Christine walked into the hotel, after shopping for some new clothes again. She walked down the hall with her shopping bags, making her way towards her bed room. She opened the door up with her key and pushed it open with her foot and walked into the room. She walked over into the living room and set the bags down on the floor. She would deal with them later. She made her way into the bathroom, and turned the water on. She grabbed a washcloth off of the towel bar and got it wet with water, then started washing the makeup from off of her face. It was 9:00PM and she had been out all day long, she was so tired that she thought she might drop dead right there instead of getting into bed.
Once the makeup was all gone from her face, she grabbed the hand towel and dried her face and hands off. Then she left the bathroom and walked into the other room. Her window wasn't open last time, she learned from last time that it wasn't such a good idea anymore since that guy had gone into her room and attacked her. She couldn't help but think of Luke, he was different from the rest of the vampires. He was so nice to her and also understanding. She dropped the thought seconds later, because it was time to get in bed. She changed into her night clothes and went into bed. Now this is when the real problem had started. She was tired but couldn't fall asleep. She tossed and turned in her bed but nothing seemed to work, she just couldn't fall asleep.
It was 10:00PM before she finally manged to go to sleep. Then she work up two hours later. "12:00AM, just perfect...." She mumbled, trying to fall back asleep again. 12:05AM. She opened her eyes and looked at the time, it seemed she wasn't going to get much sleep tonight. Though this was common, and she always slept with the light on because she was scared of the dark. She pushed the blankets off of herself and got out of bed. She made her way into the bathroom and splashed herself in the face. "If I can't sleep I better go out, to find something to do." She whispered to herself, getting redressed into new fresh clean clothes. Now she wore a red dress shirt with short sleeves, with a red skirt going down to her knees.
She pulled out her red high heels and put them on her feet. She then went into the closet and pulled out a pink jacket, putting on herself then grabbing her key and walked out of the door. She walked down the hall of the hotel, all was quiet, seemed everybody there was asleep, except for the guy behide the counter. She walked out of the door of the hotel. The air was nice and cold. "Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to go out in a skirt, but what ever." She was rich, she like other rich people wanted to look good, but that was the only thing about her that made her look spoiled, other then that, she always gave her money out to the needy. She walked around sometime, before she found herself at the beach, just looking out at the ocean. "Its so beautiful tonight." 12:30AM.

The scent wasn't hard to miss. They surrounded her constantly. As much as it disgusted her that such a thick headed population of humans now knew about her kinds existence, she also knew that their blood was essential for her survival. Only a extremely observant human would catch onto what she was. As Maggie thought about it, she realized that chances of running into an observational human was slim to none. She had been careful to hide what she was only because it was much easier to hunt that way. A low growl escaped her lips as a man she had been eying turned a walked the other way, getting distracted by a group of girls. There was no doubt that if she hadn't cared about giving her identity away that she would have ran at him at full force with her fangs extended. Snapping his fragile neck wouldn't have been a problem, she was a lot stronger and faster than a human. Of course that would send those around her into a panic and she would have to worry about cleaning up the rest of the mess as she drained the others. It was too much work, she didn't want to bother.
It was then that a woman had caught her eye. Rarely did she deal with woman. They always made a big fuss when you revealed your fangs. They never shut up either, Maggie almost always had to muffle their screams. Most importantly Maggie liked to have a little fun with her food before she revealed her identity. Telling her victims who she was, was almost like the kiss of death. If a human found out what she was, she almost always killed them. There was no way she would be risking letting the whole town know. "A little late to be taking a stroll of the beach." Maggie smirked as she approached her. "Are you lost?"

Christine had been distracted by thoughts of how pretty the ocean was that she hadn't seen the other girl coming up to her. "Huh?" She questioned before thinking of what the question may have been. "Yeah... yeah it is..." She answered back to the girl. She wasn't scared because she was to focused on the ocean. Now if she had known this was a vampire, who planned on feeding on her she might have acted differently. Next question came up, and she replied right away. "No... no I am not lost." Just haven't had any sleep. She was having a very hard time thinking straight. It was late, and she had been up all day with no rest what so ever. She let out a yawn, proving how tired she really was.
Finally a question came out of her mouth, since it was interesting that another girl was out here at the same time as her. "What brings you out here?" She questioned before adding, "I am sorry I am Christine." Again, if she hadn't been so tired and realized there was a vampire in front of her, she might have ran away by now. Or at least would have tired to have run. Christine put her hand out, planning on shaking the other girl's hand if she would allow her to do so. Christine was having a very hard time thinking. She was just so tired, the air was doing its job in making her tired alright, but it was also putting her into danger. "Its nice outside." She added finally, looking straight a head of her.

