Jennifer sat in one of the cells underneath the Halloway mansion, just staring at the wall as she sang to herself in a low voice. It was her own fault that she was here, she had made the plan to sneak in and then meet up with Georgia, the Gealach pack Alpha, after she had evidence of the monarchs plans. Of course she hadn't been counting on what happened after she had looked around, the loud scream she had made which alerted the guards to her presence and the electricity blackout, that hadn't been part of the plan and she really didn't know what had happened there. It wasn't like it would matter for long anyway, she was in the cell now and waiting for the vampires to decide what should happen to her. She was in the custody of Halloways.
After falling to the floor and laying there on that night, unable to move out of fear, Jennifer had been caught be the guards. They weren't rough and they didn't hurt her but even as they helped her to her feet and then carried her down a secret passage into the cells underneath Jennifer knew that she was in trouble. Then they had put her in the cell and locked the door before leaving. At this moment in time she had been sat there for a while, just staring at the wall and not responding to anything or eating the food that they tried to give her. There was nothing she wanted to do; nothing she could do. She felt weak and powerless, as though that one scream had taken every bit of life and energy out of her. There was nothing there for her now.

Clicks echoed down the marble halls as Corbin approached the door leading to the holding cells. Her movements were so graceful that she made walking in the thin heels she was wearing look incredibly effortless. Her fingers wrapped around a tin try, the aroma of food tickled her nose as she glanced down at the try of mash potatoes, turkey, stuffing, and graving with a dinner roll. Normally the queen would never take the time to personally deliver the meal to the prisoner but Jenn was a different case. The Halloways really didn't have any information other then whatever she was trying to do the night of the ball had failed. They had found no connections to Jenn and the murders but they insisted on keeping her just to make sure she wasn't just trying to play things in a favorable light.
Jenn must had known something, the strangest thing was that her powers had seemed to completely gone missing. She was nothing but a miserable human, staring blankly at the walls. She had refused to eat the last few meals so Corbin decided to get her cooks to make her the best meal possible. Pressing a code into the door, her eyes flicked slightly as the metal door slid opened to reveal Jenn's cell. You could see through the thick glass and there was a small door where each meal would be placed at the proper time. "We have dinner for you." she said softly, almost as if she was trying to convince some sort of zoo animal to eat so it wouldn't starve to death. She lifted the small door and slide the tray through to a table on the other side of the glass. Corbin watched her closely, there was always that small fear that her powers would come back and things would get ugly but for now Jenn was helpless.
"So you are a vampire hunter then? It's a little odd to see a with huntress. Does your sister have something to do with that?" Corbin took a seat on the bench next to the glass as she peered in at Jennifer who was in the corner. Maggie was unaware that her sister was being kept by the royals. Maggie had never mentioned Jennifer before but Corbin didn't blame her. The uncanny resemblance to their newest assassin, and some investigative work led them to her name, and a file containing some old pictures of her family back in Australia. "I find it incredible that you have managed to stay alive all these years. Witches like yourself are indeed very rare." her eyes never left Jennifer as she choose her words carefully hoping that today would be the day she would reveal something more about her true intent. "Tell me, Why were you by my office the night of the ball? Were you looking for something?"

The door opened and Jennifer heard a voice speak to her, the voice of a female. She didn't even move to see who the person was, she knew vampires well enough to know they had a little scent of death on them, this female was no doubt a vampire and if her thoughts were correct then it was the queen that was addressing her right now. "We have dinner for you." Those words... The same words she had been hearing every day. She didn't care about food. There was nothing there now but the need to sit still and stare at the wall with no real thoughts running through her mind. The food was put into the room and she could faintly smell it, it was a meal fit for royals. They wanted her to crack... but she wouldn't... She couldn't... "So you are a vampire hunter then? It's a little odd to see a witch huntress. Does your sister have something to do with that?" Her head turned to the side an inch, as though she had registered the mention of Maggie. There were no feelings there though, not even the hatred that she had displayed on her first night in this town. Jennifer had no feelings at this moment.
It was always the same questions every day. Who are you? What are you? Why were you here? She wasn't going to tell anyone. It was her secret. Perhaps, if she did die, then she would meet her parents... Perhaps she had lived for too long and this was her time to go. "I find it incredible that you have managed to stay alive all these years. Witches like yourself are indeed very rare." Jennifer didn't care about being rare; she stayed alive to kill the vampires. That was the only reason. To take each one of them down. Her eyes narrowed a little as she tried to think about her purpose. There wasn't one now. How could she hate them when her sister was one of them? But she did. She hated the vampires with a passion and she had to hold onto that.
"Tell me, why were you by my office the night of the ball? Were you looking for something?" Her eyes stayed fixed on the wall but for the first time in ages she spoke, just saying two words, "you're lucky." That was all she had to say; all that she could say. If she had her powers then she would fight her way out of here and tear them apart but she didn't have them. Right now she was like a zombie; she hadn't been sleeping or eating, just sat in the same spot staring at the wall all the time. That was her life now.

