There really was too much to think about. Too many things to focus on. Who could blame him though. He was anything but human. Thankfully though his day of hell had came and went and now it was back to dreading the next full moon. From boy to blood thirsty wolf...it really was hell on earth. Holden made his way to the only empty table that happened to be available. "great.." he said realizing why that was. Trash covered the whole thing, making the simple task of eating his meal a little harder. The food court was nearly always a mess so he didn't really know why he expected differently. When his table seemed clean enough to eat off of he took a seat and began digging into his meal. When it came to food he could devour it almost instantly. His inner wolf had no problem when it came to eating.
Holden glanced up at those that pasted him by wondering if they had any idea what it was like to become a killer at night. He tried to see if he could spot a few blood sucking leeches...he knew there was bond to be more of them walking around since they had felt entitled to express themselves and come out of the coffin. Chances were a lot of them were hiding but it was getting pretty late.

“I didn’t want to bother anyone but it’s kind of grotesque…” Buffy was saying before he stopped in front of Holden. He watched the boy chew his food as he eyes went from Holden’s eyes, to his mouth, to his food, to the table and back to the employee walking over with him. “Nevermind then…” Buffy told the employee, “sorry to waste your time” He said. The employee just nodded and walked off. Buffy turned back to Holden and put his hand on the table. “Fancy seeing you here…” He said as he pulled out a chair and sat down across from him. “You know, I was sitting here. I just left to get someone to clean off the table.” He explained to Holden as he opened the lid to his coffee.
Steam poured from the top and he pulled it to his lips, giving it a light blow before taking two small sips. “So since we’re lunch mates now,” he teased. “Tell me what brings you to the mall. I never really see you with anyone, your kind of a loner I’m guessing?” It was more of a statement but for the sake of not being rude, he made it a question. He put his coffee back down and opened two creams, pouring them inside as the black liquid turned a light caramel color swirl.

Holden's eyes wandered up from his meal to the boy that was now standing in front of him. After swallowing his food he mumbled a quiet "sorry" before staring back down at his food and chowing down hoping that by that gesture the boy would just leave but chances were he wasn't going anywhere. He looked up at the boy once more watching him as he stirred his coffee and wondered why he was so damn talkative. He didn't feel like talking to anyone...then again he always had the fear that the full moon would go bouncing into the room at any moment and force him to relive a hell that had changed his whole life.
Before he had changed he was quiet pleasant. He loved telling jokes and hanging out with his friends at any moment he got. He had been very athletic and involved in several sports but now he had turned into a total recluse. He didn't want to interact with anyone. In all reality he was scared of getting close only because he knew at some point they would make the horrible mistake of crossing paths with him during a fullmoon. So he wasn't far fetched when he assumed that Holden was a bit of a loner.
"I'm a little bit of an introvert." he said with a shrug as he shoved a few more fries into his mouth. That was an understatement.

“It’s okay…” Buffy said waiting for Holden to say something else, but he didn’t, at least not right away. He took another sip of his coffee, looking at Holden over the cup. Trying not to laugh at his eating habits, he pulled the cup from his lips with a slight smile on his face. “You know it’s not going anywhere, right?” He asked trying to lighten the mood. “A little?” Buffy asked when Holden said he was an introvert. As if Buffy was actually invited to sit down, he folded his legs on the chair, relaxing. “Ya know, I never got that. People who are introverted.” Buffy told him.
He sighed before continuing, “just seems that life is too long. I just naturally like people. Well, most people.” Buffy said before looking back at Holden and realizing that everyone had a shut-the-hell-up face. Buffy smiled politely, “I’m Buffy…” He told Holden. He had seen the boy around before but he wasn’t sure exactly where. Buffy had only been around for a year but he made a couple friends. He’d have to ask around about this guy. Especially since he was horrible with names. "Looks like you have way to much to think about..."
