personality
[/size][/right]Katherine has always been a very compassionate person. She has taken a great love to caring about those around her. Humans or animals, there hasn't been one in either categore that she can say she has totally despised. Hate in her vocabulary isn't something she exhibits freely and without good reasoning. She is open to meeting new people and learning new things. This is easily seen with her acceptance to there being vampires among the living. She is a curious young hearted college teacher, so naturally she does wonder what life as a vampire is like for one.
Some of the things she enjoys doing is going camping( all this when she isn't teaching of course.), hiking, seeing a good movie or play. She doesn't like getting drunk or doing drugs. She may have an occassional beer, but thats about it.
She has a strict sense of family meaning. She loves her family and cherishes each of them in their own rightful ways. She believes trust and compassion bring a family foundation upwards from the ground.
Katherine has worked hard on getting everything she has ever owned. Whether its from the truck she drives, to the career or apartment she lives in, its all been through hard work and setting goals that she has achieved.
She hasn't really been in a serious relationship. Until recently, she hasn't had the time for it. Not that it wasn't something that she didn't secretly desire. She had gone out on dates. It wasnt until recently, with her first year of teaching having ended, that she realized one of her students seemed to be always watching her? Though she often wondered why, she never dared to cross the line between teacher and student.. Yet.. anyhow.

[/size][/right] Katherine was born in the deep south in Palmside Tenn. Her father is Johnathan Alamai and her mother is Katherine Alamai. They raised Katherine in Palmside until her junior year in high school where they then moved to Jamerson New Jersey. She is the only child but never let that bring her down or desired for other siblings. Her parents gave her the best of education and life. They taught her the ways of a fine young lady where she uses that at her present age of 24 to be the best teacher she can be. Upon the move to Jamerson, she has met many people and has made many friendships.
During the summers, when she is not teaching at the local college, she can be found curling up in her apartment with a good book to read or going out sightseeing in her area. Afterall, New Jersey is rich in history and folklore which she craves to learn about!
Katherine has one secret she doesn't let known to many. She is a were. Jamerson Falls has proved to be the best place for her to show her strengths as a were. When the nights are lonesome for the young woman, she can be found running through the forests that surround the city.Don't let her innocense as a human or slight submissiveness as a wolf get you to thinking she can not maintain in a fight when backed into that corner. She can fight. She has fought in her past out of necessity. This comes with being what she is. Its not something she is overly proud of, but has come to accept it.

Stefan dressed in a comfortable fitting pair of jeans and found a tee-shirt that would look ideal on him and then headed out from the B and B that he had been staying in. The drive wasn't too long and he soon found himself at the theatre and buying a ticket at the ticket booth for himself. Just as he turned and sunk his left hand into his pocket to place his money within that pocket, he felt something hit him.
It was the young lady from the Grille that he had met earlier that week. His eyes met with hers and he lifted a brow. It wasn't that this woman hadn't crossed his mind since meeting her, it was the fact she seemed to always run into him. This made twice. His one hand went out to reach and steady her and when he seen that she was in fact steady, he released his hold of her arm.
"I am wondering if its your lack of paying attention to where you are going or if you just want to purposely run into me..Elena. I must admit, it is a surprise to find you here. "
He glanced around and seen that she was by herself. As his eyes settle back on Elena, he grinned.
" I see we are both alone..How about enjoying the movie with me Elena?"
He wasn't sure if she'd agree to that, but would leave the ball in her court for a reply. As to what else she said about running out on him and being the type of girl that came between a guy and his woman, he frowned.
" Elena, I told you or tried to tell you that night. It isn't like you think. I wish you'd believe me on that one. If you'd stay around long enough to talk and get to know me, you would know that and much more about me. So, with this said, what do you say? Give me a chance, alright?"
