[Carver] Vampires, Werewolves and Witches! Oh My

Arrow's blue eyes fluttered open, She wasn't sure how long she had slept this time, usually after a full moon she slept right through the day, So it wasn't strange for her to be waking up to the night sky. She yawned and stretched, hearing the clanging sounds of chains woke her up fully. She remembered that last night had been a full moon. She looked around, her sapphire colored eyes scanning her body and the forest around her for blood. A delighted smile rose on her lips when she found none and she couldn't help but laugh out loud. She'd done it! She'd stopped her wolf from killing during the full moon! Arrow, still grinning, looked down at the thick chains that were clamped onto both her wrists and ankles. She had twisted the chains through each other to give them strength and had looped them across the biggest tree she could find.

Arrow brushed a strand of jet black hair from her face and turned towards the tree, then froze. almost the entire middle of the tree had been scratched out. She could see the tracks of her enormous claws in the trunk. Her wolf had tried to go through the tree. She took a shaky breath and then sighed, that was going to be hard to explain. "Guess I'll just have to find another tree every full moon." she muttered to herself, bending down at the bace of the tree for the key. She knew that once turned there was no way for her wolf to use the key, and it was such an easy answer. "oh shit" The key was gone, in her frenzy to be freed her wolf must have knocked the key away. "How yah gonna get out of this one? Huh Arrow?" She said, cursing as she dropped to her knees and started looking for the key. She had made the chains quite short with almost no slack, so it was very likely the key had been knocked out of her range, but she refused to give up looking for it.

Leon quickly awoke as night fell, upon awaking he quickly got out of his coffin and took as much time as he could afford showering in order to get rid of any blood that remained on him from the previous night. After he had gotten rid of the human blood that was on his skin he quickly proceeded to pick out some clothes to wear. Leon usually wore the same type of clothes, his style of clothing didn't change to often. Leon picked out a black dress shirt and a black leather jacket as his usual choice of upper body clothing and dark jeans as his usual choice of lower body clothing. After picking out and getting changed he picked up his black shoes and quickly put them on, he then picked up his house keys and slowly headed to the exit of his residence. Once he had gotten outside he locked the front door and then used his vampire speed as his preferred method of travel.

Leon's method of acquiring his next feed wasn't always the same. Sometimes he would use glamour in order to feed and then he would erase the person's memory, at other times he would terrorise his next victim and then eventually drain every drop of the blood from the person's body. Tonight Leon has chose to have some fun so once he found a victim who wasn't surrounded by people he proceeded to terrorise her. After a while Leon had gotten slightly bored of simply terrorising one person so he prepared to go in for the kill, by this time the woman had ran into a nearby forest. Upon entering the forest Leon used his vampire speed to appear right in front of his victim he then attracted his fangs and proceeded to completely drain the woman of all of her blood. Afterwards Leon left the corpse where it laid, just as Leon was about to leave he heard something as he followed the noises he came across a woman in chains. Leon immediately used his vampire speed to appear at a tree in front of the chained woman, Leon then began to speak a few words. "Hmm now this is interesting. I have to say this is one thing you don't see everyday"

"Damnit!" Arrow yelled, throwing her hands up in exasperation. how in the word was she going to find that kay? She had searched every where she could reach and it was no where to be found. She could feel her wolfs anger at her for chaining it but she also was getting a feeling of smugness from her wolf. "you knocked the key away on purpose!" She said aloud, fuming. Arrow tugged half heartily at the chains and sighed, how was she going to get out of this?

Suddenly, Arrow smelt blood and straightened just as a man appeared in front of her. She jumped back in surprise, yanking on her chains, the movement almost sent her sprawling but she quickly caught herself. At first she was happy to see the man, he could help her find the key! But before she could ask for his help she noticed the smell of blood was coming from him, and on top of that, he smelled different then regular humans. "Vampire," She whispered, more to herself then to the vampire in front of her. She was unsure if he was a threat or not so she kept herself at the ready, though her being chained didn't make her chances very good in a fight. She'd never met a vampire before and wasn't sure what to say "uh, hey, um... This is kinda awkward..." She looked down at her chains then back to the Vampire, she didn't know what to make of him. "do you think you can help me out of these?"

