Eventually Brodir flew over the location of his apartment building. By his apartment building he meant literally, he'd purchased it when he decided to move into it. Brodir came to a landing on the roof, as this was his most often used method of coming and going. Flying was just more efficient he thought to himself. Besides the flight over had given Brodir time to contemplate his question, it was not often that Brodir related the story, of how he was made vampire, to others. Hopefully the trip here would have helped Buffy to forget about it. Brodir looked at Buffy, "Follow me downstairs to my place, its not far, I live on the top floor", he said. Actually Brodir was the only occupant on the top floor, he didn't rent the other ones out, that way he didn't have to listen to the neighbors.
Brodir entered his apartment with Buffy trailing behind him, "Welcome to my humble abode". Brodir's apartment was decorated in a lot of the things he has accumulated over the years. Many of them weapons, and many of them now adorned the walls. He also had various artifacts he had accumulated from his travels. Not everything was archaic, he had a very modern, and very expensive, home theater system. He also has a very nice kitchen, but he never actually uses that.
"I would offer you something, but I am afraid I don't have anything but tap water." It's not like a thousand year old vampire needs much anyways he told himself. Besides Brodir never had much company over here after all. In fact Buffy would be the first non-vampire to have come in here. "So where do we go from here my guest?"

TASTE ME, drink my soul
Buffy’s feet touched the ground silently and he let go of Brodir. He wanted to hold onto the vampire for a little bit longer, not that Brodir didn’t already have him wrapped around his finger, but Buffy didn’t have to make it any easier. He was worried about how Brodir actually viewed him. In his eyes, being a vampire was something cool and adventurous but after a while a vampire would surely get bored and cut off all human interaction. Was Buffy just a snack for Brodir or did he actually care? Why had he come over to Brodir’s so willingly and why was everything moving so fast? He looked at Brodir as he followed the vampire downstairs. Was Brodir simply entertaining a stupid human man or did he view him as an equal. His insecurities weren’t hard to read on his face but he simply tried to cover them up with a smile.
He entered Brodir’s house and looked around, everything looked so old yet modern at the same time. He didn’t know how Brodir had found the perfect mix of old and modern but it worked. “Nice place Brodir…” Buffy complimented. He turned to walk next to Brodir, he had absentmindedly walked around the place. “Tap water is fine…” Buffy told Brodir. “I guess you wouldn’t have too many human things here. Luckily, I just ate.” Buffy told him. When Brodir asked where do they go from here, Buffy turned to look at him. “I see your dodging my question about your turning. I guess we can talk about something else. Like all the vampire myths. Like how is it that I can’t talk to many vampires cause they’ll want to bite me but your showing such good self-control?” Buffy asked.
“And why exactly did you bring me here?” Buffy asked, his insecurities rearing their ugly head again.

Brodir retrieved a clean glass from one of the cabinets in his mostly unused kitchen. Brodir listened to Buffy speak as he turned to go to the sink but stopped remembering some of the features of his expensive refrigerator. The refrigerator contained a built in ice maker and water dispenser. While it was true there was no ice as Brodir never ran the ice maker, there was a temperature setting for the water, so it could still be served chilled. Brodir smiled, he did have more to offer a human than warm tap water. He had cold filtered water from the refrigerator, at least it was a small step up. Perhaps I should stock something more for human guests Brodir thought. Then again he wasn't all that sure he'd wanted more human guests knowing where he lived. When actually hunting, Brodir preferred to go to their residence instead of his.
"Yes I am dodging your question about how I was made vampire. The story of my making is a sensitive tale I have told very few... perhaps another time." Brodir found it unlikely that he would relate that story anytime soon, it would take some sort of great trauma to another or something similar to get Brodir to tell such a private story. After all, he wasn't exactly proud of many of the events that transpired that night. They weren't exactly painful memories, though there had been pain, its just that he was embarrassed at his own mortal hubris.
"As well as the vampire myths out there, there are are many." Vampires have stalked mankind every night for millennia, there was bound to be thousands if not millions of myths regarding his species. "Not to mention the fact that many of these myths originate from every corner of the globe." Again anywhere you found a significant population of humans through out history, you'd find vampires. "I personally love all of the myths out there, its truly amazing just how wrong you humans have gotten so very wrong." Then again vampires had helped with that a little, spreading rumors and misinformation. Some of the more wild tales had even helped keep vampires hidden for all these thousands of years. The best of those being that vampires don't cast a reflection, Brodir loved that one. It had kept the superstitious looking for people with no reflections for so long that they actually ignored the vampires among them.
Brodir hesitated a little bit at the next question Buffy had posed, the question about his blood and Brodir's own self-control. It was true that Buffy's blood seemed nearly irresistible, but Brodir prided himself on his self-control as well as his own sense of honor. "I am one thousand and twenty-one years old, self-control is a fine tuned habit of mine. Not all vampires are bloodthirsty monster you know." Brodir was faining the insult, he really wasn't sure why, perhaps that he just enjoyed toying with Buffy.
"Why exactly did I bring you here? The answer to that is simple, I brought you here in hopes of seducing answers out of you." However Buffy had been pretty forthcoming with answers without the need for excessive seduction. "You have been very forthcoming with my answers, and I do have more, but I do not think you can actually answer them." So now that he had many of his answers he was unsure of things now. "With that being said, I fear I no longer have an answer to the question."

