[atrb=style,background-color: transparent,bTable] hey guys. my name is Brent Ian Campbell, but you can call me Brent. everyone else does, so i guess you can too. i'm twenty five years young, and if it isn't already obvious, i'm a male. it should be. what isn't so obvious is the fact that i'm a were, but you can keep that a secret for now. |
personality
So you want to know about me huh, ok let me start with the fact I was a born werewolf. A lot was expected of me once upon a time, but I was exiled from my first pack, my family. See werewolves live in an archaic society, women don't have equal rights, in fact if they want to gain any prominence in a pack you know what they have to do? You guessed mate with a male pack member of higher rank. How messed up is that? See werewolves haven't quit made it to the twenty-first century yet. Then there is the Alpha, leader of the pack, more like a dictator actually. Its my way or the highway with Alphas and they don't like you questioning them. You see a lot of werewolf society mimics that of wolves, completely ignoring the fact that the were in werewolf means man. Why in this day and age would you want to model yourself after some dumb animal, we have higher brain functions, use them. You don't see normal humans swinging from trees flinging Pooh do you. No they've grown as a culture, they have democracy and civil rights, women's suffrage even. So why are werewolves so like this you might ask simple, despite what they delude themselves into believing they are just slaves to their inner wolves. Seriously, whether they realize it or not their wolf dictates every fabric of their being. With every pack werewolf I've ever met its the same exact belief system, exactly, so you tell me, who do you think is running the show? But hey thats just my rant on werewolf culture and pack society, needless to say my views are one of the reasons I have been kicked out of every pack I have ever belonged to.The second reason of course being I'm gay. Yeah as mentioned before, werewolves don't really except new ideas. Plus the line between arousal and challenge is very thin. See with wolves if you want to mate with a female, there is usually a fight involved with another male. Since werewolves are just bitches to their inner wolf, they always read any attraction from me as a challenge.
Yeah I'm done with that topic though, lets talk about vampires. I see that got your attention, want to know what I think about vampires because I'm a werewolf? Do I think they're my mortal enemy? The answer is no, they don't really bother me. Why? Because they want me to be bothered by them, so I don't give them the satisfaction. I do believe they made the right choice in "coming out" though. Please no gay jokes ok. You see in this modern era it is getting harder to keep hidden, the vampires were smart, why hide if your going to get caught. Werewolves are still in hiding and thats going to hurt us in the long run. People are going to ask why we didn't go public like the vampires and what are we hiding? Plus this will give the vampires plenty of ammunition to use against us, they could easily portray us in a negative light. We need to "come out" soon, don't say it, before its too late. I think the real motivation for staying hidden is that are inner wolves believe they will lose their sway if werewolves are force to adapt to the modern world. See more slavery to our inner beasts.
Now I mentioned I'm gay, that doesn't mean I like shopping and gossiping with girls. I'd say I'm pretty normal, I just happen to like guys. Not that I'm saying that there is anything wrong with gay guys who are more feminine, I'm just saying I'm not.
history
You want to know some of my history now, well like I mentioned before I was born a werewolf. My father was the pack Alpha and my mother his mate. These are of course werewolf terms, my mother may have had more freedom than most women, but she was still just my father's mate. Well as I also mentioned a lot was expected of me, I was the Alpha's first born son, I was to find a mate and inherit leadership of the pack one day. You see I'm very dominate, and technically should be an Alpha one day, but I'm still young. Yeah, it didn't go over very well when I told them about me being gay. So I was exiled. Now I began to travel, a lone wolf as it were. I tried joining other packs but my views and homosexuality always got me exiled from the pack at best. Some have even tried to kill me, but I'm still here. I did once meet a pack that I thought was different, they had a female Alpha. Turns out they were just as narrow minded as other packs, they just believed the woman should do the oppressing.
So yeah, I'm on my own again, traveling the open road. I've recently come here to Jamerson Falls, and I hope to stay for a while. I'm done running, I want to find other werewolves who share a similar point of view as me and start my own pack. But I'm getting ahead of myself, I should just concentrate on getting settled.[/div]
"Nonsense", Brodir responds to her questions, "you are never late. In fact, I am beginning to suspect that time actually waits for you. And as far as I am concerned this night is lovelier now that you are here". Brodir gently takes Luna's hand and brings it to his lips. At the last moment he allows his fangs to unsheathe. They may just be friends but Brodir sees nothing wrong with being playful. Besides he has a feeling Luna loves the attention. Brodir looks into Luna's eyes as he finally kisses her hand.
Brodir puts his fangs away as he releases Luna's hand. He offers the crook of his arm to Luna as he asks, "Shall we walk"?[/div]
