[atrb=style,background-color: transparent,bTable] hey guys. my name is lynette alexandria roche, but you can call me lyn. everyone else does, so i guess you can too. i'm twenty six years young, and if it isn't already obvious, i'm a female. it should be. what isn't so obvious is the fact that i'm a witch, but you can keep that a secret for now. |
personality
Me? What do you want with me? I don't like giving interviews. But, well, if you insist. I'm just your average girl. Something wrong with how I look? It reflects my personality, thank you very much. You see, I'm what you would consider an outsider. I love meeting new people and all but, well, I'm not as outgoing as I would like to be. I can be very very shy. What? You don't believe me. Well who asked you anyway. I like to stick out. People seem to pick on me but what do I care? I like being me. I can be a real sweety if I wanted to. Just like I can be a bitch. It all depends on how people are treating me. That is, when I'm not going all flustered. That usually happens when I'm around guys... or vampires. Are they just dreamy? I don't know why but... I like vampires. They are just gorgeous and perfect and... sorry. Off task. I know, It won't happen again. As a witch, I'm quite talented. I like using my natural talents to get things that I want. Granted, with the rile of three, it is not as good as it sounds. My likes? Well. I love art. Love love love art. And I have a fondness for all things kittens! I especially adore my familiar, Angel. She's the cutest little black and white kitten you could ever imagine! You don't know what a familiar is? Tough luck. I'm not here to give you a damned lesson, kid. I agreed to this to help you with whatever it is you wanted. Be lucky I'm doing that much. Anyway. I like music and dancing. Oh, especially in the rain! And, what I love a lot, other than my magic, are two-formeds. They are so cool in my book.
My dislikes? No you are asking for way too much. Fine. Just because you seem so nice. Just don't interrupt me. I hate people who think they know everything about, well everything. And people who are snotty. And... well.. most regular old humans to be honest. They can get on my nerves with their attitudes about people who are different. I'm not too fond of coffee either. Or bees. They freak me out. A lot. God, just thinking about them give me the shivers.
history
Me? I was actually born in England. Never would have guessed, would you? That's because when I was five, my parents died. Oh, don't go telling me sorry. It was a long time ago. You see, my god mother and father lived right her in Jamerson falls. The cool thing was, my god parent were also my aunt and uncle. And they took me in. I loved them. They home schooled me and taught me all sorts of things. When I was sixteen, they gave me a book. Said it was one that my mom used to keep with her everywhere. I was so intrigued, I opened it right away to start reading. It was what changed my whole view of the world. It was my mothers gremoire.
It was pretty much starting there that I learned what I was. A witch. And not just a witch, but one in a long line of very influential and power witches too. You wouldn't believe how crazy I thought it was. I thought it was a joke at first. It took me a few months to accept it but, well, the more I found out about it, the more I grew to accept it and, well, adore it really. magic was incredible. I kept learning and learning. Soon, my aunt was taking me with her to all sorts of coven meeting and what have you. It was fun. And I was good at it. It relaxed me. A lot. Now that I'm twenty six, though... I'm on my own. I know for a fact that I haven't learned everything. And that i have a lot to learn yet. I want to learn from a master. And I will someday. Or at leat I hope. I wanna make my mum proud. I want my families name to live on forever. Or that i would. That would be neat too.[/div]
Diamond was in her kitchen. It was still horribly screwed up, but she didn’t mind. A little burnt crap here and there wasn’t as bad as it seemed, though it did reek of chemicals. Ah, the smell of the chemicals was sweet to her, but not too many others thought so. To hell with what they thought, though. It wasn’t like she was making it for them to like the smell of it! Oh, no no. The venoms and gases that she was making were variations of the infamous Joker Gas and Venom that she her mother had left lying around in the chemistry lab. Diamond had perfected it and rerouted it just enough to work for her. It had a purple tint to it and was a bit different. It seemed to attack the nervous system more and added a few ticks that the usual Joker stuff didn’t have. It varied from person to person really. She grinned as she finished up her very own ‘Jester Venom’ and ‘Jester Gas’. It wasn’t the most original name in the world, but it was original enough. She put her venom and gas into it’s appropriate holders and slipped them into her belt. The belt wasn’t on her yet and wouldn’t be until she was completely dressed.
