[atrb=style,background-color: transparent,bTable] hey guys. my name is Michael Patrick Ross, but you can call me Michael. everyone else does, so i guess you can too. i'm twenty five years young, and if it isn't already obvious, i'm a male. it should be. what isn't so obvious is the fact that i'm a psychic, but you can keep that a secret for now. |
personality
First off, I am above all loyal to his majesty King Halloway. It was he who saved me from a life of tedium protecting a bunch of rich snobs. My old job consisted mainly of carrying shopping bags and dealing with bratty, spoiled children. My talents were wasted on guarding a family like that. King Halloway showed me a different life a better life, where my unique talents came in. You see I'm a telekinetic, have been ever since I was a child. If I do say so myself I've grown powerful in its application, which his majesty seems to appreciate. So I guess my overall point is I love my powers and the position it has afforded me.His majesty has also saw fit to take a queen, so I am equally as loyal to her. Truth be told I would give my life if necessary to protect the monarchy of New Jersey. Yes again I am that loyal and grateful. I also enjoy the job of protecting the monarchy, it can be dangerous, which I like. It also gives me the ability to inflict a little harm on those foolish enough to attack the King and Queen. I like to raise a little havoc every once in while, who doesn't. Now I wouldn't say I'm cruel I just like to cause trouble for certain people.
I guess we should also discuss how I feel about the vampires going public. Well it does make my job more difficult, but good as I said I enjoy my job. Although I have grown concerned for her majesty Queen Halloway, she has... had some trouble recently and others are starting to notice. This means I'm going to have to be extra vigilante, some other monarch may grow too bold and attack my charges. Let them I say, I'll be ready.
history
My history huh, where should I begin. I was born in a small town, you don't need to know where. My father was a decent man, worked hard to support us. My mother was a drunk and a who... I didn't much care for her. Growing up I saw her completely dominate my father, I felt sorry for him.Now I was young when my power began to manifest. My parent used to think the place we lived in was haunted, stuff moving, light bulbs exploding. My mother eventually began to suspect the disturbances were me, and would began beating me every time something happened. Now as I said before my mother was a drunk, so she'd beat me even if she dropped her keys, yeah that was my fault too apparently. Well needless to say teachers and other began to notice the constant bruises. Well guess what happened next, my dad took the fall for it, even got sent to prison. I never saw my dad again, he died in prison. My mom wound up being thrown down a flight of stares in front of a large crowd at the mall, mysteriously of course. She survived, although she strangely choked to death in the hospital in front of a bunch of doctors and nurses. Okay so I didn't take news of my father's death well.
My teen years were sort of rough in and out of foster homes. At least I managed to stay out of juvie, I found ways to use my powers to not get caught. I did quite a bit of damage back then.
When I was eighteen I joined the military, it was good for me, I learned things like discipline and loyalty. After I finished my run in the army I joined a Private Military Company. That was okay but I learned I could make a lot more money in working as a personal bodyguard. I did a lot of freelance work until I landed a job guarding the Fitzgerald family.
The Fitzgerald family job paid exceptionally well, but I ****ing despised it! It was constantly hold this or fetch that. The most exciting thing to ever happen while working there was when the eldest daughter was kidnapped, not on my watch mind you. Although it turned out, when I found her, that she had faked the abduction to extort money from her parents. It was shortly after this that King Halloway found me, and hired me to be his bodyguard. Trust me, with all the danger and intrigue, it was a welcome relief. Not to mention I get to utilize my powers and have command of whole security teams. I also rather enjoy the fact that many under my command fear me and my power, but that's just an added perk. Now if you'll excuse me its sundown and I have to get back to work. The King could of course defend himself but he's too busy to worry about security, that's why he pays someone. And that someone happens to be me.

role play sample |
Now, now Brent thought to himself, your part of a pack now, its time to play the role. This is what you wanted after all, although the more primal wolf part of him corrected, no you should be leading a pack. Brent responded to the wolf part of him, retorting with the fact that he believed he still lacked the wisdom to lead properly. Brent believed being an Alpha was more than just being dominant enough, and having the ability to bark orders. It takes wisdom and conviction to lead, Brent felt he was still lacking the levels necessary to be a good Alpha.
Brent decided he was going to need to explain things to Vis, and so decided to shift again. Brent watch Emile and Arrow go before he began the slow and painful process. Brent was going to be really exhausted after this. At least he got a small nap in he thought. Although Brent was no stranger to shifting a lot in a short amount of time. Just after his first change, that came a little later for Brent than most, his father used to make him change until complete exhaustion. Brent's father was also his Alpha and was raising Brent to be the perfect Alpha, the perfect werewolf. Brent used to hate his father, maybe he still does, but he can't deny his father made him strong.
Concentrating on his father had helped Brent focus through the transformation. Although Brent had completely lost track of time, was that another shout from Vis? Brent couldn't tell, his ears were ringing, very loudly. Brent was also covered in sweat, and his were sore. Brent with great effort managed to stagger to his feet. As he stood large, red dots swam across his vision. He also felt a little queasy. Brent remembered his father's harsh lessons on weakness, and managed to stumble to the door as steadily as he could. A little physical exhaustion was not going to prevent Brent from walking outside.
As Brent neared the door, he wiped as much sweat from his brow as possible. He noticed his hands were a little pale, and were shaking slightly. Brent balled his hands into fists. If my hands are this pale, I probably don't want to see myself in the mirror. Brent pinched and slap his cheeks a little, hopefully restoring a little color to them. Brent felt cold but knew he was still sweating. I hate cold sweats Brent thought. Mustering up all that was left of his strength Brent finally walked through the door, but even he noticed the odd gait to his steps. Brent stopped and stiffened his legs a little more before continuing.
Brent approached his three fellow werewolves saying with a smirk, "Sorry for the wait Vis, had to get changed." Brent was proud at the fact that he managed to keep the exhaustion out of his voice, and to keep it even. "Plus it will be far easier to communicate with you and tell you all that has transpired." Brent decided he needed to teach the pack the paw tapping language his family used, it was a bit complex and not always precise, but it could convey complex messages. Brent usually equated it to Morse code, except a lot more elaborate.[/div]