Buffy’s eyes darted all around Brodir’s apartment when he left. It was late and usually didn’t stay out this long, but for this vampire he’d make an exception. Buffy’s heart was still racing, he was nervous. He would have to show more self-control around this vampire. He wasn’t acting like himself, and it was getting on his nerves. “Just relax…” He said inaudibly. He turned back around to see Brodir coming back with the glass of water in his hand. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to pry, I was just curious…” Buffy said falling silent. He knew for a fact that a vampires hidey-hole or ‘bed’ technically was something a vampire didn’t share but he didn’t think a story of origin was sensitive. There was a lot he would have to learn about human x vampire relations. He took a deep breath before he stepped closer to Brodir. He was interesting and Buffy just wanted to learn. He wanted to know everything, he was the curious one. Brodir has been all around no doubt and had so much experience and some good stories. Overall, his demeanor got Buffy the most. He was proud and confident enough to make a weaker man self-conscious. It was nothing he did but the way he carried himself. He had probably been through so much and wise in his years.
“I think the myths are a little insulting.” Buffy told him. “But I guess considering that for a while you didn’t want humans to know about you, it makes sense.” Buffy smiled. He perked up when Brodir mentioned his self-control. He put a hand on his neck, curious, yet again, to see what the bite would feel like. That was when he heard Brodir mention the fact that he would seduce him for answers to his questions. It was actually insulting and it stung. Buffy’s eyebrow’s furrowed, “answers? You brought me to your place to seduce me for answers? As in use me?” Buffy asked. He didn’t want to go completely off on Brodir, his vampirism aside, he just met the guy. He was willing to give Brodir some slack. “I don’t know what you thought was going to happen but not that if that’s what you meant.” Buffy asked him.

Brodir looked at the young man, "Yes I suppose you could say that I had wished to use you." Brodir then smiled at Buffy, "But the using you would have been fun." Brodir then dropped the smile and got a little more serious, "You see, the supernatural and other magical creatures of this world fascinate me. You were obviously not human, at least not entirely. I could tell by your scent and the potency of your blood." Brodir thought back to just how potent Buffy's blood had been. It had literally struck him near catatonic at one point. Brodir shook the thought from his head, "Can you blame me for my curiosity? Though I must thank you for being so forthright with me, I do sincerely appreciate that."
Brodir smiled again, "So if that is off the table, then what shall we do?" If there was to be no seduction anymore, Brodir guessed tasting his blood was also off the table. Oh well, if Buffy didn't like what Brodir was going to do, he wouldn't push things.
Brodir looked at Buffy again, with a quizzical expression on his face, "What exactly did you expect to happen tonight, when I invited you back to my place?" Brodir was curious as to what was going through the young telepath's mind at the moment. "Surely your intentions were close enough to mine if you were willing to go to a vampires place. A vampire you barely know I might add." Brodir raised an eyebrow, "What were your intentions? Should I be worried?" Brodir almost chuckled at the thought. He knew Buffy meant him no harm, but why was he here, Brodir waited for his answer.