Diamond took very little time to get really ready. She took her civilian clothes off and slipped into her costume, leaving off the cape. It was just there for fun, whenever she really felt like wearing it. That was rare, though. She usually didn’t use the cape. She then did her hair. Her hair always had a playful flare to it, to reflect her kiddish and innocent appearance. She brushed it up into two ponytails, leaving them rather curly at the end. Diamond used a black hair tie to keep them up and then used a specially made, purple, ribbon-like hair tie as decoration on each one, faux bells hanging on them that were identical to the faux bells on her costume. Her bangs were swept to the left side and pinned there for the moment. Her makeup came after. She was great at doing her makeup, mainly because she had done it so often. The young criminal used white greasepaint and painted face a ghastly, pale white. The best part was that it was pretty much perfect and that was how she liked it. She then used some mascara and did up her eyes before using her dark purple lipstick and coating them lightly with it. She put in her amethyst colored contacts, that worked rather well to make her eye color change look natural, and finished up by putting on the black dynamo mask that her mother had let her keep.
Diamond’s ‘transformation’ was almost complete. All that was left was her belt. It was quite similar to a utility belt and worked wonders with making everything hands free. She didn’t need to carry around her usual bag of tricks. The girl slipped on her purple gloves and finished up by placing on her specially made Jester shoes. They looked rather normal to, well, anyone! But, as she placed a bit of extra pressure on the back of each heel to test them out, she watched as a small blade appeared from each sole. Jester grinned at her reflection, retracting the blades, and did a small twirl. She landed in a girlish pose, blowing herself a kiss. “Perfect!” she chirped, walking quietly out of her bathroom. She snook past her sleeping hyena’s and headed out of the window. She made her way down the fire escape and landed on the ground with stealth and finesse.
Now that she was completely ready and on her way, she began to wander what it was that she had wanted to do. Jess thought as she slunk through the back streets and alleyways. ‘I needed ta find myself a betteh hideout. I mean, I can’t just keep my babies an’ all a my things in this apartment. One a these days, tha piggies are gonna come an’ search my apartment an’ find out my secret! I can’t let that happen!’ she thought. A slow grin crossed her lips. That was right! She just couldn’t let that happen. But, then again, she would need a name for herself if she was ever going to get caught for anything.
Jester made her way to one of the bad, less inhabited parts of Gotham. The place where most baddies seemed to hide out when they really needed a place to keep their things. When they really needed to get away and be at peace to plot out all of the things that they needed to do! The sidewalks were rather empty where she was headed. She was going to find a hideout, scope it out, and then go have a bit of fun on the town, Jester style.
Jess started to whistle a little tune, skipping. She saw someone and immediately thought it was a civvie. ‘Or maybe one a tha three little piggies!’ she thought before going into a torrent of giggles. She covered her mouth to make sure that her laughter didn’t get too loud. When it did, it hurt peoples ear drums. Which, to be honest, was a rather nice side effect. It came from her father, to be honest. Probably one of the only things that she really loved to brag about when it came to bragging about what she inherited from her father. She got a lot of her mother’s looks but so little from her father.
Her eyes caught a good glimpse of the man and she paused. He looked so… so… familiar. Jester blinked and rubbed her eyes a bit theatrically, as if she was trying to see if it was just something in her eyes that was making her see something that wasn’t there. But, she was seeing everything correctly. This guy, he looked strikingly similar to an old picture her mother had. A picture that had been hung up in the old chemistry lab. He looked just like the… the… the… “The Joker…” she whispered before a wicked little grin began to cross her lips. My oh my, if this was the real thing… or, more like it, his son… then Jester was happy she went out today. She needed a name for herself. And, who better to help her than someone who is probably an expert on making themselves a name. Then again, she hadn’t heard of a Joker since her moms stories… and Selena, but that was a totally different story, right? For now, though, Jester quickly ran and hid in one of the alley’s. Better safe than sorry, right? Besides, she’d rather be able to follow him and try to get him secluded before talking than run right into him.[/div]
