"Poor bastards..."she said with an apathetic sigh. Each name only spelled out another person that had lost to death. Death was known to take away the one gift that mattered, but here Maggie was walking among the deceased looking not a day over twenty three despite the fact she had been looking this beautiful since 1924. Her pace was steady as she trailed alongside the cemetery from one grave to the next. After a few minutes she came to a mausoleum that instantly caught her eye.
"Talsmen?!" a mixture of confusion crossed her face and in an instant she was closer. She hadn't heard that name since 1921 and she wondered if this had been the man she had once been courted by. As she examined the rusty plate a smile crept up on her face. After a few seconds it had become rather clear that she had just reunited with a rather annoying ex. It humored her slightly that she was able to walk around a building that housed his remains. She had always tossed around the idea of visiting him herself as soon as her transformation had occurred (she did quiet a few visits of revenge when she was a newborn). "Forgot you were from New Jersey...small world you happen to be from here." she said smugly patting the marble.
It was still rather strange being so young in a time she knew she should have been rotting six feet under like the rest of them if it hadn't been for luke. No one she knew from her past was still alive other then her sister and luke...but that of course was because of supernatural causes. Deciding to keep up with her moonlit walk, she pressed on. She was hoping at some point unsuspecting teens would break in and try to catch some paranormal footage of a spirit calling out from the grave. It was getting closer to Halloween which meant more and more teens would be getting in the ghost hunting spirit, which to her meant easy meals and human toys to glamor into shopping for her during the day. Hopefully someone would be showing up soon. She was getting restless.

So what was Buffy Dior doing in a graveyard at this time of night, especially when his last encounter didn’t end so well? “Woof!” Buffy called before rolling his eyes at his own stupidity. He lurched back from behind over towards the trees and let the raw steak in his hand drop. Yes, he was werewolf searching. Since he found out about them, he had been interested, searching all types of folklore about them, going to occult shops. He had so many questions and no answers. Like, why could he hear their thoughts, did they only turn on a full moon, why did they all react to him so…weirdly? He thought the smell of raw steak would bring them but it didn’t and he was too cheap to just leave it here. “Lookin’ like a night of Twilight and steak then…” He turned on his heels to see a familiar blonde leaving the mausoleum. He turned back around and ducked behind a grave. Being around vampires so much, he realized that he knew a few things and thinking ahead, he happened to bring some silver. He had been drinking silver infused beverages for a while but the going out part kind of hurt, needless to say he stopped those treatments.
He wrapped the steak up and put them back into his pack. Looking over the grave, he saw she was just standing there and he decided to move. One grave, to another he slowly made his way out of the graveyard. He was out and completely on the right said of the huge gate marked ‘Graveyard’ when he saw something shining in the distance. Whatever it was, was big and black, maybe navy blue. He walked over to it slowly and looked through a tree that the object was behind. It was a sedan, he was bad with cars. But there were three more behind it, off the beaten path. “Shi-“ Before he could finish, he stepped on an empty beer can. Fucking teenagers, not that he was that old but they didn’t know what was in the graveyard and they were now a little drunk.
He turned on his heels and raced back to the graveyard, how could he have not passed the teenagers? There must have been, at the most sixteen kids, four to a car. He kept running, thankfully, he ran every night so he was pretty fast. He snuck up on the kids quickly. “Hey! Get out of here now…” He warned them, shouting as he approached them.