"I'm what some would call a night owl." she said softly with a smile. "My name is Maggie, it's nice to meet you." Maggie tried to control her thirst as she heard each heart beat the sound reminding her that her blood was pumping thorough out her body. The sound of it almost drove her insane, she could already taste it. She needed to take her time though. Maggie pressed her lips together as she felt her fangs extend. So much for self control, she thought as she made sure to step out of the light a little, her eyes still locked on the human in front of her. "Are you new in town?" she asked making sure to carefully hide her fangs. At this point she was just stalling, making sure that this girl would not catch onto things too fast.
Control had never been a strong point of Maggie's. When she had first turned she had been responsible of thousand of unsolved murders back in the 1920's. Of course at that time, it was easy to blame a majority of criminal behavior on the mob. The fact that that much crime existed at that time only made things a lot easier for her. The people's ignorance to the fact vampires existed also made it a lot simpler then it was now. There was nothing like sinking your teeth into someone that thought they were dreaming. Maggie could hardly believe what she had become when she woke up to with the burning thirst for the first time.

Christine couldn't help but smile at the girl. So she likes the night.... She thought to herself, still not catching on that she was next to a vampire. When Maggie didn't take her hand, she pulled her hand back not thinking to much about it. She blinked a few times and yawned again. Her grayish blue eyes looked over the ocean again. I think tomorrow I'll go swimming. She thought in her mind as she continued to stare at the water. She looked back towards Maggie, before placing a small smile on her face. "No, I have been here for five years." She answered back, not all that sure why everybody kept asking is she was new in town, this was the second person to ask her that question already.
She didn't pay attention to Maggie's mouth, how it seemed to be forced shut as if hiding something. The wind blew, and Christine shivered from how cold it was outside. "We'll it was very nice meeting you Maggie, but I think I'll be going home now..." She answered before adding, "Its kind of cold out here, huh?" She turned around, starting to walk back home.

Maggie didn't have to think twice before she had the young woman in a tight hold making sure that there were no unwelcome visitors to interrupt her meal. "Now be a good human and don't make a noise. I promise I don't bi--well I do that's how I eat. You would understand if you hand fangs too." she said with a soft laugh as she licked her lips already imagining the taste of the girls warm blood that was currently pumping through her veins. Her grip got tighter as she pinned her aganist one of the bolders that were closer by, her free hand covering her mouth as she smiled, looking into her latest victims eyes.
"Such a shame a pretty little face like yours has to go so soon. More boy toys for me though to feed off of I suppose. It's always a lot similar to convince the men isn't it?" she smiled again knowing she probably wasn't going to answer. In one swift motion she extended her fangs and took one last look into her eyes before she sunk her fangs into her neck, the taste of blood already exciting.

Vampire.... She thought to herself, as the women named Maggie finished speaking. Christine struggled but it did no good, the vampire was so much stronger then she though. She felt like crying, thinking that this was it, that she was going to die now. Now a hand was covering her mouth to keep her from speaking. She was so tired from the time, and the grip was starting to hurt her. Maggie had asked her a question, it wasn't like she could answer. The female vampire had her hand covering her mouth still, to keep any noise from coming out from her lips. She screamed, it was useless but the fangs in her neck hurt and it was out of habit that she would scream in pain when she was hurt.
She shut her eyes, as the female vampire continued sucking her blood right out of her body. First my parents, and now this.... why me? tears starting falling out of her closed eyes as she started to cry silently. She almost started to think that she was dreaming, she tried telling herself in her mind that she was dreaming but it was no good. Wait... vampire... She thought to herself, thinking that she was going to faint from blood loss. Luke.... save me.... She took in a deep breath, and as fast as her body could move, she grabbed the hand with her two hands, pulling it off of her mouth. Nothing happened, she slowly opened her mouth and bit into the hand, and screamed when it had moved off of her mouth. "LUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She screamed, hoping her friend would save her.

Maggie was too busy feeding to hear anything she was saying. It wasn't till she managed to bite her hand that a low growl escaped and a name slightly caught her attention. Grabbing the girls wrist, she forced her aganist the bolder. "I don't know who Luke is but he won't be saving you any time soon sweetie." she smirked as she crushed one of her arms successfully breaking it before biting into making sure she could feel the full amount of pain Maggie wanted her to feel. "I would say you might want to see a doctor but you won't be living to see one." she growled as she stared coldly into her eyes. "I would stop screaming if I were you." Maggie hated when her meals made a fuss. It always made things more complicated then she wanted it to be.
When it came to human life, Maggie couldn't care less. Humans deserved to die, every last one of them. The way she saw it was it was either them of her. The fact of the matter was she needed blood to survive and she certainly preferred the natural way of going about it. That was how things were meant to be. Vampires were the predator and humans were they prey. Yes, at one point Maggie was just as human but now she would not allow herself to be over ridden with emotions like she once was. Anything that might have resembled humanity was buried deep inside of her.

Christine cried out in pain when Maggie grabbed her wrist, it was so fast and it hurt when she forced her harder against the bolder. "Stop... please stop...." She felt her arm pop, her arm was broken alright. "LUKE!!!!!!!! SAVE ME!" She screamed again, still crying out in pain. "LUKE!" She cried when Maggie bit into her again. She looked into Maggie's eyes, so cold. "I want Luke!" She continued to scream. "LUKE SAVE ME FROM THIS VAMPIRE!!!!!" She cried again, thinking that she was going to die, weather it was body and soul or just body. She finally went quiet, she was sure that Luke would come for her. She continued to cry, but with no sound at all. This vampire was so strong, and she was so weak. She felt like she was going to fall asleep but not wake up.
"It must be hell to be here and drink human blood. Seeing all your loved ones dead." She dared to speak, stilling having tears running down her face. She was going to die anyway, and the pain wasn't going to stop. "At least your meals die instead of living in this hell like you." She wasn't thinking of her comments, she was still tired. It was so cold outside. Maggie was cold, the air was cold, and she was cold because she was slowly dying. "Luke will save me, just you watch."

