring blankly ahead, looking right through Levi. He was just about to ask if she was okay when the waitress seemed to recover herself and blinked, looked at him and chuckled awkwardly. Her scent had changed, and Levi could tell that something had confused her, but he wasn't sure what the problem was. She was, so far as his nose could tell, 100% pure human and should have been incapable of picking him up. If she had smelt of witchcraft and magic then Levi might have been worried and, in truth he was still a little suspicious, but he figured that the waitress was either tired, although he couldn't sense any weariness or that she was, for the lack of a better term, a little simple.
Levi watched the waitress turn away and head off to the kitchen, so he left the note on the counter and strolled over to the counter, listening in on the waitress' conversation with the cook and resisting the urge to smile at the cook's description of Levi's request. Sometimes it seemed as though the two of them were playing a game and seeing who would crack first, and then other days it just seemed as though the cook was really bored and put the food on different plates just so that the cafe seemed busier. The wolf didn't like it much, the game was too close to a dominance competition for it to like the game, but Levi kept the wolf on a short leash and it was generally contented after it had eaten.
Eventually the waitress brought the huge plate of food out, and Levi followed the sound of her footsteps and the smell of the food right from the kitchen out to his table, eyes closed and head tilted back contemplatively. Levi smiled as she set it down on the table and had just thank her when she made a comment that upset his entire day.
"That's a lot of food, you must eat like a wolf."
The wolf had been looking for an excuse to come back to the front of Levi's mind and it played on the waitresses' spaceout and confusion earlier, suggesting that she knew his secret. The wolf was cunning, though, because it didn't just suggest that Levi should go on the offensive, it flashed images and feelings from past full moons, where he had chased down and killed a brown bear or where he had killed three deer before the herd even knew what had happened. It played back the thrill of the chase, the pleasure of tearing out a living creature's throat, the joy of having hot, red blood in one's mouth and dripping off one's muzzle...
Levi's eyes changed from brown to green as the wolf came to the front and the right side of his face twitched as a snarl threatened to appear. Breathing in deeply and almost literally swallowing the breath, Levi brought himself under control and smiled just as he had before.
"Yeah, I've got a pretty big appetite."

Upon realizing the goof that fell from her mouth, and into the open, she tried to fix things. Such as blaming the comment to be nothing more then a joke, and that it was harmless as well. Tinsley thought it was perfect to avoid suspicion, but she didn't get a chance to try. Simply put, the window of opportunity never opened as suddenly a collection of gruesome images, and feelings began to fill her brain. All of the content had spanned out toward the past full moons, covering the "art" of killing large and small prey as if they were nothing. As well as having a thrill over hunting in general, via a spill of hot and red blood pouring out and drenching the muzzle. Tinsley then mentally cringed at the sight of droplets, as they eventually collected and dripped off of the muzzle. Instinctively from there, she placed her right palm onto her throat as if to protect it, as well as to try and hold in all of her shock. However, holding in her emotion such as sock and feeling sicken had unknowingly failed. Tinsley had thought for a brief moment that she could try a spaced out look, but that wasn't working.
Her stare felt trapped in looking toward the man, who added one more thing onto the pile. His eyes visually changed color! How in the hell was that possible? Tinsley replayed the way his eyes changed from brown into a green hue, and blinked her eyelashes while he smiled. Though from what she could tell, it seemed like a struggle to do so and of course, a comment was made about the appetite. The last nail in the coffin had been drilled in toward running away, but she didn't want to loose her job. That fact was in the back of her mind, but whenever you are scared, logic can fly out the window. Even though Tinsley probably had other work related things to do, it certainly didn't stop her from turning away from the man before her. As well as taking a moment to speed walk toward the kitchen, deciding to take that area for a safety zone and tried to appear "normal." Tinsley removed the palm from her throat and quickly crossed her arms against her chest for just a moment, while trying to get over being disturbed.