The shuffle of feet and muffled thud of car doors in the distance lit up Maggie's. Soon though, it twisted with confusion as she picked up the faint scent of the fae (unknown to her at the time of course). Without hesitation Maggie bolted off towards the teens, her fangs extending as she got nearer to them. She must have looked like just a blur to the fae as she sped past him grabbing a teen and snapping his neck; allowing for only a short groan to escape his lips. Kill first, eat later. That was always her motto. As the body dropped to the ground her attention focused on the others around her. She was now aware that buffy was near but at that time she paid no attention to him. She was betting money that he was going to be gawking at her next display. "All of you look here, look at me now. No use running because I'll always be faster. Even with so many of you." she cooed as her eyes narrowed. As each of the teens eyes met hers her trace began to take effect. "You all are going to meet me later at the Halloway mansion. Some of you will live and others will die. Each of you will bring me a dress you think would suit me best. Depending on your fashion sense will determine your fate. Not a word about your friend either as far as you know he was already dead."
The teens quickly piled into the car and went speeding off into the night, leaving buffy, a body, and maggie alone. Picking up her prize she smirked as her eyes met Buffy's. "So nice of you to join me for dinner. I wasn't expecting a guest." her fangs sunk into the boy as her gaze stayed fixed on Buffy. She was carefully planning her next move. Despite the fact she was currently filling up on a fresh meal, Maggie still wanted the blood she had been deprived of. She still wanted Buffy. The body dropped to the floor as she began to lick the crimson from her lips. "No wolf to save you now. I'm not even on their territory. So cut with the cat and mouse game and just behave." In an instant she was face to face with him smirking coldy. There was still room for him to escape and part of her was counting on that. She loved the chase.

SNAP! Buffy turned to see Maggie, the blur had already passed and she just broke someone’s neck. “Oh no…” Buffy said. Buffy watched her, innocence in his eyes and face. Never before had he seen a vampire try and influence a bunch of people at once but now he knew it was possible. He looked at the teenagers determined to stop what Maggie was doing to them. “Stop! Don’t look at her!” he shouted running over and blocking their line of vision to her but it was too late. One girl actually pushed him out of her way and started to walk to their cars. Buffy grabbed one by the scruff of his pants and pulled but he just kept walking. He knew what she was doing, he was going to be next. She took a boy and drank from him, looking at Buffy the entire time. “Well excuse my manners, maybe I should have phoned a head of time?” Buffy said with a sarcastic spiciness. He wanted to move, wanted to run but to where? There was no way that he was going to stop and just let her kill him. He was going out with a fight, until his death he was determined to at least talk a lot of shit and piss her off. “So if Vampires heal from all wounds and stuff, why is it that when your peroxide your hair it doesn’t go back to his natural-“ He stopped, she moved closer to him.
He swallowed, fear in his eyes, his pulse was going back up and his hands sweating. There was just enough room for him to run. He didn’t know how far he could make it but all he needed was enough time to get some stuff from his back pack. He smirked at her, “Your nose must be a little off, maybe it’s the age but my werewolves are right there.” He said then leaned over so he could see the wolves, “hey guys! It worked she’s all yours…” Buffy said then turned to run. He tripped for a second, a fatal mistake but soon regained his balance. He dove into the mausoleum and opened his back pack, reaching inside for the piece of chain that he had inside.

He really was putting on quite a show for her trying to get the teens to stop what they were doing. It was no use. What had been done was done.“So if Vampires heal from all wounds and stuff, why is it that when your peroxide your hair it doesn’t go back to his natural-“ He became silent the second she moved towards him and her smirk grew wider."Magic..." she said flattery boring into his eyes with her own. Like she had predicted he jetted off after mumbling something about wolves. Her eyes darted around the area as she let out a growl. Maybe he was psyching her out? She could still pick up his scent which was one of the many perks of being a vamp. In a matter of seconds she had forgotten about the so called wolves and took off after him.
"You know...I'm not stupid. Big marble stoney walls aren't going to do much good. Hiding is basically useless when it comes to vampires. We can smell our victims from miles away." Now walking close to where he was she narrowed her eyes on his hideout. She began to plan her next move as her smirk grew wider."Especially you. I could probably pick you out from a room full of people. Your smell is something I have never come across before. It's not hard to locate a sweet smell like that. I bet you taste even better." In an instant she was in front of him, grabbing him and pushing him violently up against the wall. She didn't wait to hear a response before he fangs sunk deeply into his neck. The taste amazed her and she automatically wanted more, her grip on him tightened as she took it in. What on earth was this stuff?

