WITCHES & PSYCHICS GUIDE----------------
Witches[/color]
Witches are pretty much self explanatory. If you have any questions please feel free to pm one of the admins. Pretty much we are leaving this up to you guys. Just keep in mind that witches tend to be more aware of the paranormal etc. Witches are like humans but with the ability to cast spells so on and so on. Humans CAN'T just pick up a book and become a witch. You have to be born with a sense and ability to pick up on powers from beyond this world.
Some witches possess the ability of immortality. This can be given to them by witches beyond the grave or given to them from powers beyond our world. Although immortality possesses great power, they are not always as in control of their powers and great amounts of spells at a time can cause serious damage to a witch (such as fainting, noise bleeds, and loss of powers and or control of powers for a short amount of time).
RARELY has a witch possessed the ability to control other supernatural being such as the dead (vampires) and those controlled by the moon (Weres). Information on these witches are hard to come by (aka will be revealed as the plot progresses).
What is know is that ALL supernatural powers are from beyond this world. All supernatural species are connected to this so called energy and witches are the ones that seem to be tuned into it best.
Clairvoyance
Clairvoyance is the ability to sense things beyond the five senses (being able to tell things about a person, place, or event by touch, sound, sight etc.)
Telepath
The ability to hear other people's thoughts makes it difficult for them to talk to people as they hear people's secrets and desires. This can cause problems as most people think things they do not say because they think they are too spiteful or cruel to say. However, there are good points to being able to hear people's thoughts, such as being able to stop people from self-harming. If someone cannot control their ability properly, they will find it difficult to live in normal human society.
Telepaths can hear all the thoughts of humans. They cannot, however, hear the thoughts of vampires. They find it difficult to hear the thoughts of shapeshifters and other non-human creatures. However, it seems they can read werewolves thoughts. They will hear thoughts in the person's own voice.
Telekinetic
The next is telekinetics (those that can move objects with their mind);
The term psychokinesis, also referred to as telekinesis, is a term that refers to the direct influence of mind on a physical system that cannot be entirely accounted for by the mediation of any known physical energy (i.e. moving objects with the mind). Examples of psychokinesis could include distorting or moving an object, and influencing the output of a random number generator.
In effect telekinesis can be used to: move, spin and stop objects with the mind; Speed up or slow down the naturally occurring vibrations of atoms in matter to alter temperature; Self levitate (rising in the air unsupported, flying); Influence events (sports, gambling, election, prolongation of life, etc.); And in some cases it can be used to move body matter so that walking through things is possible.
Precognition
Precognition, also called future sight, is a type of extrasensory perception that involves people gathering future information that cannot be deduced from presently available and normally acquired sense-based information or laws of physics and/or nature. A premonition/precognition is a presentment of information about future events that is perceived as emotion. To make it clearer, a precognitionist may have a dream about someone dying in a car crash then days later it happens. Another example would be someone touching something and getting a vision from it.
Most precognitionists try to prevent what they see from happening.
Bilocationists
And finally there's bilocationists (those that can be in two places at once.)
Bilocation, or sometimes multilocation, is a term used to describe the ability/instances in which an individual or an object is said to be, or appears to be, located in two distinct places at the same instant in time. For example, one person could be in a club whilst another version if that person is sitting at home with their wife. Alternatively, a criminal could be getting questioned by the police but at the same time they're robbing a bank.