Leon just stared at the woman in chains for minutes while he leaned against a nearby tree, after he had finished staring at the woman he used his right had to wipe the blood that remained on the mouth area of his face. Leon had also managed to get his shirt drenched in blood, Leon particularly disliked getting blood on his clothes, he disliked having to buy new clothes after they had been somewhat ruined and this happened almost daily. Leon was curious about the woman in front of him, he didn't know why the human would chain herself to a tree in a middle of forest, he found it somewhat strange. Leon slowly stopped leaning against the tree and started to stare at the chains which restrained the woman, he then began to move at inhuman speed towards the woman, While travelling at an inhuman speed Leon simply appears as a blur.

After he had gotten closer to the woman, he simply smiled at her for a few minutes he then got down on his knees and proceeded to break the chains that were clamped around the woman's wrists and ankles. Leon appeared to use no effort at all while breaking the chains around the woman's ankles and wrists. After he succeeded in breaking the chains he began to slowly stand back up and then began to smile again at the woman. Leon probably would of tried to drink from the woman but luckily he had just recently fed which satisfied his hunger for his time being. Leon stared at the the woman again and then began to speak a few words. "Hopefully that is better, i myself dislike being chained up. So if you don't mind me asking why exactly were you chained up to a tree in a forest, it seems somewhat strange." After he had finished speaking he slowly walked even closer to the woman and began to flirt with her. Leon didn't flirt too often, most people he knew didn't know that he did or could flirt. Leon could easily see that the woman was beautiful and since he had already fed he was hoping to have a different kind of fun with her, the kind of fun that required sexual activity

Arrow watched as the man bent down, and with out a word, started to break the chains. Her mouth dropped open and her wolf started growling in her head is Leon's show of strength. Once she was free she rubbed her wrists, they were a bit red but she was otherwise unharmed. "Uh, thanks. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't came along. I'm Arrow, by the way." She said with a grateful smile. Her wolf was still growling, she could feel it's anger at her for chaining it last night and also at the man for freeing Arrow. She could tell he was flirting with her and smiled, flirting a bit back. Her smile wobbled a bit when the vampire asked why she had been chained up, should she tell him? She'd never told anyone she was a Were but this man was a vampire, would that make telling him safer or more dangerous?

"Um...I, ah." She stuttered, unsure what she should tell him, but finally she decided to just come out with it and if he attacked her she'd just have to let her wolf take control. "I'm a were, I didn't want my wolf to be free during the full moon and kill anyone" She finally said, bracing herself for an attack just in case. She wasn't sure how a vampire would react to her being a were but she hoped this man wouldn't react violently.

Unlike many of his kind Leon has never been and never will be prejudice against a different species that he knew still existed, he had existed for over a millennium and within that time he killed and fed from various species which include both humans and werewolves, he had even killed his own kind, he had even killed vampires, Leon had even formed friendships with various werewolves in the past. Leon figured that the most probable reason for the woman being chained up was because she was some sort of were and either she didn't want to hurt someone so she chained herself up or someone else foresaw her as a danger and locked up. Leon would of said something but as he wasn't one hundred percent sure he didn't want to reveal that there were other supernatural creatures out there to a person that very well may of been a completely normal human being.

Leon smiled at the woman known as Arrow after she revealed that she was a werewolf. He was also somewhat curious to know why she would simply lock herself up, the various weres he had encountered refused to chain themselves up. Leon assumed arrow was somewhat new to being a werewolf and tried to keep her calm and assure her that he mean't her no harm, he tried to convince her he was friend.Well Arrow it is a pleasure to meet you, it is quite disappointing we couldn't meet on better circumstances. Now i can assume that you can guess what exactly i am if not then give me the pleasure of telling you what exactly i am. I am known as vampire. And if you were worried about telling me you were werewolf there is no need to be i have formed friendships with werewolves over the centuries so i can swear to you that i am no threat to you. Leon starting using his vampire speed to move around in the surrounding area in an attempt to show off his powers, Leon quite enjoyed showing off his powers, he enjoyed what he was he revelled what. After he finished showing off he used his inhuman speed to appear as blur until he appeared face to face with arrow again, he then continued to flirt with arrow yet again