"You're lucky." The faint words had been the first she had heard from the women. Corbin supposed that was a start. She couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed by the fact that none of her questions had been answered. Standing up, Corbin walked towards the glass. "You know you are the one making your own misery not us. If you confessed to things and gave us more words then just a few every now and then you probably would be free." her eyes narrowed it was clear that Jennifer was refusing to eat and sleep. All she would do is stare at the wall. Corbin couldn't understand how the witch managed but she was stubborn, just as stubborn as Maggie. "I see where Maggie are you are like other then looks. You both are wildly stubborn." she said with a slight growl.
The witch looked dead, it was clear that she was dying and it was even more clear what she was doing. She was taking her secrets with her to the grave. This of course only made corbin more and more frustrated. Pulling out her phone she called the kitchen staff as she walked back over to her seat. "I want you to bring me down the best wine we have along with a few bottle of blood for myself." hanging up her eyes fixed back on Jennifer. She knew if anything was to happen guards would be by her side within a matter of seconds. Her conversation was being monitored from other rooms. The guards couldn't risk the queen being killed.
"I can't help but notice you seem uneasy around me. There really is no reason to be that way. I am no different then you other then what I do to survive. I am not this vile creature that you seem to think I am. My heart once beat, and my lungs once filled with air." She tilted her head slightly watching her for any signs that she would give the queen a little more information. There was a slightly uneasiness among the queen as she got the strangest feeing that Jennifer knew much more about her then she was revealing. Corbin couldn't help but think that the witch had been studying the royals for sometime now. Why Corbin had been the target for whatever it was she was going to do was still unknown.

"You know you are the one making your own misery not us. If you confessed to things and gave us more words then just a few every now and then you probably would be free." If only it was that simple. Even if she did leave she would die. It was better to go out with the secrets rather than saying a thing and risking what her and Georgia had been doing for years. No, she would never betray what she believed in or her best friend. "I see where Maggie and you are alike other then looks. You both are wildly stubborn." Again, there was a mention of Maggie and it registered inside her mind. Nothing was getting her attenton except for her twin. Jennifer had believed she was dead and really she was living life as the very thing she hated. Could she really kill her or would it be best to spare her and rekindle their relationship?
"I want you to bring me down the best wine we have along with a few bottle of blood for myself." Did she honestly think that Jennifer was going to drink something? She wasn't interested in food or drink. There was no interest for much really. Nothing grabbed her attention. Nothing but the wall and death. Her lack of powers was killing her, literally... And she was going to take her secrets with her. No one was going to know a thing about her plans, especially not some dumb ass vampire. Queen or not, she wouldn't get Jennifer to crack. "I can't help but notice you seem uneasy around me. There really is no reason to be that way. I am no different then you other then what I do to survive. I am not this vile creature that you seem to think I am. My heart once beat, and my lungs once filled with air." Her eyes managed to narrow slightly as the monster tried to make it seem that she deserved to be here. She didn't. None of the vampires deserved to be alive.
"I would kill you if I could." Her eyes turned to face the queen, staring at her coldly, "I won't be here for long and neither will you." She turned back around to face the wall, staring at it again and returning to her dead like state. There was nothing more to it. If she had a small amount of powers then she would have the queen on her knees and choking to death, even the guards wouldn't be able to help her; she would just kill them as well. She had it all planned out.

