Emma danced downstairs in nothing but one of Jordan's baggy tops and some shorts, cleaning up the room as she listened to one of the songs on her iPod. She adored this song. Her eyes lifted slightly as she took out her earphones and listed to hear if there was any noise coming from upstairs. There wasn't. A smile crossed Emma's face as she put her iPod on the couch and slowly made her way upstairs, her hand gently pushed open the door and she giggled slightly as she saw Jordan laying there on the bed. Emma thought that it was one of those cute moments that only happened on TV or in a movie. A beautiful woman laying on a bed, Emma in that beautiful woman's house, the nights they had spent together after the beautiful had rescued her... It was amazing.
Emma slowly crossed the floor of the room and climbed onto the bed. She hated to wake Jordan up but it was almost dinner time and Emma wanted to spend some time with this amazing woman. Her hand played with Jordan's hair before she gently kissed her saviour's lips. That was what she thought of Jordan, Emma felt that she was her saviour in more ways than one. Emma loved Jordan so much that words couldn't describe it. She had finally met a woman that was perfect. Her lips pressed against Jordan's once more before Emma began to tickle her, "wake up, sleepy head."

A smile spread across her face as she opened her eyes slowly sensing that Emma was waking her. She could not miss her scent even if it was miles away. That night would be forever engrained in her mind. Her kiss was something she would keep with her and she hoped that she would have always receive them. "I'm used to sleeping in ok...don't beat me up for it." she smirked as she gave a slight yawn. "You know I'm a bartender right? Means I work late nights. I'm a night owl literally and metaphorically " her hands wandered up to Emma's face as allowed her fingers to run down her cheek. Jordan pulled herself up before kissing Emma's cheek and looking into her eyes. "What are the plans for tonight?"
Jordan really was happy that Emma hadn't run off after that night. It had been so different and exciting to Jordan that the night she met Emma, that it was all she could think of. "So are we offical then?" she bit her bottom lip as her smile grew. "I mean I'm not leaving anytime soon." Jordan was really taking a leap of faith. She had just came out of a hard break up after steve left her but when she was around Emma she found it easy to love again. Jordan didn't think that would be possible.

Emma smiled as Jordan began to wake up. The night they had met was still in Emma's mind, how Jordan had helped her; how they had kissed that night; then how one thing lead to another and here Emma was, days later, wearing one of Jordan's tops and laying on the bed with her. It was amazing. It was, for Emma, a dream come true. "I'm used to sleeping in ok...don't beat me up for it." Oh and there was the voice and the pure cuteness of Jordan's smirk, Emma loved them so much... She loved Jordan with her heart... "You know I'm a bartender right? Means I work late nights. I'm a night owl literally and metaphorically " Emma just stared at the woman that she loved, too consumed by the scent and angelic voice of this beautiful woman. She smiled as Jordan ran her fingers down her cheek before kissing that very same cheek and staring into her eyes, Emma's own eyes locked in place as they stared back lovingly.
"What are the plans for tonight?" Emma giggled slightly, knowing that Jordan knew it was a sign of her being embarrassed, that and the fact she was blushing were a signal for it. Emma wanted to spend time with Jordan, that was all. When one person loved another, why shouldn't they spend time together? That's all Emma had ever wanted... A little bit of love. "So are we offical then?" Emma only blushed more as Jordan bit her lower lip and then spoke again, "I mean I'm not leaving anytime soon." A smile grew on Emma's face as she gently kissed Jordan's neck, "i'm not going to be leaving either. So, I guess it is official." She found herself kissing down Jordan's neck and along her shoulder, "so I guess you're stuck with me."

"Being stuck implys that you hate something." she smirked. "I certainly don't hate you at all." her eyes gazed back into hers before she crawled out of bed and began to get dressed for dinner. There really was no point in doing too much...but she wanted to make herself look a little more presentable for dinner then just walking downstairs in her pj's. Emma had her want to dress up. Jordan wanted to do everything she could to make Emma smile. Her heart would break in two the day she did something to disappoint her. It was clear how much Emma already meant to her with the way she acted around her.
Jordan put on some sweats and a top before running a brush through her hair a few times. Jordan caught herself yawning a few times as she looked at herself in the mirror. She wondered what made her so tired. "You could have just woken me earlier. I wouldn't have minded. I feel bad for sleeping the whole day away." Jordan looked over at Emma and smiled. "Either way you are a sweetheart and are the best thing I have ever taken home with me. Typically I take home some real jerks."

"Being stuck implys that you hate something. I certainly don't hate you at all." Their eyes stared into each other's before Jordan crawled out of the bed. Emma just watched as her girlfriend got dressed. It was a little weird thinking of Jordan as being her girlfriend, she had never been in a relationship before, but she knew Jordan had taken her heart and that she was deeply in love with the woman that had saved her. Jordan meant the world to Emma and the day that anything bad happened between them would be the day that her life would fall apart again. For the first time in her life, she was truly happy.
Emma sat there on Jordan's bed, watching as her amazing girlfriend put on some sweats and a top before brushing her hair. It made Emma feel as though she hadn't put enough effort into her own appearance, in a way. She was just sat there is shorts, that were actually more like underwear, and one of Jordan's baggy tops, was that good enough? Was it too little? Her hands rubbed together nervously as she tried to think clearly about this mess she had got herself in. She had to look good for Jordan. Emma didn't want to lose her any time soon. "You could have just woken me earlier. I wouldn't have minded. I feel bad for sleeping the whole day away." Emma looked up at Jordan and their eyes connected as her girlfriend spoke. Those wonderful eyes that Emma adored. They made her worries go away.
"Either way you are a sweetheart and are the best thing I have ever taken home with me. Typically I take home some real jerks." Emma looked down again, she had known that she probably wasn't the first person in Jordan's life but it still didn't stop her being a little bit worried. Jordan had said "typically", in Emma's mind that meant more than once. How people had there been before her? And if it didn't work out with them, how could she be sure it would work with her? A sigh escaped Emma's lips, her eyes fixed on the floor as she walked out of the room and into the bathroom, locking the door behind her.