Arrow let out a sigh of relief and relaxed a bit more when he told her he wasn't going to attack. "well thats always good to hear." She smiled when he moved around the clearing, he would have looked like a Blur if she hadn't of been looking at him but with her Were reflexes she kept her eyes on him. She was flattered that he wanted to show off for her, Because she was so young she doubted she would be able to out run him in human form. Though she was pretty quick. Her eyes flashed a brighter shade of blue as her wolf leapt up at the thought, eager for a run in the forest after a whole night locked up under a full moon. She debated whether or not she should show him how fast she was, but rejected the thought almost as quickly as it had come. She'd only just met this man and she was already thinking of running with him in her wolf form. "Impressive." She said when he stopped in front of her. "Are all vampire that quick? Your the first one I've met, so I'm a little rusty on the facts." She admitted with a small smile. "Are you from around here?" Arrow asked. She had rented an apartment a few days ago and was still moving in. She'd hadn't had time to meet anyone in town. "Oh, and I didn't catch your name." Leon was fairly new to town, this had been the first time his ever been in jamerson falls and it seemed very likely that he would stay in jamerson falls for more than a decade. Leon was use to moving around a lot, he would usually just stay in various places for a year and then move onto a different place. This was mostly due to the fact that he used to kill and feed on anything sentient life he could find and he particularly didn't want to cause too much attention. Due to his incredibly long life Leon had managed to travel the entire world, which has also allowed him to see many dreadful and wonderful things. It was only fairly recently when Leon decided he would stay in one place for a while, he hadn't even a chosen a permanent place of residence. At the moment he just took residence in a little apartment, but he did plan on eventually acquiring a different place of residence, a huger place of residence, and as money was no problem he just needed to find the time to look for a more permanent place of residence.

Leon's speed, strength and other vampire abilities were far stronger than the average vampire's and he took great pride in that. Leon was quite amused when arrow asked if all vampire's were fast as him and so he simply smiled at her for a few minutes and then proceeded to answer her questions. Well Miss Arrow, all vampire's are somewhat fast probably faster than any other creature that walks this earth. Here is one thing you should keep in mind vampire's only get stronger and faster as they age. For example a two hundred and fifty year old vampire could probably have no problem taking out a one hundred year old vampire. Now I've lived as a vampire for exactly one thousand seven hundred and fifty years which mean's my abilities far surpasses a average vampire's abilities heck I'm even capable of flight. And to answer your other question i just moved here and i plan to stay for at least a decade which is something i usually don't do, I'm used to simply moving to one place to another, i've even managed to many things in this world both wonderful and dreadful. Oh and i almost forgot as a human i was known as Leon Nicholas Carver but just call me Leon. After he had finished answering arrow's question's he looked toward's the general direction where he left his last victim's body and considered disposing it at right this minute but as he had company he figured it wouldn't matter if he simply disposed of it later. Leon didn't seem to concerned with divulging information about the vampires although he never did seem to concerned about anything

She quickly snapped it shut though and listened as he answered her questions. "Wow, thats really interesting. I bet you've seen and done a lot of things" She said in wonder. She couldn't imagine what it would be like to live that long. Come to think of it, she didn't even know how long werewolves lived, that was something she needed to find out. Arrow saw him look off into the direction he had came from. "Oh, did you need to head out?" She asked, scenting the air. When she had first saw Leon she had remembered smelling blood, and she had thought thats just what vampires smelt like, but now that she really concentrated she could smell a lot more blood then she had before, and it was fresh. She glanced at Leon and bit her lip, wondering if she should ask. 'it could just be animal blood'. She thought to herself, but just as she thought it her wolf whined. She could almost feel it licking its chops. 'Human blood' the wolves thoughts told her at it growled, itching to change and have a taste after being denied it during the full moon. Arrow's looked back at Leon and then back into the forest. Her wolf could be wrong though and could also just be trying to make her uneasy, but she had to find out. "So, what brought you out to the forest? Leon had many other things to do this night and he knew he couldn't spend much more time in the forest with Arrow. Yet before he could leave he needed to grab the nearby corpse he just left and dispose of it, he wasn't sure which method of disposal he would use but he did know if he was to dispose of the woman's corpse then he would have to act very soon, he would have to dispose of the corpse very soon. Leon looked at Arrow and just smiled at her. Leon was also somewhat curious about Arrow. despite wanting to find out more about Arrow he couldn't at the time being as he didn't have too much time left, he had little time to spare. While still staring at Arrow Leon began to feel hunger again normally he would of just attacked, hunted without a second thought but for some strange reason he was stopping himself, he was resisting the urge to feed. This was something Leon hadn't done in a while it was at this moment Leon grew even more curious of the woman, he was now wondering why on earth he was resisting the urge to feed he speculated that he was because he currently seemed quite fond of her and hoped to form an friendship with her at some point.