Seemed like everything was no moving in slow motion, there he was in a mausoleum; a vampire draining his life from him, and all he could think about was what would happen after. Would she bury his body or would she just leave him there? What would his parents think when they got the call, did they actually know what he was and just never told him? He stopped his thoughts, sickened with himself. He wasn’t just going to accept defeat and start planning his funeral music just yet. What made her think that she could suck his blood and drain him. She made him sick and he was going to use that anger to get out of this. He tried to move but she was in his neck deep and he started screaming. He screamed so loud that he knew he would be hoarse tomorrow.
He put his hands on her forearms, pushing her off of him, “get off!” He said but she didn’t move a bit. He reached for her face, “I’m not dying today…” He told her. He could feel something inside him growing and the winds outside picked up. Little swirls moved the leaves, the branches on the trees swayed and knocked against the mausoleum. He was unaware of his effect on this and thought nothing of it. He started to push her away from him and was stunned that it was actually working. Since when was he stronger than a vampire? His eyes scanned her arms and his hands as he kept pushing, with an iron grip on her arms until they were face to face. His eyes darted all over, was it just him or did he somehow seem stronger? He looked at Maggie surprised then cracked a smile with an eyebrow raised. His right hand formed into a fist and he punched her square in the face with all the force he could muster.
“Oh……My…..God…..-!!” He looked at his arms, and fists impressed with himself, “I’m strong.” He told himself and then looked at Maggie, “I can fight you…” He told her. “My turn…” He said as he walked towards her.

It had completely caught Maggie off guard. All of a sudden she felt herself thrown off him with a great force before being punched. She stumbled back slightly her eyes widening at the sudden force that Buffy had seemed to acquire. It wasn't long before a snarl escaped her lip and she launched herself back at him biting him in various places as she slammed against him with an intense force. She had been insulted and now she was going to step up her game to recover. "So you want to fight now don't you?" she swung a few punches no longer concerned with his blood. At the moment she was satisfied but her craving for it was still there.
Maggie felt a little stronger now oddly enough, as if the blood had given her a bit of a power boost. Luckily it wasn't an ego booster, she already had a big enough one as it was. "I don't know what the hell you are but I wont let you throw me around like that!" Picking the fae up she ran out of the mausoleum with him before throwing him across the graveyard. "Don't mess with me you little piece of dirt!" She was embarrassed and that only led to more anger and more aimless destruction. In an instant she was back at his side and smirking. "Now, where were we?" she smirked before biting into his neck and going to back to were she left off.

Buffy slammed into a tombstone breaking it in two, he grabbed a large piece of it as Maggie made her way back over. He had anticipated her coming back for more of his blood. The various spots that she bit into him were oozing blood and his shirt was almost soaked in it. Most of his shirt was tattered and in pieces that clung on for dear life. She was back on him, biting into his neck. “Bite this bitch...” Buffy held the rock hard in his hand and lifted it, slamming it into the back of her twice as hard as he could. “Ahh…” He let out a shout as he hit her the third time. She was much faster than him but if he could only get her to slow down then he could win this fight. He turned his head, forcing her out of his neck and ducked under her arms. He froze for only a second staring at her and letting the rock drop from his hand. All the anger that he had from all vampires that just thought they could bite him w/o consequence was building in him, he called on that anger in his next strike.
He lifted his foot and slammed into her stomach, much like trying to break down a door. He was a dancer, at least in the past; he mostly consisted of lower body strength. He had a sick smile on his face, allowing his fae inside of him to take over. He looked around again for more weapons that he could use on her when something glistening caught his eye. He happened to land by the rock that he left his chain near and started to run towards it before Maggie could make her way over to him. Run Buff! If I could just get to it. He knew she would be right on his tail so as soon as he grabbed it, he’d whip it back at her. I’ll kill her he swore. It never dawned on him that someone might be helping him. The winds were fierce but he took no notice, his hair just swept all over his face and his tattered shirt playing in the wind.
His eyes were on the prize and that was survival.