Corbin gave a slight laugh of disbelief. She wasn't going to be around soon? What was that supposed to mean? Did this witch honestly think that she would be killing the queen by staring at the wall all day? There was a knock on the metal door alerting the queen that the wine and blood had arrived before the door opened and a human entered the room. The servant placed the wine and bottles of blood on a small table by the queen and Corbin gave a nod thanking her before focusing her attention on Jennifer once again before the servant left Corbin alone with the prisoner again. "What do you mean I won't be around? Are you suggesting that you are going to kill me without any sleep or energy in your system?" she smiled slightly as if she was analyzing some plan that a child had just presented to her. Her finger wrapped around the stem of a wine glass before she poured some wine for Jennifer. Her heels clicked aganist the stones as she approached the small food door once again before sliding the wine through. "Why don't you tell me more about this over some dinner. I have mine and you have yours."
It must have been taking hours to get words out of Jennifer but Corbin sat patiently by the cell drinking her wine and blood mixture as she watched Jennifer closely. There was only so much time that Corbin could devote to this before she would be led to sleep through the day once again with Heath. There were never enough hours in the night and that was a shame. Corbin lifted the glass of wine and blood to her lips as she took a sip. The blood certainly made it bearable, any human food or drink that she consumed made her weaker but the queen insisted on doing it because it reminded her of her human life. Right now though wine had the same taste to her as beer did when she was human. No one really loves beer, it was just something that everyone thought they did. A bitter taste that you had to get used too and finally pick out some small thing you liked about it. In all reality everyone was thinking about how much like piss it really tasted like. If it wasn't for the alcohol Corbin was sure that beer wouldn't be popular. Corbin kept trying to convince herself that wine wasn't that bad. It was something she had loved drinking when she was human but she could only bear it now with blood. Nothing was fulfilling but the dark crimson she would turn to for her daily source of energy.

The vampire laughed and Jennifer frowned, wishing she could just kill the bitch right there where she stood. It would be funny to just kill her in a second, the guards wouldn't get there quick enough to stop her. By the time they would get in the queen would be dead and Jennifer would have escaped. She didn't have her powers though so that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. Her head turned to the side slightly as there was a knock on the door, a human walking in and placing the queen's order by her side. The monarchs clearly had no morals or respect for humanity. It only gave Jennifer more of a reason not to talk. "What do you mean I won't be around? Are you suggesting that you are going to kill me without any sleep or energy in your system?" Some wine was poured and put in the cell next to the food, a small sigh escaping Jennifer's lips as she realised that she was never going to fulfill her mission to kill all the vampires because she was going to die by their hands. Ironic really.
"Why don't you tell me more about this over some dinner. I have mine and you have yours." She faced the queen once more, staring at her coldly, her anger rising just that little bit. "Sooner or later I will get out of here and when I do, you will stake your husband and yourself. Unless I choke you to death, of course." Her eyes darkened slightly as she stood up, a surge of power and energy (caused by the anger) running through her as she continued staring at the vampire. The food suddenly flung itself across the cell and into the wall, the wine following it soon after. Jennifer's hand raised slightly and a smirk crossed her lips as she began to make the queen choke... Then her knees buckled and she dropped to the floor, losing the connection to the queen as her energy and power once again faded to nothing, tears streaming down her face as she thought about how close she had been to actually surviving this.

Her eyes widened as the glass fell from her hands and crashed on to the floor, breaking into millions jagged pieces. Her throat was tightening and it started the queen badly before the grip was broken. Letting out a small gasp her eyes raced back to the fallen witch as she noticed she was crying. Lucky for her she had fallen to the floor and was weak once more. Within seconds the guards had rushed to Corbin side helping her up. They asked her question after question to make sure that she was ok but Corbin didn't answer. She just stared at Jenn, still shocked by what had occurred. Maybe Corbin was in over her head, it was clear once her powers had been gained back that Jennifer would be a threat. How much longer could they go knowing that she wouldn't break out and kill the monarchs? "I'm fine." Corbin finally growled as she extended her fangs pulling away from the guards and hitting the glass with her fist to get Jennifer's attention. "If death is what you want so badly then you can have it. I have been nothing but kind to you and this is how you are repay me?" she hissed her eyes darkening as she stared at her coldly.
Turning to the guards coldly she growled at them. "Stop making such a fuss I'm a damn vampire for crying out loud I think I can handle myself." Her coldness was surfacing and right at this moment when Corbin had almost been seen as weak and defenseless she wanted to act brave. The guards walked back out of the room getting the hint that they were no longer wanted as Corbin focused her attention back on Jennifer.

