Some people liked to be surrounded by hundreds of people and lots of very loud music when they went out for drinks. Levi was not one of them. Clubs and trendy pubs, with their packed floors and ear-burstingly loud music, made him nervous, and that was long before he'd become a wolf. You just couldn't hear anyone sneaking up on you and, if someone attacked you, there was no way you could track them through the seething mass of humanity. Now that he was a werewolf, those kind of places were even more unattractive, smelling of stale beer, urine and whatever drugs people had brought.
As a result, Levi preferred to drink in a small, out of the way pub known as the "Newt's Eyeball". It was a quiet pub, with a small core group of drinkers who frequented it. On the odd occasion some party goers might try to come into and get drunk but Levi, 6'4" and well built, always managed to get them out of the pub before they caused much trouble. After the first time the owner of the bar had put Levi on the pub's payroll, listing him as the part time bouncer and clocking Levi on about an hour before he removed anyone from the premises. The best part was that, due to Levi's metabolism, he could drink like a normal human but show up as totally alcohol free on any police tests. The bar owner, a man who was unusually switched on about the subcultures of Jamerson Falls asked no questions and expected no answers as to why that was possible.
Tonight, though, Levi didn't expect on trouble. It wasn't a party night and they hadn't received any calls from other pubs located along the typical pub crawl route warning of drunks, so it looked like he could drink in peace.
Downing a shot glass of good Russian vodka, Levi sighed and stretched out his legs. It was almost midnight, but he felt more awake than he had all week, now that he had finished his most recent project. For the last two weeks he'd be building a custom sniper rifle for a professional target shooter, designing some components from scratch, and he'd finally finished the built an hour ago. He'd try it out tomorrow and then, if all went well, take it to the buyer for their own test. Once the buyer approved the rifle, and he would, Levi would have a check for fifteen grand and another design to add to his growing collection. Perhaps one day he would even get to mass produce it.
Pouring another shot from the bottle, Levi swirled the clear alcohol around in the glass and set the glass back on the table. Yep, things sure were going well.

Vis had just gotten into town. Making his leasurely year long trek through the American wilderness. The Appalachian Mountains were the worst of his own journey seeing as there was not much to go by for food up there. Scents were so muted in the upper country that he had to lean on his pack to find his way out of the peaks. He was finally alone though, and missing the last of his pack which he sent down further south to Delaware and beyond. He had only been in the city long enough to purchase a partial wardrobe, get a hotel room, shower, and get a haircut when he crossed the old path of a wolf. It was only hours old, so he decided to follow. He hated new clothes. The Jeans were rough, the cotton T shirt was scratchy and his work boots, well of course they weren't broken in. It had been nearly a year since he had worn shoes so they were the most uncomfortable of all.
Despite his agitation at his constricting clothing, he made his way through the city, dodging the smells and sounds of people and cars, the stink of thousands of times touched objects which thew off their own warning scent. The city was somewhat disturbing. He had only been in cities a few times while on their journey south, once each time the pack dropped someone off to find a place in the bustle. He kept his bearings though and followed the slurred crimson and near navy color of the wolf's scent until it turned into what seemed to be a doorway. the smell leaking from the cracks around the door were sharp and inviting, something that he had always enjoyed. Alcohol.
He pushed on the door and was rewarded with more of the sharp amber smell of hard liquor, but it was also accompanied by the smell of snack foods and the faint stench of those who get drunk, a little of human urine and bile that no cleaner could completely wash away from his nose. He muted those smells and allowed his presence be known, the aura of a predator and wolf wash from him, pausing at the door so that his scent and energy could precede him. He took in the positions of all the patrons and the wolf, but would allow the wolf first to come to him.
With his ears pricked and long deep breaths he made his way to the bar, and slid his hand over a seat before raising a hand in the direction of the tender. He ordered in a gruff voice, one tinged with the lilt of his Native language being the first instead of english. His voice carried a bit of power into it, with just a hint of Command, which was his because of the pack, even though distant his Command voice could be powerful, but if used in full it would only scare all but the predators of his own kind."Large Long Island." Of course he did not look directly at the tender. He wasn't seeing the tender with his eyes anyway. Instead his nose and ears were at work making it so that even if his back were turned he would know exactly where he was. It was not his eyes that held power like most wolves, but merely his presence and voice.

