It was one of those warm summer nights. A light breeze was blowing and the air was 82 degrees. The night appeared to be just another summer night. Little did Rose know there was a storm brewing. One that would shatter the quiet of the night and blow up a real problem for most everyone. Rose parked her car in the parking lot and got out. She was wearing a figure flattering pair of jeans and a light blue t-shirt. Her shoes were strappy high heels in a shiny black leather, about 3 inches high. She slung her small black leather handbag over her left shoulder and it dangled around her hip. Then she clicked the security lock on the door and made her way up to the door to the Club. The bouncer checked her ID and looked her over. Then he smiled and handed the ID back to her. She put it back inside her purse. Rose flashed him her prettiest smile but she was a little nervous not having met anyone in town yet. *Sounds like the place is already in full swing* she laughed as she walked past the big, burly guy. Rose wondered if all the rumors around town were true and if there really were Vampires about. <Maybe HE'S one for all I know> Rose thinks to herself as he opens the door for her. Then he speaks in a very deep voice and she turns to look at him a little closer. *Oh, this is nothin. Haven't seen ya around before. You new to town? If ya are, watch yer back. We have some unsavory types runnin round here. I'll make sure ya get back to yer car safe when yer ready to go, Rose* He winks at her and then looks at the line forming behind her waiting to get inside. *Sure, thanks and I'll keep my eyes open for signs of trouble* she smiles back then disappears into the darkness of the Club. As if she weren't nervous enough just trying to make some friends now she has to be on the look out for unsavory types. As if she could tell what an unsavory type even looked like. Apparently she did not have great instincts when it came to the opposite sex but she would be more careful this time. Rose made her way to the Bar and laid her purse on it as she folded her hands on the bar. She looked around and saw a lot of people. Some were engrossed with each other in conversation and some were dancing. Others just seemed to be looking for anyone of interest. Rose unfolded her hands and fidgeted with them nervously. She hoped no one noticed how nervous she was. Finally the bartender saw her and walked over to her. The music was loud and it was a little hard to hear so Rose leaned closer toward him *What'll ya have, Miss?* he asked her as he leaned his sculpted chest that was putting pressure on the seams of his tight shirt across the backside of the bar toward her. *Disoronno on the rocks please.* she said as she leaned forward so he could hear her. He reached around and got a clean glass then put some ice in it and poured the liquor over it. He placed a swizzle stick in it and set it down in front of her on the bar. Rose picked up the drink and removed the swizzle stick which she laid on the bar. She brought the drink to her lips and swallowed some of it down. Then she crossed her legs and kept her hand on the glass but looked around the room some more. She was starting to feel a little more at ease at least. With her left hand she ran it through her long hair and made sure it was in place.

The female sat on top of the building of the club. She wasn't all that sure why she had come here, she just figured it was because it was the easiest spot to grab a bite and not get caught. She looked down at the crowd that was in line. Everybody seemed to know about vampires now. She had, and now she was one thanks to a vampire named Maggie. She listened to the people talking in line, not all of them were humans. Sometimes there were fights here, while other times everybody just wanted a good time so they ignored the other species. It wasn't long before the line died out and only the bouncer stood outside. A girl had just finished parking her car and was walking up to the bouncer with ID ready. She watched the girl as she took her ID and walked inside.
There was something about this girl that made Christine want to find out more about her. She had never seen this girl before. She jumped down from the building and walked right in. The bouncer hadn't seen her sneak right past him. She followed the girl, her scent was so strong. The smell of this place was strong, she hated it. She wasn't the type of girl that liked drinking and she wasn't about to start. If she was human, she would have fainted by now. The scent of blood came into her nose. She had yet to feed, so the blood thirst was super strong. She walked over to the girl and sat down at the bar. "Hello. Are you new here?" She asked before looking at the bartender. "No thank you." She answered him, she wasn't there to have a drink.

Rose starts as a beautiful woman takes the stool beside her and asks if she was new here. Rose smiles and runs her hand over the napkin to dry the glass's condensation then holds her right hand out to the woman. *Yes, is it that apparent?* Rose laughs as they shake hands *My name is Rose, Rose Frost. I'm not really much into Clubs but I thought maybe I could make some friends that way. What's your name?* Rose is mesmerized by the woman's eyes. She's perfect! Absolutely NO FLAW anywhere on her. Rose has never seen such a beautiful creature.
After drinking most of her drink Rose was feeling more relaxed and had forgotten about the Bouncer's warning to watch her back. But this woman, she was no threat! How could she be? She was perfect after all. Rose leaned back in her chair and rested her back against the cushioned backrest. She placed her left elbow against the side of the backrest so she appeared far more relaxed than she had been. She dangled her foot as her crossed legs were anchored on the rim of the barstool ring that holds the legs of the stool. She swung her foot ever so slightly in time to the music that the band was playing in the far side of the room.
<maybe I've made my first friend here> Rose smiled as she felt like maybe this town was going to be a good place to settle in after all. She had had her doubts at first but some things just take time. Time was something Rose had a lot of these days.