Maggie gave a grunt as she felt herself stumble to the ground after the headstone smashed over her. She was disoriented for a brief moment, trying hard to get herself back to her feet and running in the right direction. His sudden strength was catching her off guard and it was hard to focus with so many questions buzzing around in her head. The wind was now fierce and violent. She found it rather odd but she tired not to think too much into things. Kicking up the dirt once again she ran after buffy. It was clear the amount of confusion that seemed to be surfacing within her. The frustration on her face just really said it all. It was almost as if she had been already defeated.
It wasn't long before she caught back up to him. There was a change in Buffy as well and it slightly made her uneasy. The once frightened victim seemed to be a determined fighter. She could see in his eyes that he wasn't going to give up easily, she could also tell that he wanted her dead and wouldn't stop until he followed through. Maggie of course was just as stubborn. There was no way she was just going to turn around and accept defeat. As far as she was concerned she was still in the fight and she planned on fighting back just as hard. Hovering above the ground she raced towards him, her eyes fixed on her his neck. She was going for the kill.

Buffy reached it in seconds before Maggie was on top of him, pinned to the ground. He still had his chain in his hand and she had seriously underestimated him. Hell, he underestimated himself, thinking he wasn’t strong enough to deal with this. Buffy balled the chain up in his hand and shoved it into her mouth when she tried to bite him. Then he slid out from under her and backed up, not letting his back open to her attacks. Buffy ran to a nearby tree and kicked it as hard as he could. “Fuck!!” He said shaking his now injured toes. “Okay, not that strong…” He said and searched for another weapon. He knew should would be up by now so he turned to her. “Give it up…” Buffy told her. “You’re not killing me tonight.” He told her. She was strong and he was just growing weaker and weaker. He had been bleeding for the last five minutes, and a lot. He huffed trying to catch his breath. It showed on his facE that he was thinking something over before he asked quite comically, “hold up. Who are you?” She had tried to kill him several times but he didn’t even know her name.
It wasn’t like they had time to sit down and talk about it or ask about it. And he just now thought about the fact that he had no idea what her name was. “You know its rude to try to kill people. You crazy bitch.”

Maggie fell backwards as soon as she bit into the chain, a string of pain running up to her gums caused she to cry out in immense pain. Jumping to her feet again she threw the chain down and gave a growl. "My name is Maggie Evans I apologize for not making the introduction I don't normally remember my manners around food." she said with a cold smirk. “You know its rude to try to kill people. You crazy bitch.” Maggie roured with laughter. "Crazy bitch?! I'm a vampire, I am supposed to kill people. That is how I live. If I don't drink blood, then I get weaker. Your blood just happens to be more appealing then the others. That is why you are so lucky." she walked towards him slowly studying his movements and bracing herself for any other stunts he might pull.
"I have to admit though, this is a bit fun don't you think? You are getting quite a work out with me. I like that though, the meals that are the hardest to get are always the best." she smiled baring her fangs again as she gave another laugh. Her eyes locked on him as she stepped closer and closer to her target.

Buffy glared at Maggie, his fists tight ready for her attack. “I’m not food!!” He yelled to her, all his frustration boiling over. When Maggie laughed at him it just made him even more, “you think this is funny? You’re not even a good vampire.” He switched hips that he was resting on and counting on his fingers as he talked. “And here’s why, first, why would you kill your source of food when their blood is so rare? Why not harvest it. Secondly, you can’t kill me and I’m only human. Thirdly, aren’t vampires supposed to be attractive and fourthly, you can’t even fend off a werewolf.” He told her, dropping his hands. “My stuffed teddy bear is more threatening than you. You’re ridiculous.” Buffy told her. Buffy stepped towards her as she stepped towards him, “on second thought let’s just end this now.” He told her as he took off in a sprint towards her, aiming to tackle her and go for her teeth. If he could knock out her teeth, she would no longer be a problem. Plus, it would be really funny. “I don’t mind the workout. Especially when I am kicking ass like I am now.”

It was one thing to attack her abilities as a vampire, it was another thing to attack her looks as one. Maggie was extremely vain and the statement about beauty really made her undead blood boil, if that was even possible. "You little shit!!!" she growled as her eyes narrowed and she braced herself for an attack. She figured letting him hit her would be the best opinion, he would be close enough so that she could pin him down and finish what she had started. Her eyes narrowed as she extended her fangs. "We will see how much ass you really kick."
Then in an instant she was tackled to the ground, making it easier for him to pin her as she allowed her legs to give out from under her. She needed to play weak. She didn't think he could do much damage in the first place so she wasn't so worried.