Her comments only won her a slap across her face as she let out another growl. Was Maggie really hearing correctly? Was this human honestly talking back to her as she held her pathetic life in her hands? She could tell that the human was getting weaker by the second. "Don't waste your breath. Doesn't seem like you have a lot of breaths left anyway! As for loved ones and anything that I might of cared about when I was human...they are all dead. Yes I'll give you that. You're correct but so are my sympathies for pathetic creatures like you. Personally I like this life a whole lot better." She smirked as she held her up making sure to keep eye contact with her, she thought it might do her some good to talk with her meal for a bit considering she seemed to insist on screaming for someone to come and save her.
"Go ahead and talk away. You seem to not want to shut up so go ahead and confess your little heart out. Is there anything else you want to say or do before I put you out of your misery?" Maggie gently pushed her chin up with her fingers as she smiled and stared into her weak eyes. She was having fun with this one. She had to admit this was one of the longest conversations she had, had with a meal.

Christine felt the pain in her face, it wasn't as much pain as her arm however. She took in a deep breath as Maggie told her not to waste her breath. She listened to Maggie speak but held no smile on her face. This vampire had been human once, but was no longer caring for humans, and she loved this life some much better. She held a frown on her face, as well as pain in her eyes. The tears were gone, the fear was gone. She only held anger that this vampire was still going to drain her life away. She didn't like how Maggie kept smirking at her like that. "Someday, you'll get what is coming to you." She answered, breathing slowly in deep breaths. It hurt her chest, it really did. It was getting harder each time to breath in air.
"Luke will save me." She answered back, so sure of herself now. "He is a vampire too." Now that might have been a mistake to say, but she didn't think to much on it. "I'd rather die than be in this hell hole with you." She finally answered back, having hate in her eyes. When Maggie pushed her chin up, she managed to turn her head away, looking away from her. She wasn't going to look at Maggie anymore. She couldn't stand seeing the vampire smiling at her like that. That vampire was just so evil, she didn't kill to live only. It seemed like she killed because she enjoyed it too. "Luke!!!!!!!!! Save me from this vampire!!!" She coughed, taking in another deep breath. It wouldn't be long before she would be dead.

Maggie didn't pay much attention to anything else she said. It was all meaningless to her. But just as Maggie was sinking her teeth back into her she got a thought and pulled back before she forcefully grabbed her chin yanking her up making sure she couldn't look away from her. "Giving you death would be too easy...you know what...maybe I should personally take you to my so called hell you seem to think I live in." she smirked. With that she dug her fangs back into her neck making sure to drain her of all that was in her body.
When the process had been complete and Maggie was sure there was nothing left she cut her wrist opened and allowed some of her own blood to pour into all the gashes she had made while feasting. She had never created a vampire before she and was only semi familiar with the process. She hoped for the sake of this pathetic human she was doing it right. Now came the hard part...Maggie gave a slight huff as she threw the cumbersome load over her shoulder and darted off to the nearest cave. Looking over at her every now and then she smirked as she began to dig the holes. They would have to be buried for three days for the process to be complete. When the holes were done she careless threw Christine's body in and tossed the dirt on top of her before climbing into her own hole. After three days had past Maggie awoke, hoping that her little friend would have her fangs. With a smirk she scribbled a note on a piece of paper and left it by her hole.
Have fun. You're on your own kid.
By the time she would awake, Maggie would be long gone.

Christine thought this was the end but Maggie had pulled her fangs back out of her neck and grabbed her chin making her look right into her face. "No........" She whispered out of breath, trying to avoid looking at Maggie in the eyes. Her body felt pain again, but soon went numb and she couldn't feel anything at all. She shut her eyes, so tired from so much blood being gone. She was sleeping by the time the new blood had entered into her body. She had dreams in her mind about what had just happened. She was sure that she would wake up in her bed and find out this was all a terrible dream. She slept for the three days straight, and when she woke up she screamed. She was in a hole, she just couldn't believe it.
Who would dare bury me alive? She thought to herself, clawing her way out of the hole. She found the note that Maggie had left her. She frowned for a minute thinking that it was some kind of joke. She then remembered everything that had just happened. She looked at her hands, nice and pale. She moved her tongue in her mouth to feel two shape fangs. She ripped the note in half, then again and again till there was nothing left. She hated that vampire. She slowly stood up, having a sharp pain in her stomach. She knew that it was calling for blood, but she didn't want to give in. She made her way toward the edge of the cliff, it was night time. She wasn't at the beach anymore. Instead she was in the cliffs heading back for town.