Arrow ran her fingers through her hair and took a deep breath, the smells of the city almost gagged her, her nose wrinkled in disgust and she closed her eyes for a moment. Four years being a were and she still wasn't used to her sense of smell, granted she was an extremely young wolf and now had many years to get used to her new senses. She understood why her wolf always led her to the woods but she didn't want to be a were! She wanted to be a normal human being, she wanted to flirt with guys and hang out with her friends and do stupid things with out worrying about how her wolf was going to react. In a sign of defiance and denial toward her wolf she stomped down the street, her sapphire colored eyes scanning the string of shops. She refused to use her nose to find out which one was the bar.
Once she did find it she smiled slightly, glad that it was a small bar and not some type of club. She opened the door and the smells and sounds assaulted her, but she knew she could deal with it. Her eyes settled on the bar and she started towards it, normally she wasn't a drinker, but tonight she thought she deserved at least one. Though before she could get close enough she scented the two male weres at the bar and froze. Her wolf leapt up, no longer sleeping peacefully inside of her, but fully aware of the two stronger males in close proximity. Arrow swallowed a growl, but didn't otherwise move. She didn't know what to do, her wolf was strong now and it's instincts warred with her fear.

The door to the pub opened and Levi looked up from his bottle of vodka. He was sitting towards the rear of the pub and had a clear view of both the front door and the door behind the bar, which lead out to the back. If it were any other pub Levi would have been sitting in the corner, but he trusted his fellow drinkers enough that he didn't sit there tonight. Besides, his werewolf sense would alert him to anyone trying to sneak up on him. It was surprisingly easy to tell when someone had shifted from walking normally to trying to sneak up on you, and Levi had found that he was able to hear the shift at quite a good distance, some days from up to a hundred metres or so.
The man standing in the doorway looked fairly young, and Levi made a mental crack about needing to see his ID. Rugged and good looking, the man was dressed very plainly, much like Levi was. Still, there was something unusual about him. The man had a very dominant stance, and he moved slowly and deliberately, with confidence. To others it might appear that the young man was arrogant, but there were subtle differences to how a human might hold themselves. The thought that the young man was also a werewolf hit Levi at about the same time his scent did, and that well and truly knocked him for six. The scent was definitely that of a werewolf, but it was of a much older werewolf than the young man appear to be. There was something else, too, something domineering. The newcomer's scent seemed to be saying "I am your leader. Come follow me."
Levi's eyes narrowed slightly and he leaned forward, watching the werewolf intently as he made his way over to the bar and order a large Long Island, a very hard alcoholic drink. Downing his own shot of Vodka, Levi watched the newcomer and resisted the urge to go and serve up the wolf's drink himself. Taking a deep breath, Levi brought himself under control and began to assess the situation.
One part of him wanted to fight the new werewolf, while another wanted to submit and follow the lead of the the elder, more powerful werewolf. The human part of Levi, though, didn't want to do either until he'd sussed out the new werewolf. It wasn't that often a new werewolf arrived in these parts, and it was even rarer that the newcomer was an older wolf. Given the dominance that the old wolf radiated, and the fact that Levi had felt the urge to serve him up the drink that he'd ordered, the older wolf had to have been a pack leader or have been high up in some pack's pecking order. Now, there weren't any packs in Jamerson Falls, so why was this wolf here? Either there was going to be a hostile takeover, or the wolf was planning something else, and Levi wanted to know what that was.
The door opened again, and Levi casually looked over at the door, keeping his ears firmly focused on the older werewolf. The picture of loveliness who stood in the doorway was not the pub's usual clientele and Levi wondered if she was lost. Then, along with all the other smells of the city, the woman's scent hit him and his eyes widened for a brief moment. Very few female werewolves existed, and Levi hadn't seen one for more than a year. The poor girl seemed pretty conflicted, though, because she smelled stressed, and she was standing in the doorway, looking like a startled rabbit. The poor thing didn't look like she knew what to do, so Levi grinned and waved to her.
"Welcome to our humble establishment, miss! Why don't you come in and get something to drink?"
Levi's voice was far calmer, but no less cheery, than he actually felt, and he hoped that the woman would come inside for a drink and, in doing so, come and sit with him. Levi still wasn't sure about the other werewolf, and he could tell that the poor woman was conflicted enough as it was without being near a domineering wolf. And besides, she was more than a little good looking...