However, it was now more then difficult then ever to focus, and Tinsley ended up holding her forehead. The reason for that centered on a rush of thoughts flooding into her brain, some were from the kitchen staff and a few were from the patrons. Tinsley tried to focus on her breathing in order to feel calm, and to block further intrusions out. After a long while of standing around, and perhaps looking strange to others, Tinsley quickly made up an excuse for the behavior. "Just a-. Well, a really bad headache. I-. I'm fine. Really. Guess I should get back out there to still have a job." A forced chuckle passed her lips when letting go of her forehead, and from there she silently gulped and made up her mind to actively avoid the strange man that had her more then terrified. Tinsley emerged from the kitchen at long last, and appeared behind the counter to attempt working. Though, she couldn't help but glance around the room, trying to see if anyone noticed how she walked away. How abrupt and possibly weird that looked. Then again, she was being paranoid. Plus, she didn't get any thoughts that picked on her from the previous rush. Paranoid.
Tinsley faked a weak smile and then looked right ahead of her, a customer appeared. The time called for sinking or swimming to live, and she was now stuck with a memory of her own. Whenever she was thirteen she had decided to tell her family that something wasn't right with her, that she could read the minds of others. Moments before, she felt under pressure and full of paranoia that her family knew her secret. Tinsley snapped out of her daze, probably in the knack of time and got to work, via letting her fingertips punch in the order on the register. Of course, that wasn't the only moment in her life that she had been paranoid, but it manage to make her guarded over the years. His eyes. I know I-. saw something! What-. What was that, really? I-I-.... never want to see it again. Ever. Damn. Try as she might to NOT think about the strange man, she did and hated that. One customer down, another one to go as someone else stepped up but Tisnley decided to look at the wall clock to check the time. Damn, again, time moved slow. Tinsley looked down toward the register and like a robot, punched in the order before turning to move and take a plate toward a table. Leaving someone else to collect the customer's money, because she probably wouldn't get back in time. Sure enough, that assumption was right as she was stuck cleaning off a table. Sadly, you can't avoid someone forever; they usually run into you and leave you with little options. Wasn't that right?

The waitress should have asked Levi if he was alright, or give him a slight look of concern. She was only human, so his internal struggle should have seemed as though he was suppressing some kind of pain or another to her. So, when the waitress clasped her right hand to her throat and began to reek of fear Levi knew that all was not well. Her eyes opened wide in horror, and her pupils dilated. Everything, from her breathing to her heart rate picked up considerably, almost as though she was having a panic attack. No, that wasn't right, the waitress had too much control. She was hiding her true feelings.
Levi's wolf growled, and a slight rumble escaped Levi's smiling lips. It sensed the weakness and wanted to go in for the kill. He could stand up, break her neck and be out of the cafe in under ten seconds if he had to. It would be so easy. All he had to do was reach up, grab her head and then sweep her feet out from under her as he stood up. It was so much easier to break a neck that way. Or he could grab her head, yank it back and tear out her throat. Human teeth weren't ideal, but they'd do the job. And human did taste good, like really tender pork. Sweet, juicy pork.
The spell was broken when the waitress turned abruptly and walked away. Levi resisted the urge to watch her go and stared down at his food, licking his lips. His hand was shaking as he picked up his fork and began to eat. If he'd been alone, Levi would have shoveled the food into his mouth, barely chewing it before he swallowed, but he was out in the open. Slowly, precisely, he began to eat his enormous meal, hands still shaking from the exertion required to stop himself from going into the back of the cafe and killing the poor waitress. Even now he could hear her explaining that she had a headache.
As Levi ate and gained more control over his wolf, his eyes slowly reverted back to brown. Truth be told, Levi was a little shaken up himself. He hadn't come close to losing himself in a good while, and this time he'd almost done it in public. The waitress' fear and the shocked look on her face had made her suddenly seem appetizing, and not in a sexual way. Levi had felt that way before, one time even more strongly than right now, but he'd know what had set him off. This time, though, the trigger was unknown.
Still eating, although slightly more rapidly now that he had better control of himself, Levi thought back to when when he had entered the cafe in an attempt to find out what had gone wrong. He replayed the events, matching his thoughts and actions to the actions of the waitress. He missed it at first, but on the second replay Levi came to the realisation that the waitress had acted odd whenever his wolf had come to the front of his mind. First, when he'd yelled at his wolf to back down, the waitress had spaced out and then, when his wolf had wanted to kill her, she'd suddenly looked horrified and had smelled of fear. He wasn't sure why there was a correlation, and he wasn't convinced that his thoughts were the cause, but there was definitely something out of the ordinary.