Buffy took another gulp of his water, quickly finishing it as he let Brodir answer his questions. “How can using someone be…” Then a little bell in his head went ‘DING’ and he understood. “You mean…” Buffy let his voice fade out. “I am human. I just can read minds…” Buffy told Brodir feeling a wash of insecurity come over him and he took a step back. He looked around at the living room and found a seat on the couch. “My blood. You never told me what it smells like…” Buffy asked Brodir. Buffy became silent when Brodir asked if Buffy could blame him for his curiosity. Buffy was curious as to what he smelled like to, to what it was like for a vampire to taste his blood. When he was younger, he was bitten by several vampires but he had no recollection of them biting him. He was very curious about that.
“You’re not curious as to what I taste like?” Buffy asked him innocently. Little did Buffy know that asking that was like holding a giant red flag in front of a ravenous bull. “When you said to go somewhere to talk because it’s dangerous for someone to overhear our conversation, I believed you.” Buffy told him. “I try to believe in the best in people. Humanities all we have...well not anymore.” He finished casually.

Brodir eyed Buffy curiously, "Oh course I am curious. Though why do you seem to be." Brodir continued to stare at Buffy. "You know it could be very dangerous for you to be here. And if I did taste your blood, as powerful as it seems to be, I might not be able to stop." Brodir began to worry that he might not be able to control himself if he tasted Buffy's blood. After all, when Brodir came in contact with Buffy's blood earlier this evening he momentarily lost his senses. If that happened while feeding he would most likely wind up killing Buffy, and Brodir wouldn't want that. He has grown past the age of accidentally killing those he feeds upon, at least that is how he sees it.
Brodir looked at Buffy looking at him, "Sorry, I was lost in thought." Brodir looked down for a moment before continuing, "Perhaps this wasn't the best of ideas, inviting you back here to sate my own curiosity. I don't wish to bring you harm." Brodir looked over at the antique Grandfather clock over against the wall. "Would I be a terrible host if I asked if we could conclude this get together for the evening?" Brodir looked back at Buffy, "To be perfectly honest with you, I am questioning my ability to control my self around your blood, and since I am doing that already, I think it would be best if we parted ways for the evening."
Then Brodir thought of something that brought a smile to his face, "Plus you might want to let your co-workers know that you are all right, so they don't think I brought you somewhere and killed you." Brodir didn't need Buffy's co-workers thinking that. That last thing he wanted tonight was more police entanglements.

“It’s my body, my blood. Why wouldn’t I be curious…” Buffy asked him. It didn’t make sense to him as to why vampires thought he smelled so different from other humans. As far as he knew, he was human. Maybe it just had a rare blood type, he’d never been sick or had to get blood drawn. He was more than curious about his own blood, but he was curious about what it would feel like to be bitten. He had been bitten before but he was too young to remember. People described being bitten by a vampire, exotic and nice. There was a scientist that studied vampires and said they released certain hormones into the blood of their prey. Based on intent to kill, or please, it could feel hurt bad or really good. He touched his neck for a second, lost in his own thoughts and curiosity. “You’re right…” Buffy said simply in retort to him being in danger here.
He had an uncanny ability to get himself caught up in trouble, if not here than somewhere else. “But for some reason that is even more enticing…” He told Brodir. What did he think would happen when he came here? Did he want to be bitten by Brodir, was that why he came here? He could lie to the vampire but he couldn’t lie to himself. Buffy was slightly lost in his own thoughts when he noticed that Brodir was lost as well. Buffy smiled as he started to explain his lost in thought. “So was I…it’s fine…” Buffy said grabbing his jacket that he put on the couch. “Don’t apologize. I wouldn’t want to overstay my welcome, Brodir.” Buffy told him. Buffy started to walk to the door but then turned around to face Brodir. Just do it…. Buffy told himself. He walked back to Brodir rather quickly and kissed him. It was a soft kiss that he didn’t let last for too long but just long enough. He pulled away and smiled, a finger on his lips.
He turned back and walked to the door, opening it and turning back to Brodir, “think of me tonight?” he asked, not sure if her meant it rhetorically or seriously.