Christine had to think for a second, "Sometimes it is, as for me though I just figured I would ask because I haven't seen you here before." She paused before shaking hands with Rose. "I don't come here often at all. I mean the music is great but I just don't drink." She pulled her hand back, hoping that Rose hadn't held it long enough to realize that her hand was freezing. "I'm Christine. Its nice to meet you." Christine seen Rose staring into her eyes and she wasn't all that sure of what to do. She looked away breaking the stare. She just sat in the set, before looking back at Rose again. "So you come here just to make friends then?" She was kind of confused why this women would be here out of all places just to make some friends.
"I mean people get drunk here, you may make friends but you might lose them too." She added, not trying to be rude but just stating her thoughts. Her stomach hurt, she wanted to drink blood so badly. This women's blood was so strong, but there was something about her, something that made her not want to lay a finger on her. She stood up from her seat. "I'll be right back." Her face looked like she was about to be sick. She turned and walked toward the bathroom. There she found herself a female. She grabbed a hold of her and bit into her neck to suck on her blood. She drained the women dry and then she placed her in the stall and left her there. She washed her hands and walked out of the bathroom.
She wanted more, she wanted more blood. She could smell so much blood in the club. She just wanted to drink every human dry. She walked back over toward Rose. "So is there any other reason why you are out here this evening?" She asked the women, smiling at her. If she gets to drunk, I am going to have to take her out by force. I hope I can just get her to come outside with me without her drinking so much.

Rose smiles again and tries not to stare at the woman but she is captivating. *I guess I just came to see what the place was like. I don't usually drink much myself. I know a Club is not the place to make friends for the most part but I don't work, at least not what most people would call work. I'm a writer so I'm home most of the time. I rarely find occasion to mingle and thought I'd check out the band. I hear they are one of the best in the area. Normally I like to go to the beach for fun.* Rose shifts in her seat and uncrosses her legs. She sips a little more on her drink *Do you like to go to the beach? I was thinking about maybe driving out there later on. Would you like to go along? We could check out the waves* That was one of her favorite things to do - just sit and watch the waves roll in and out and if there was a full moon even better.

Christine was feeling the pain in her stomach stronger. She wanted this women's blood, she wanted to suck her dry. She was fighting with herself trying to keep herself from biting this women right here and then. She listened to the women speak and she gave a small smile back. "I see, I understand what you mean." She answered her back, she didn't work either, but she really didn't. She had all the money in the world, she didn't have to worry about working to get to do things around here. Plus she is a vampire, now the only thing left in life to do is drink human blood to live, and look your best. Its not like you'll die from not having money when it came to being a vampire. She nodded her head to Rose, she liked going to the beach too.
She just smiled at Rose, she was going to drink her blood. Nothing was going to stop her now. "I love going to the beach, for me the night is the best time though. Only because its nice outside and peaceful." She answered back to the girl before adding, "I'd love to go to the beach with you later." She loved watching the waves. She didn't want to stay in this night club anymore. "I'll meet you outside." She answered Rose, to let her finish up. She went into the bathroom again, and moved the dead body out of the back door. She threw the body into the water. She heard a noise and there was a couple looking right at her. She couldn't have witnesses. She grabbed the man, sucking him dry, then the women.
Then she grabbed the man and threw him into the water. Before grabbing the women, she looked down to see that her white shirt was wet with blood. She took it off, and switched with the dead women. She threw the women into the water, and then pulled the pink tan top down all of the way. She hoped that nobody had seen that, else she would have to kill more people. She was feeling a little bit better now that she had killed two more people. Her stomach felt better, so now it was time to hang out with Rose before it changed its mind. She stood outside waiting for Rose to come out and the both of them to leave for the beach.

Rose had only had the one drink and felt fine to drive. But just to be safe she signaled the bartender once more. *Hey, can I get a coke to go please with a lid. I'm gonna head to the beach and I might need the caffeine to keep me awake.* she smiled as she laid a Twenty on the bar for him. *This should cover the drinks and give a nice tip as well. Thanks for everything*
Rose picked up the coke with the lid and stuck the straw into it then put her purse back up on her left shoulder and walked out of the Club. She was excited to go to the beach with Christine. She was pretty sure they had similar taste in music so that was good. As Rose opened the door to the outside the air smelled like it was going to rain soon. The breeze had picked up significantly and the ions in the air made it smell fresh and crisp. Rose saw Christine leaning against the wall waiting for her. She walked past the doorman who nodded at her and over to Christine. *Ready?* Rose glanced at Christine and then shook her head a little to clear an image. <I could have sworn she had on a white shirt but now out here it looks pink. Musta been the lights in there> [/blockquote] *I'm parked just over here.* Rose walked to her SUV and clicked the security locks open. The lights inside the car come on and illuminate the interior. The SUV is a beautiful teal green and the interior is a dark grey leather. She is driving a Cadillac Escalade. Brand new from the showroom of her Father's Dealership. *Hop in and let's head for the beach* Rose pulls her seatbelt around her and buckles it up <click> *Smells like rain so the waves should be fun to watch tonight. Just hope there's no lightning* Rose giggles but feels completely at ease with Christine. She really likes her.