So, what to do? Well, right now, there really wasn't anything that Levi could do except his his breakfast and leave. The waitress was avoiding him, and he could still smell her fear. The longer he stayed here, the more likely she would break down or he would lose control. He'd have to leave the cafe and try to pick up her scent. If he knew where she parked her car or caught her bus, he could stake it out and see if she did anything unusual. The problem was, he had no idea when the waitress got off, or how long it would take to find her home. He was going to have to call in sick, a first for him, and hope that none of the guys from the shop, or their wives, say him down the street. Levi's stomach growled and he added another step to his list as he looked down at his empty plate. He needed to get some more food, the cheaper the better.
Sliding his cutlery together and putting it off to one side on the plate, Levi wiped his mouth on a serviette and casually left the cafe. He had a lot of groundwork to do, and an unknown amount of time to do it. He needed to get cracking.
OOC: Cutting to when Tinsley leaves the cafe might be a good idea at this point.

In the future, Tinsley hoped to avoid crossing paths with the stranger that terrifed and disturbed her at the same time. Via trying to change her work schedule at a later date, and with that promise in mind to bug her boss, she zoomed out the front door of the cafe. At that point, nothing could make her look back toward the cafe when gaining her freedom for the day. Honestly hoping that a schedule change would work for the best, despite knowing the stranger was a regular of sorts. While standing in the middle of the sidewalk, Tinsley knew that she didn't have the nerve to drive home yet and that irked her. After work she typically headed back toward her apartment to relax, and to make plans for the rest of the day. Her routine had been disrupted by something she didn't even understand, and that basic feeling could irk anyone; she was sure of that much. Tinsley's left set of fingertips played with the purse strap hanging from her right shoulder, giving her something to focus on while taking a stroll down the block. She was at least thankful to have a couple seconds of clarity to skim through things, because it wouldn't be long until the thoughts of others entered her brain. Tinsley ceased her fingertips from playing with the purse strap and placed her hand down into her purse.
Her fingertips then combed through her purse, nervously trying to find her cellphone. "It's not there? Damn it." Tinsley murmured her comments within a upset kind of hiss and placed her hand away from her bag, letting it hang at her side. It would have been nice to have her cellphone in order to surf the web, trying to get some kind of clue of what she previously encountered. Tinsley shook her forehead when remembering where she had left the phone, it was at home and on the coffee table. Then again, she felt a little dumb that the wide web could hope to give her some kind of answer. To hell with that, she didn't really know what happened to be real, until something jumped out at her. Tinsley sighed and eventually slowed down in her pace, coming to a stop when eying both sides of the street. A few cars managed to zoom down the street before it looked safe to pass, now seizing the opportunity to cross the street quickly. Once she made it to the other side and onto the sidewalk, she was sure that she didn't want to think about what happened anymore. Tinsley just wanted to walk, to feel calm enough to turn back soon and greet her car. However, just as she picked up her pace to walk again for a small while, it felt like someone was following her. Sure enough, she managed to pick up on the thought and it left her with a label. Stalker.
Don't look back, don't look back. She looked back. That was probably the worse thing you could ever do; looking back. However, that was instinct for some individuals being faced with something like that. Ok, not a big deal. Do what the movies do. Loose the guy. Tinsley looked forward and continued to walk, taking a few twists and turns. Loosing someone was easier said, then it was done and she was coming to that conclusion. In fact, she was starting to wonder just what she was doing wrong. Maybe she needed to do another "wrong" thing, via stopping and confronting the stalker? No. Bad idea. Tinsley shook her forehead and continued to walk, while also thinking that it may be a good idea to "duck" into a store. Again, the movie mentality. To be fair, she had never gotten into a situation like this before. Guess there was a first time for everything. Although, stamina was never a problem in the movies, everyone seemed to be on top and they never tired. Tinsley on the other hand, was starting to wonder how long she could walk, or how far it would take to "win" this battle.