Jordan frowned slightly as she watched Emma walk to the bathroom. When she heard the door lock she got a little worried and rushed over to the door. "Did I say something wrong? Emma I'm sorry. Honestly. I mean I just got of a relationship and I'm still pretty much a mess. I'm sure you saw how I was that night." she waited a few minutes before she leaned against the door with a sigh. "I didn't mean to upset you...I'm sorry." She ran her hands across her face. Had she really just screwed up another relationship? She couldn't believe herself. Jordan pushed off the door and walked over to the doorway slowly deciding how badly she wanted to internally beat herself up. "I'll be downstairs if you need me Em."
The ice cubes bounced off the glass before she poured herself some coke and added some Malibu to it. She knew she needed to be be drinking if she expected to live with herself. Jordan couldn't help but feel a little upset for upsetting Emma. She didn't want this relationship to end of fast as it had started but she should have figured. Things never lasted in her life. Her life normally was one big mess after the other. Humorous at times but utterly depressing at others.

"Did I say something wrong? Emma I'm sorry. Honestly. I mean I just got out of a relationship and I'm still pretty much a mess. I'm sure you saw how I was that night." Emma looked up at the mirror that was placed above the sink. That was it then. She was a rebound. Just a way of getting over a failed relationship. A little bit of fun that would be pushed away once Jordan got bored. Her eyes flickered some of the shaving razors that Jordan no doubt used for shaving her legs... and other places... A sigh escaping her lips as she heard Jordan speak again, "I didn't mean to upset you...I'm sorry. I'll be downstairs if you need me Em." Once again her eyes fixed on the mirror as one of her hands trembled whilst turning on the tap. Emma splashed the water on her face and ran her hand through her hair as once again she looked at the razors.
A few minutes later she walked down stairs wearing one of Jordan's long sleeved jumpers, the sleeves dropping over her hands, her eyes showing that she had been crying for the time she was locked away. Her bare feet gently stepped on the floor as she walked to where Jordan was. Right now, Emma didn't care that her own appearance was unappealing; her hair being a mess, no make-up on what-so-ever and her eyes showing her pain. "I've never had a relationship. Not one. There wasn't anyone I found worthy of my trust until I met you." Emma looked at the ground as she got closer to Jordan. "I don't want to be a rebound. I want real love. A woman that treats me like the only person she's ever truly loved." Her eyes closed as she held back the tears. "I want to mean something to someone. I want to mean something to you."

Jordan had managed to distract herself from her worries before Emma showed back up downstairs. She knew she had been crying and that only seemed to pain Jordan more. She couldn't help but take in upon herself that it was her fault that Emma was hurting. It must have been something she had said. Jordan's mind shifted through each comment she might have made that night. Trying desperately to figure out where she had gone wrong. It was then that her past relationship crossed her mind. She must have mentioned something about it to upset Emma.
As Emma spoke it only confirmed that and Jordan's heart sank. It was true that Jordan had just recently gotten out of a relationship and now was about to dive into another one. But there was something different with Emma. She felt something there that had never been there before. "It's not true Em. I know that I just recently broke up but there is something here that I can't just deny. I love you. I vowed to myself that I won't get into another relationship ever. The night I saw you though that all changed and I'm so lucky to have met you so fast. Please don't think you are a rebound because your not. I hope to know you as long as I can."

Emma looked up at her for a few seconds before looking back down. Her emotions were getting out of control and that was never good. There were many problems that had passed Emma in her life, the main one being depression, and right now she didn't know how to handle them. She felt weak.
Her hand reached up and placed itself on her head as she began to feel a little dizzy, the sleeve falling down slightly to reveal the scars on her wrists from long ago and one from quite recent times. Eyes shut, Emma tried to steady herself, finding that it seemed the ground was moving beneath her feet. She felt like she was falling but she was just stood there wobbling slightly... Then suddenly she was down. Her legs finally couldn't take it anymore and neither could her mind, her head banging against the wall as she went down. Finally she was just laying motionless on the floor, her head bleeding slightly as her body rested in it's unconscious state. There was nothing there but the faint sign that her heart was still beating very slowly.

Jordan didn't really have time to process things before Emma hit the ground. Like that a flood of worry consumed her as she rushed to her side. " Emma...please don't do this...." she muttered as she felt warm tears streaming down her cheeks. There really wasn't any sense in talking to her or trying to reason with her that what she had witnessed was unhealthy and she felt sorry for being the cause of those cuts. It hurt her more then anything but now she had to act fast. Emma had lost a lot of blood and it was only a matter of time. Shifter or not they were still prone to things. Lifting her up around her shoulders Jordan carried to her car. Jordan placed Emma laying down in the back, a towel wrapped around her arms firmly as she tried to stop the bleed. Jordan didn't hesitate to hit the gas and gun it to the hospital.
The nurses and doctors had taken over from that point. All Jordan could do now was wait, wait until the doctors allowed her to see Emma. As much and Jordan tried to hold back the tears she couldn't. She had been stupid. This shouldn't have happened at all. She prayed that Emma would be ok.