"I'm fine." It was clear that the guards were aware of Jennifer's attempted murder and were in the room, talking to the queen. Her chance to kill the monarch had failed and now she was never going to get the chance again because the guards were aware of her plan. Sje was trapped now and she had to face that... There was a bang against the glass and more speech from the queen, "If death is what you want so badly then you can have it. I have been nothing but kind to you and this is how you are repay me?" Jennifer just stayed how she was, curled up on the floor and crying, showing a side of herself that no one had ever seen before. She was at her most vulnerable point since Maggie had stopped writing to her. She was weak and defensless, not to mention the fact that she was dying. It would be a miracle if she survived this now.
"Stop making such a fuss I'm a damn vampire for crying out loud I think I can handle myself." Jennifer looked at the queen as she spoke to the guards and watched as the men left, leaving the two females alone again. The vampire turned back to face Jennifer and all she could do was stare, believing that death was going to come sooner than expected. Her hand lifted and reached out to the queen, tears still streaming down her cheeks as she pleaded for help and mercy without actually saying she wanted it. This was her lowest point and she couldn't handle it anymore. She wanted to get better and to be able to fight again, to be able to escape and then repay the queen by letting her live for a while longer. This was her only option at surviving; suck it up and be nice to the vampire.

Her eyes softened as she watched Jennifer be reduced to nothing more then tears. Her hand reached out silently pleading for help and Corbin found herself stepping near the cell door, her hand hovering above the handle debating whether or not she was about to put her life in danger again. She turned to the camera in the room her voice was sharp. "Bring me another plate of food and wine for her. Stay by the door and make sure that nothing else happen. I don't want you making any fuss until something does." With that Corbin stepped into the cell, closing the door behind her and walking slowly over to the witch before helping her to her feet and sitting her back down on the bed.
Compassion might have been a weakness to most vampires but to her it could also be a strength. "If you want to live a little longer you will cooperate with us." she said softly as her human side came out more . The guards came back in with a new plate of food before setting it in front of the two women. It wasn't long before the two of them were alone again. Corbin knew she should have been nervous but she was aware that the staff was watching her like a hawk now."Please try and eat something, it will make you feel better." She lifted the plate up so Jenn could take it. Corbin a gave a slight smile hoping that maybe the witch was starting to warm up to her. [/blockquote][/size]

Jennifer watched Corbin come closer to the door and then talk to the camera that was in the room, watching everything that Jennifer or the queen did, "bring me another plate of food and wine for her. Stay by the door and make sure that nothing else happen. I don't want you making any fuss until something does." Jennifer's eyes stayed fixed on her, watching the queen enter the cell and walk towards her before helping her up and sitting her on the bed. It was strange for Jennifer to be so dependant on someone, let alone a vampire. It felt so wrong but it was all that she could do to live. A sigh escaped her lips and she looked down at her hands as they shook slightly, her body getting cold as more energy and life drained from her. She was facing the end and she needed help, she knew that.
"If you want to live a little longer you will cooperate with us." Another sigh escaped her as the door opened and the guards brought in some more food. Her eyes looked at them, her attention now on wondering if they were angry with her and wanting her dead. She didn't know, she couldn't read their minds at this moment. Then they left as quick as they had came and the vampire monarch spoke again, please try and eat something, it will make you feel better." Jennifer looked at the queen and then at the plate of food, lifting her hand to try take it but unable to do so, her hand just falling down to her side. More tears rans down her cheeks as she realised that she was going to have to depend on the queen for more than mercy, she was too weak to even feed herself. "I'm sorry."

Corbin took the fork and began to scoop up some food from the plate before setting it gently in Jennifer's mouth. She was very much motherly considering she could never have a child of her own. When she wanted to be she could be a very kind and caring women. Corbin would nurse the dying witch back to health regardless of the fact that Jennifer had been plotting to kill her. She could only hope that the witches views of her would change. Setting the fork down she lifted some wine to Jenn's lips and smiled. "I know its hard to believe a monster like me actually has feeling but believe it or not I'm more human then you think I am." she whispered softly. Her eyes gazed into the weak witches as she tried to show her that she meant no harm. Corbin placed the roll in her mouth so that Jennifer could eat that as well as she feed her more turkey and stuffing. In a way the movements were relaxing but also somewhat upsetting. They reminded her of the fact that she would never truly be a mother and she could only enjoy the moments with Bella and the weak witch that would barely mirror what she would experience if she had been able to give Heath a child.
"If you need anything else just let us know." Corbin hope that the food and wine would finally help the witch sleep. She was dying and it was clear that the only thing that would stop her from doing so would to allow Jennifer to gain her powers back. They couldn't be sure that Jennifer wouldn't rebel but they could only hope that the kindness shown to her would help her realize that there was no reason to hate the monarchs.