Levi had done his groundwork well. He'd lefts the cafe and searched for the young woman's scent. It didn't take much to work out that she regularly used the employee side entrance and that she parked her car in more or less the same place. It was an old car and, since this was America, an automatic, which fitted the profile. Now, if the young woman had been driving something slightly upmarket, then he'd have been slightly more concerned with her identity. At least she seemed like an ordinary twenty something year old woman.
Once he had worked out where the woman parked, he'd moved his car, a slightly battered ten year old dual cab Toyota Hilux ute that Levi had brought over with him, so that it was seven or eight cars behind the woman's. Then, in a position where he could monitor the woman's car and the employee exit - one of the good things about a vehicle imported from Australia was that the steering column was on the side of the footpath - Levi began to listen to an audio book based on a game franchise that he'd consulted on a few years ago. Surprisingly enough, given the Australian protagonist, the series had really taken off and some celebrity ex-special forces guy had written a couple of novels set within the game universe. They were actually quite good, if a little outrageous at times, and were long enough that Levi wasn't likely to get bored waiting for the woman to leave.
Still, as prepared as he was, Levi was surprised by the woman's decision to go walking down the street. The overlapping scent trails that he'd smelled on the footpath had indicated that she generally didn't go down town after her shift. His wolf, which had been lying dormant despite the various severed limbs and eviscerations in the audio book, perked up and Levi knew that to follow the woman was a bad idea. The wolf would see it as a hunt and it had a particular dislike of the woman at the moment, so it might be hard to keep from killing her in the middle of a crowded street. On the other hand, what if the woman caught a taxi home or spent four or five hours out on the town? Levi had bought fifteen big macs before he'd started surveillance, but he couldn't hold out much longer without getting something to eat. If he left and the woman returned to her car, he'd have wasted the entire day. No, he had to continue surveillance on foot, no matter the risks.
And so, after the woman was half a block in front of him, Levi hopped out of his ute, locked it, and began to tail her. His sharp nose and even sharper nose allowed him to follow her from further afield than he would have if he had been human, and it also made it virtually impossible for her to shake him. If he lost sight of her for a moment and she ducked into a shop, he'd be able to smell where she'd gone and adjust his plan accordingly.
Something was off about the woman, though, because he hadn't tailed her far before her body language changed and she looked backwards. Levi wasn't sure if she had made him, but he knew that something that tipped her off. What it was he didn't know, she hadn't seemed as though she'd thought that she was being followed before that moment, but something had definitely happened. There wasn't much he could do, though, just keep following her at a distance and trust his training to keep him from losing it and attacking her. This was turning out to be more of a hunt than he had anticipated, and the wolf was happy about that.

Tinsley inhaled a breath of air in order to calm herself, and slowly exhaled when deciding against entering a store for cover; opting to keep on walking. Sure, movies were often a great means of inspiration, but the blond thought about the situation a little to far. What if there was no back exit? Or if there weren't a lot of people, how was she going to hide and loose the "stalker" after her? She felt amazed to have so many feelings and thoughts of her own enter her brain, when usually her brain soaked up everyone else. Although, she could have "listened" in when eying the store in question to have answers, but she was letting her nerves and fear drive her motions. "It's going to be ok. Alright, Tin?" Tinsley spoke toward herself and eyed the view in front of her, noting that there didn't seem to be many people. Damn. Ironically, she didn't think to ask the "why" question over being stalked at first, but it soon arrived when turning right and walking down the sidewalk. Why is this person stalking me!? Did he pick up on my ability? No, I think it's just-.
A thought or two ran off when running into someone, which startled her as she apologized and kept on walking until feeling her feet ache. Her footwear had style, but it wasn't suited for giving actual support for her feet and the blond gulped over the fact of stamina. your stalker? Bad idea. Wasn't it? She wasn't sure anymore and she just wanted to get back to her own life, for things to be "normal" enough. She decided to head into an alley way, and figured that it was time to let the stranger have it; verbally. "What do you want from me!?" Wow. Yelling felt surprisingly good. Really, really, really good. Though, she winced ever so slightly because maybe just maybe that wasn't such a good idea and she tried to recover. "I-. I-. mean you were following me? I think." Maybe at that point, she should grab a weapon? Tinsley tried looking around, but there didn't seem to be much to work with. She placed a hand to her forehead and wondered if she was capable of doing anything right, every turn appeared to work out wrong.

