FROM THE GUY HIMSELF:
"Hm? You wish to know about me? Well, clearly, I am a very intelligent being. I pride myself in my intelligence, actually. I probably have a broader vocabulary than you could ever hope for. Yes, I do think highly of myself. I'm like a God. I don't think highly of you. You're like an ant. Not an army of ants. Just one little miniscule insect that I will take pleasures in slowly killing. I can have a bit of a temper if you push me, but I'm usually quite calm and collected. I have to be, after all.
Afraid? No! I fear nothing. I am almighty. I'm fucking immortal. I've nothing to fear. What? T-Tobias is here? Where?! I... I'm not afraid of him or anything! I just... don't like his guns. I- He's not here anyway, so shut up! With that out of the way, I suppose I'll tell you that I dislike anything... germy. I'm very much a lover of cleanliness. Even as a human, I never did care much for fattening foods. And now, I really don't like the taste of humans who do eat unhealthy food groups. Sadly, there are more unhealthy humans than there are healthy ones."
HIS OPINIONS ABOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF VAMPIRES:
"It's about damn time. These people are fucking idiots. Can you believe some of them actually want to be meals for us? What dumbfucks."
history
Terrance was born in Austin, Texas, to two European parents. While his parents weren't great in english, Terrance was very fluent with it. So fluent, that his accent was pretty much gone by the time he could say complete sentences, which was about two years of age. Yes, Terrance was a very intelligent young kid. His parents were, obviously, very proud of him, though, for some reason, Terrance always hated hearing their voices. When he was four years old, Analiese was born, and the two instantly bonded. As soon as Analiese could walk, she was with Terrance everywhere. She would cry any time she'd have to go to day care or kindergarden, and Terrance would have to smile, pat her head, and tell her that he'd be there when Mommy and Daddy picked them up. Analiese was a little slower than Terrance, so he helped her quite a bit.
Throughout the years, Analiese was the only person Terrance was truthful with. Any other people, he used his natural manipulation skills to become "friends" and use people to his own advantage. His parents stopped praising him as much, and began to stop paying attention to Analiese. Terrance comforted Analiese during these times, and tried his best to take care of her when she needed it.
Just as Terrance was about to enter seventh grade and Analiese was entering fourth, their parents took them to Europe. Even Terrance found it a little confusing at first, but he helped Analiese with everything she needed. However, even more confusing changes started to arise. Vienna was away from home for multiple nights at a time, and Tobias started drinking heavily. Tobias was a violent drunk, and Terrance would usually keep Analiese hidden while he took the lashings. Terrance was even shot a few times, causing a fear and hatred of guns. This went on for a year(Terrance is now in eighth grade). People, obviously, asked questions about Terrance's bruises and cuts, but he just brushed them off. After a while, he started ignoring people completely. And by the time he was fifteen, he would lash out at anyone who asked questions. He found the painful screams to be enjoyable, and would sometimes manipulate someone into his home, where he took them into the basement, and, well... killed them.
Analiese knew about the dead people, she knew who did them. She was horrified, but Terrance was her brother, her best friend, and she stuck by his side and defended him to the point of punching a guy that was older than Terrance. When the guy tried to hit her back, Terrance nearly broke his arm. People from school started staying away from him, which bored him practically to tears. While Analiese tried to get him interested in something else, anything else, Terrance couldn't ignore the urges any longer. One night, while everyone was asleep and Vienna was away with one of the men she now spent her time with, Terrance snuck into his father's room. He was, by this time, sixteen, and Analiese was twelve, and Tobias was forty-four. An old, fat, drunken geezer in Terrance's green eyes. Using a butcher knife, Terrance stabbed the man several times in the stomach.
Being the genius killer he was, he managed to get a fake I.D. and passport without having to pay. You can pretty much infer that the person was murdered after delivering the items to Terrance and Analiese. The two hopped a plane, traveling from Germany back to Texas.
They were peaceful for a little over two years, even buying a home, though Terrance used his actual I.D. for this. Needless to say, it was a rather stupid move in the normally-intelligent young man's part.
Like a zombie - though the accurate term would be vampire - Tobias sprang up. He had actually stalked the two for the past two years, following them from Germany to Texas, planning his revenge on the two he used to call children. The problem was, they always stayed in apartments or hotels, and never gave him a good opportunity to strike. And so, like a hidden spider, he waited a watched until, finally, the strings of his web were touched.
Buying a home in a place that could be considered country - though the neighbors were really only about half a mile apart - gave the vampire the perfect chance.
It was a cool evening, the sun already gone. The siblings sat out on the back porch, with Analiese perched in her brother's lap as usual. Tobias practically appeared out of nowhere, tossing the girl aside and attached himself to Terrance's throat. Said male was in shock - and, though he'll always deny it, fear due to memories. By the time he actually managed to form a coherent thought, his limbs were numbing, the world spinning.
Analiese, thinking quickly, grabbed the nearest thing; a shovel. She swung it, the edge managing to slice into the vampire's face and neck, his blood splattering over Terrance's own face. In an instant, he was on Analiese. The two fell to the ground. Small, fourteen year old Ana was no match for the crazed beast that was her father. His elongated fangs were buried into her throat. Before the girl could make a sound, Tobias ripped out the veins in her throat.
