[atrb=style,background-color: 000000,bTable] Thomas Charles Temere |
[atrb=style,background-color: transparent,bTable] hey guys. my name is Thomas Charles Temere, but you can call me Thomas. everyone else does, so i guess you can too. i'm twenty eight years young, and if it isn't already obvious, i'm a male. it should be. what isn't so obvious is the fact that i'm a shifter, but you can keep that a secret for now. |
personality
Well I think I should begin with the obvious, I'm smart, cultured, wealthy, attractive, and I know it. Some people call me conceited, but they are just jealous. Those that aren't jealous are just lying! I have the life most men wish for, and I enjoy every minute of it. Fast cars and beautiful women, thats the best way to live. Oh and you know those women who call me a pig, yeah thats because I'm pretending they don't exist.Ok, so beyond the obvious stuff, I really love my half-siblings. Bri and Jared are kind of the center of my universe, no matter what, they always come first. So if you don't like it you can piss off, they are all I really have left in this world. See I pretty much raised those two, they are more like my own kids than siblings, so if I catch anyone look at them the wrong way, their dead. No, this isn't a joke, don't laugh, I will f*****g kill you. Unpleasantries aside, I'm still getting use to the fact Bri is eighteen. Although I probably shouldn't worry, she's smart, and I trust her, she'll go far in life. I'm a little more worried about Jared, he seems so naive sometimes. Hes still young though, he just needs more time to mature.
Well now you know a little bit about me, I'm cocky, for good reason, and I love my family. If you want to know more, well I guess we'll see if I'll give you the time of day.
Oh, yeah I almost forgot to talk about my least favorite subject. Vampires and their Great Revelation, nothing great about, they were just getting sloppy if you ask me. There are so many leeches out there already, since population control doesn't seem to occur to them, they were bound to get caught eventually. Then they come off like oh yeah we decided to reveal ourselves to the world, bull. They're just to stupid to remain in the shadows in a modern world. Worst part so many people treat them like damned rock stars, didn't your family ever teach you not to play with dead things. Hey granny kicked it a few years ago, lets go dig her up and have some fun. Morons, anyone who treats a vampire like a person should be taken out back and shot.
history
Lets see where to begin, I was born into a wealthy family, had a regular life of luxury. Then when I was seven my mother passed away, i really miss her, she was the best. Lets move on I really don't like to talk about it, to many bad memories. That was when my life really changed, my dear old dad didn't spoil me like mom did, he tended to spoil himself. My father eventually remarried, he didn't have much time for me those days, but my stepmother was a great woman. My step-mom always treated me like one of hers, I miss her too. Tragedy again, you know the women in my life always seem to leave me, I guess thats why I beat them to the punch these days. See my step-mom had two children, Bri and then Jared. She died shortly after Jared was born, everyone was told it was the strain of the birth, I eventually found out different, same as my mom, but I can't ever let Bri and Jared know, its my job to protect them. After that it was my job to raise Bri and Jared, dad needed me then.I didn't get much of a life during my teen years, I devoted that time to the kids, I wanted them to know they always had someone, someone who would never leave them. I don't think they know how much I gave up for them, but its probably better that way. I did manage to excel in school, despite giving all of my free time to the kids. I attended all private schooling so I have a really great education, dad insisted on home schooling Bri and Jared, I guess it was cheaper that way. Anyways I managed to graduate top of my class in high school. When I graduated I got a lot of scholarships and my grampa, from my mother's side covered the rest. My father actually supported my going away for college, so I went to Harvard. Yes I'm a lawyer, a rich one. Even though I was away for school, I was back home every chance I got. Separation anxiety my therapist said, yeah I was seeing a therapist, but she didn't really know much in my opinion. I thought she was an awful therapist actually, great in bed though.
I graduated college with my law degree, and moved back to my home town , that was when I started working for my grandpa, my moms dad, he own his own firm. I kind of followed in his footsteps some, I never really worked too hard though, I had a small fortune already, wealthy family and all that. But don't let this fool you, I'm still a good lawyer. My dad did insist I get my own place when I got back, so I did, but I stayed close. Then when I was twenty six my father died in an "accident". You might be thinking that all three of my parents were murdered, yeah it sounds that way huh. Well you might not be wrong, but its a subject best left alone. I may have had to learn the truth, but I never want Bri or Jared to... ever. Some truths are just to hard to take, and I have to protect them, literally I got custody.
I was awarded guardianship of my half-siblings after dad's "accident", come on I was the natural choice, I raised them after all. Plus I have excellent job security and am quite wealthy. I decided to move all of us to Jamerson Falls, I figured the distance from the past would do us all some good. I opened my own firm, and set up shop here. I also enrolled the kids in school, my job didn't lend me to homeschooling much, but I made sure they were getting an education and maybe pretty much anything they asked for. Especially Bri. So what I spoiled them, they had a lot of loss in their short lives. We've been living here for two years now, Bri is eighteen, yikes. Nah she's great, has great survival instincts, she'll do well in life. I think she'd make a great lawyer, but thats her decision.
Now you may have noticed I've neglected the whole shifter thing, you're right I have. My step-mom was the one who taught me everything about shifting, so I guess that is why I didn't mention it earlier. She was great I don't think I would have handled it as well without her. Thats why I was glad I was there for Bri's first change, I got to teach her the things her mom taught me. Well I think I'm done talking about myself, how about we talk about you some... over dinner.

Kyle had parked his car two blocks away from the club and walked the rest of the way there. Kyle hadn't wanted the valets on a vampires payroll to be in his car, well not actually his car but the departments.
Kyle approached the bouncer, bypassing the line. "Name?" asked the large man, Kyle wondered if he was human or not. "I'm not sure I want to give it", Kyle replied. The bouncer glared at Kyle and said, "If your not on the list, get to the back of the line", he said the last part with a nod of his head. Kyle felt like being direct tonight, he moved his jacket aside to reveal his shield strapped to his belt, "I believe I'm listed under the initials J.F.P.D." The bouncer must have been new Kyle thought and human, because he looked around unsure of what to do for a second before letting Kyle through. Then again the whole club was new wasn't it Kyle reminded himself.
Kyle entered the double doors to the club and looked around, ostentatious he thought, but what do you expect from vampires. He looked over the tables and booths, and shot a glance at the dance floor. He wondered to himself if the humans here were here because they liked flirting with danger, or if they trusted the vampires. Maybe some of them want to become vampires he thought.
Kyle decided to head over to the bar, he flagged down a bartender and said, "Could I get a water?" The bartender responded, "What do you want, a Perrier... Dasani?" Kyle gave him a strange look and retorted with, "What ever's on tap." The bartender gave him one of those sarcastic smiles, and filled a glass with ice and water from one of those hose dispenser things.
Kyle accepted the water and began to sip it as he glanced back over the interior. He began to think to himself with so many vampires and humans in one spot, how often is he going to wind up here on business? [/div]