The woman seemed to know that she was being followed, but she didn't know how to handle it. While Levi didn't want her to, she should have been heading for a very public place and tried to get to a police station. He didn't know if she could identify him, but that would be the smart thing to do even if she couldn't. More than one inexperienced stalker had been frightened off by a smart woman doing just that. Unfortunately for the blond he was following, Levi was not easily frightened or thrown off the trail. He was so experienced that, out of habit, he began to make a mental list of everything that she was doing wrong. As well as not going to a more populous area, the list included panicking, bumping into people, and going down deserted alleyways. Levi sighed as he watched her go into the alley and slowly ambled towards it. Either the woman was about to Taser him or she thought that she could evade him. It was a good thing that he wasn't trying to rape or murder, the wolf laughed at that, her.
Levi's stomach rumbled as he turned into the alleyway and he knew that he needed to get all the explanations down quickly, before the wolf decided to eat the poor woman. And if Levi's suspicions about the woman's abilities were right, that might not be a good thing for the wolf to be thinking of right now.
"What do you want from me!?"
Oh god, the woman was even more clueless than he had first thought. She'd decided to confront him and hadn't even bothered to grab some pepper spray or a Taser. Unless she had been taught some serious martial arts by a very irresponsible teacher, then the woman was effectively defenceless. It seemed as though she was beginning to recognise this, because the woman suddenly winced and started to look around. The wolf forced Levi to advance a couple of steps, until he was well into the alley, before letting him and prepare his reply.
"I-. I-. mean you were following me? I think."
Sighing again, Levi forced himself to relax and lean against the wall of the alley. He was still blocking the woman's exit, but he didn't quite come off as threatening that way. Pinching the bridge of his nose, as much to stave off the wolf as out of frustration at the woman's naivety, Levi started talking.
"How'd you know I was following you??

The stranger had effectively blocked the only exit that she could now see, and he appeared to sigh at least twice before giving off a relaxed posture. Tinsley wouldn't lie, that was a bit odd to her. Although, there didn't seem to be anything she could do about it; at least for now. Great. Maybe nothing bad would happen? Tinsley hoped and suddenly blinked when hearing a question arise from the man, he wanted to know how she knew that he was following her. Well, crap. Deep down, she knew that talking about her "gift" of being able to read minds wasn't going to happen, she couldn't allow it; she had just met the stranger! So, Tinsley lied and figured that it wasn't that hard to do. Plus, it wasn't like she didn't know how to do so before and tried to get a grip on realty by focusing. Unfortunately, Tinsley had no idea on who she was dealing with as she spoke while making up one lie after the other, secretly convinced that her "work" was indeed good enough. "I could just tell. I mean-. No offense to you, but you have the whole stalker look about you. Going on and-." Was that all? Hardly. Hardly at all, the blond mentally sighed and tried to keep everything together, so nothing would fall apart all to quickly.
Tinsley breifly paused and still rolled with the punches, "You were being obvious." There. Done. Yet, in her mind it seemed that her actions were a little silly, but she couldn't help it. For one thing, Tinsley didn't really know what to do and she hadn't been in a situation like this before. Having a stalker that is. As well as meeting a stranger like him, whatever he was; it wasn't human. Was it? While being curious about him, she also didn't want to rile things up again and she instead looked down toward the ground. Wishing she could rush toward this stranger, and shove him aside to get out from the trap that she walked into. Then again, if that were possible, her car seemed like it was miles and miles away. Maybe there was a way for this all to end not so bad? Tinsley then looked up from the ground and figured the only way out was to talk her way out; simple enough. Stalkers like attention, well, damn it, she would give him attention and maybe trick him into letting her go. It was worth a shot. "Yep. So obvious. Though I'm willing to forget it." How was that tricking him? This was harder then she thought. Damn it. She finally got an action packed day, but this wasn't what she had in her mind when she usually thought, about having something "neat" happen while at work.