Terrance had blacked out due to blood loss, his body limp against the chair. His father stood over him, playing with the idea of killing him, as well. But he wanted his son to suffer. Biting into his own wrist, Tobias allowed his blood to fall into Terrance's mouth.
For three days, Tobias remained underground with his son. When the third day had passed, so did he. Terrance was left alone, confused, and immortal.[/div]
Though he had been walking through the underground tunnels aimlessly, he found himself at the train station. It was strange to think that he had been so engrossed in his thoughts of murder and death, that he hadn't even smelled the intoxicating scent of human blood. A meal certainly sounded lovely. After all, Analiese needed time to replenish her blood, or else she'd end up in the hospital. Again. His lips cracked into a smile at the thought. Analiese was the one who'd given him his nickname; Terrydactyl. She was hopped up on morphine at the time, calling him the strangest of names. Terrydactyl was by far his favorite, though he'd likely tear anyone to shreds if they called him that - save Analiese, of course; she could call him anything she wished. Analiese was special. That was why Terrance would drink from her, but never kill her. His precious sister. The only one who was able to get a smile on his face.
Slipping his hands lazily into his pockets, the young monster proceeded to walk through the train station. His dark eyes looked at the many faces, taking seconds to profile them, to pick and choose his targets. In his human life, Terrance would often befriend those he targeted, gaining their trust, until he did finally strike. As a vampire, however, he found that his patience wasn't quite as thick. Blood, killing, was essential. Without it, he would perish. And he was far too great a being to be wiped off the Earth due to something as ridiculous as starvation. Plus, Analiese would likely go insane and kill herself or something. Not that Terrance would be any different, should his beloved sister fall to her own death. The two were abnormally close; some even going as far as to imply the two were incestuous. It was a crazy thought to Terrance. Sure, he loved Ana, but sexually? Not likely. Sex, with Terrance, meant he would cause his partner some type of physical pain. That's what got him off, what excited him. Harming Analiese was absolutely out of the question.
Besides, although he thought his sister was beautiful, there wasn't any sexual attraction. She was his sister, and their little kisses and affectionate hugs - and the fact that he drinks from her - are simply shows of sibling care. They'd been through a lot together. It was their right to show that they appreciated the other's company. Terrance sighed and shook his head. It was insane how his thoughts always seemed to wander to Analiese, no matter what he thought about. Dark, nearly black eyes continued to scan over the various faces as he stepped onto the train. He wasn't really sure where the train was headed, but it wasn't like it mattered. He could always find his way back, like a dog. As his eyes quickly ran over the humans - along with one or two other vampires - he finally came to stop at one girl in particular. A nervous, rather shy-looking girl. Alone. She looked like she was running away; her clothes were filthy and ripped, her hair matted, and she certainly smelled like she hadn't showered in quite some time. He wrinkled his nose; as much as he loved the outdoors, he didn't like dirty. Still, beggars can't be choosers.
And now it was a matter of waiting for the perfect opportunity. Like a leopard, Terrance relied mostly on his sheer wit and ability to outmaneuver and outsmart his prey. He lay in wait, muscles flexing, readying themselves for the inevitable chance to pounce and strike. And in the odd chance his prey managed to skit from his claws, Terrance was confident that he would be able quicken himself, use his speed and strength to sever his prey's legs, cause them to be immobile. Yes, he was very much like a large feline. He worked alone and stalked his meals, using his mind to formulate plans that would definitely, without fail, bring the defenseless, ignorant being down to its demise; into the jaws of Death personified.
The Death Gods must have looked upon their minion and deemed him worthy. At the next stop, the runaway stood and exited, leaving behind a bag. It likely held the bare necessities a runaway would need, and the poor girl would just be oh-so-devastated should it be lost. Terrance just had to be the good person and return the girl her bag. Licking his lips, the male made his way around the people; practically gliding through them quickly, he reached the bag and exited the train. Dark eyes followed the girl, watching as she continued to leave. He followed behind, keeping a distance, waiting for her to be alone. She must have had a sixth sense - after all, it was hard not to feel the hungry eyes of a predator on you, watching your every move - as the girl's pace quickened. She would turn every now and then, catching Terrance's eyes. It wasn't like he was hiding or anything. He didn't need to.
The hunter continued to move easily through the crowd; not slowing down, not speeding up. The girl began to panic, nearly tripping in her attempt to get away from the strange man following her. Terrance smirked, finding her panic enjoyable. She made a wrong turn; found herself nearly running into a wall. Moving quickly, the dark-haired male stood behind her. When she turned, his prey jumped, and he could hear her heartbeat pounding sporadically in her chest. The mere sound sent a shiver down his spine, delighting in the way he cause such fear to invade the young girl. With a small smile, he held up the bag. ”You forgot this on the bus; I only wished to return it,” his words were spoken smoothly, elegantly, as was the norm with Terrance. He rarely spoke like the Texan-born child he was; instead, choosing a far more sophisticated way to speak. Of course, there were rare moments when his southern twang and use of phrases uncommon in the North came into play.
For a moment, the girl simply stared at the bag. Terrance watched the emotions fly through her eyes; fear, uncertainty, shame, and finally, relief. A small, shy smile spread across her lips, and she reached for the back.
”I deserve some sort of payment.”
Before the girl could properly speak, Terrance had her pressed to the wall and his fangs buried in her jugular. Her blood filled his mouth and he gulped it down eagerly; like a child eating candy. She whimpered and tried to push him away, which he ignored. [/div]