Leon tried to hide the fact that he was still hungry from arrow, he hoped that he succeeded in not revealing his hunger to her as he didn't really want to scare her. Leon then started to answer Arrow's question while still resisting the urge to feed. Well miss Arrow it is true that i've seen many things in my long existence some people could say i've seen too much. Heh no i don't usually see girl's chained to tree and i'm going to be honest with you i just hope the trust doesn't cause you to fear me. Well i was hunting my prey i was having some fun with my human prey, she managed to get to this forest while running away from me. Then i proceeded to feed and then kill my prey. and to answer the first question yes i do have somewhere to be but before i can go i have to dispose of my victims body don't suppose your willing to help me get rid of it are you?

At first she just stared at him, wondering if she had heard right. he wanted her to move a body with him... and he thought that was okay? She didn't know what to make of this vampire. he hadn't hurt her and had seemed polite and had been nice to her. would he have acted different if she had been human? "You want me to help you hide the body of a girl you just killed moments before you found me? And you think i'd say yes?" She asked incredulously. He'd just taken a life, how had she not heard them? Arrow might have understood if Leon had said he was in blood lust or not in his right mind. Because that was what happened to her every full moon, her wolf took over and ended up killing people. But she hated that about herself and tried to do everything she could to prevent that from happening. This man had killed in cold blood. What made her hesitate though was that he had been kind to her. She had been vulnerable and unable to escape or fight back, and he had freed her. So she knew he wasn't all bad. "I-I don't know what to say, other then that is not okay Leon. You can't just run around attacking people and killing them because you can! The girl was someones daughter or sister, and you just took her life from her." she explained, running her fingers through her hair nervously. Leon really didn't see what the problem was it was only one person, one girl it wasn't like this one death would greatly effect the world and he knew that he had done a lot worst he had spent much of his existence torturing and killing, he spent his one thousand seven hundred and fifty years of existence causing death. Leon thought he had gotten somewhat better as he didn't kill as often there were even times when he didn't kill his prey he simply drank a bit from his prey and then used glamour to erase the memory of the act. Leon looked over to the corpse which wasn't too far away and smiled he didn't even try to hide this smile from Arrow, the fact was Leon quite enjoyed taking lives, he didn't take lives to feed he did it for the pleasure it granted him,luckily Leon had managed to control himself somewhat so that he wouldn't kill as often as he use to centuries ago.

Despite finding pleasure in killing people Leon was also capable of showing kindness to a select few he was even capable of not harming or killing a select few who he would consider friends or people who could become friends with him eventually. Leon used his inhuman speed to appear right up close to Arrow, he then began to look somewhat serious as he began to reply to every single thing she had just said. Firstly yes i would like you to help me dispose of the body now did i expect you to say yes well the answer to that is no i just hoped you would. Now the other thing you need to understand is that i'm not like you or the humans that inhabit this planet i am at the top of the food chain i am predator. It is my nature to hunt and kill my prey. I don't kill as often as i use to so i'm not as bad as i was but keep in mind i will never stop killing and to be honest i enjoy killing. And i will respect your decision for now but before i leave you need to keep one thing in mind. I am not even capable of regret, you need to remember that I am a monster. After he had finished speaking to Arrow Leon just began to run his fingers through her hair while smiling he then looked straight up as he proceeded to take flight. he then headed to his next destination.

Leon didn't seem to understand what she was talking about and she didn't know how to make him understand what he was doing was wrong. "Are you forgetting I'm not human? Its in my nature also, to hunt and kill my prey, but that doesn't mean I do it. I fight against my wolf every full moon so that i can save a life that she would other wise take" she told him, trying to reason with him, she could see that he wasn't all bad and it hurt her to know that she wasn't getting through to him. The were sighed, her eyes filled with pain as he ran his fingers through her hair and left. She should have tried harder to convince him. Arrow turned away, hoping that she'd be able to see him again. If she did she'd try harder to make him see the value of a human life, she didn't think she'd be able to live with herself if she didn't try again. She just hoped she'd be able to find him, and sooner rather then later.