The queen began to feed her and with each mouthful Jennifer felt worse. She felt like crap and was hating the fact that someone had to feed her as though she was a baby. It wasn't who she was. She was strong and determined; a fighter in every way. Now she was reduced to nothing but tears; a weak mess having to be fed by the creature she hated the most. It was gracious of the queen to do this though, after she had tried to kill her. Nursing her back to health couldn't be entirely easy for the monarch, even with her human emotions. There was a quick sip of wine as the queen spoke, "I know its hard to believe a monster like me actually has feeling but believe it or not I'm more human then you think I am." There was more feeding and Jennifer wondered if the queen was doing this because she wanted a child? Maybe that was why she was so caring.
"If you need anything else just let us know." Again, there was that compassion, the love and kindness that the vampire monarch was showing her. Maybe it was because she cared; maybe she wanted to nurse someone; or maybe it was a trick to get her to crack... She didn't really care much at this moment. All Jennifer wanted was to get her strength back and get back to fighting and staking. That was all she wanted. If food and drink from a vampire was going to help her then fine, she would accept that. On her escape the queen would be spared for her kindness but all vampires would get killed eventually. It was just a matter of waiting untill she could kick their asses.

As Corbin continued to nurse Jenn back to heath she couldn't help to feel she was helping her husbands assassin. The two of them looked so much alike that if Corbin didn't know any better she would have thought that they had captured Maggie that night. "You look so much like her." she said softly wiping some food from Jenn's mouth before allowing her to drink some more wine. "If my husband were here he wouldn't allow me to be doing this." she mused with a slight smile. It was almost child like in nature, knowing she was doing something that wouldn't have been seen as a smart choice. Corbin gave a pause as she looked down at her own pale skin being reminded that probably no matter how kind she was things would probably go back to how they were. Corbin was a monster now, she would never be human again. "We aren't all that bad you know. Not all of us wanted this." she sighed as she feed her some more food before setting the plate aside and allowing her to finish the wine.
When the food and wine were gone Corbin stood up, gathering the plate and glass as she watched Jenn hoping that she would gain some life back into her cheeks again. A part of her couldn't help but be jealous. Jenn had life in her and also had the opportunity to give that life to someone else. Corbin was just a corpse that had managed to cheat death. She feed off the living draining them of life and opportunities. If she thought too much about it it was rather upsetting but somehow Corbin managed to keep her composer. "I'll have my servants fix you a big breakfast in the morning and check up on you making sure that you have enough water. They will also provide a few snacks. You need to save your strength."

"You look so much like her." Another mention of Maggie, did the vampire queen think that the way to make her crack was by bringing up her family? Mentioning Maggie wasn't going to help the queen in anyway, if just made Jennifer remember how much vampires had destroyed her life. They had not only put her on this path of life but they had also taken her sister from her. They were vile monsters that deserved to be exterminated. "If my husband were here he wouldn't allow me to be doing this." That was probably true and, if that was to be taken into consideration, then it only showed that the queen did have some humanity left inside her after all. "We aren't all that bad you know. Not all of us wanted this." Jennifer looked at her as she finished the wine, seeing a little sadness within the queen. That was enough to show her that the queen was different to the others of her kind.
The queen stood up and Jennifer looked down at the ground, trying to think about things and get some strength. It was going to take time to get back to her normal self but if she continued to do this then she would be nursed back to full health. "I'll have my servants fix you a big breakfast in the morning and check up on you making sure that you have enough water. They will also provide a few snacks. You need to save your strength." Jennifer closed her eyes and sighed, "I want you to do it. You're not like the others. That night I was here, I thought that if I got enough information on you then I could use your emotions to bring you down..." She looked up, her eyes now fixed on the queen, "but I was wrong, because you aren't one of the bad guys. You didn't have to help me, yet you did. If you want, I can try find a way to make you normal again. Once I get my powers I could try make you human... If you want that." It would be possible to do, for those with strong connections to the spirits and their own powers, it would be possible.