Regrettably, Vis could not fathom the female's beauty, but from the moment the door opened, he had sensed the girl, and had stilled. it was not quite the stillness that a vampire could achieve, but still it was a quietness that a human could barely fathom. The girl that entered struck her as a pup. Instead of using his dominance like a whip, instead his protective instinct kicked in and his presence shifted from that of a hardened hunter to that of a stalward sentinal. The new scent seeped from him and permeated the room, flowing over the girl and the male as well, now like a comfort blanket rather than a potential weapon. His own wolf came forward as he turned toward the female, sending the well known peculiar prickling sensation, almost as if his wolf's ruff was brushing against the inside of his skin. He allowed that presence push forward until it could be seen in his eyes. His scent should have reached her then, making it as if his own wolf was speaking to hers. " Be calm my kin, nothing can hurt you here while We are around."
It was not speech, nor mental communication, just the general safety that could be found around an Alpha, around people who could be more than friends, more than family, in that which could possibly become pack. It would have worked much better had either of them been pack, or if his pack were present, but of course they had their mission and he had his.
His now golden eyes moved from looking through the girl, then back toward the bar, flashing back to the unsettling grayish blue that was him in full control once again, hoping that little show did not frighten off the pup, and instead her wolf would be soothed and able to sit back, relaxed by his now muted energy.

] Run run run, she thought, all the while her wolf's growling inside her head was starting to drown out everything else. She could feel her fur sliding against her skin, and she stiffened, trying to calm her wolf. She looked at the older man who had called out to her, welcoming her. She smiled apologetically, and knew it would look a little shaky. Arrow's fear of the wolves was lessening, though for some reason the other, younger looking wolf was making her uneasy, she could feel his stillness. She decided to focus on the other wolf for the time being. 'Its okay, we're safe. theres no danger see? He's just saying hi, nothing to growl at' She soothed in her head. She could feel that her wolf had dismissed the older male, feeling he wasn't a threat to her, and was now focused entirely on the younger male. She must look like an idiot just standing in the door way! Arrow forced herself to move, Her muscles had locked in response to her wolf's aggressiveness. She managed to start moving smoothly through the bar when her wolf suddenly stopped growling and she visibly relaxed. She turned her eyes towards the younger wolf, startled by the sudden change in atmosphere and surprised that it came from such a young looking wolf. Her wolf was still a bit wary but no longer wanting to attack. Arrow tilted her head to the side a bit, an almost dog like movement. She wasn't sure what to do, her wolf, who was normally extremely aggressive, had been subdued by this man. what was he? Some new breed of wolf? And what about the older looking wolf? Her eyes flickered from one wolf to the other then back to the bar. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair again, it didn't seem like either of the wolves were going to attack her but what should she do? "I'l have a gin and tonic." She told the bar tender with a smile, she was oddly relaxed for being in the presents of two stronger male weres, she wondered if that was normal or not and shot a suspicious look at the younger male. "So," She started, her voice sounded strong and didn't show a hint of the confusion she was feeling. "Are you the one throwing around that 'trust-me-because-i-say-so' vibe? Because I've sure as hell never felt anything like it" She said, with bravo she didn't feel. It had always been her fall back, if she was unsure of herself always act like she knew what she was doing. She glanced at the other were and smiled, lifting her drink to show him she had gotten a drink like he'd said.

The woman looked at Levi and smiled apologetically. Her body, while locked on the same spot that it had been for more than thirty seconds, was poised for retreat, and Levi was unsure whether the woman would come in and have a drink or run. While it would be a disappointment to miss out on meeting up with a fellow werewolf, Levi wouldn't chase her if she ran, no matter what his instincts said. The male wolf sitting at the bar and emitting the domineering scent was a more pressing issue, and one that Levi hadn't had to deal with before. So far as he knew, no pack had ever started up in Jamerson, and few, if any, Alphas had passed through before.
Levi shot a look over to the other wolf and noticed that the man had relaxed his body language. It was less aggressive and domineering, but definitely not submissive. Oh no, the other wolf was still very much in command, he had just made himself more approachable by the she-wolf. Not surprisingly, Levi was not happy about that, and he could feel his wolf's hackles rising, almost as though they were under his skin. Taking another shot, Levi calmed himself once more and forced the wolf to lower its hackles through sheer force of will. Unfortunately, while he could force the wolf to lower its hackles, he couldn't prevent it from emitting a really aggressive and pissed off scent.
Finally making up her mind, the woman began to walk over to the bar, smoothly but still unsure for the first little bit. Then, out of the blue, she relaxed, causing Levi to wonder what had happened. He surreptitiously sniffed the air and caught a very reassuring scent, presumably coming from the wolf at the bar. This time it was both Levi and not the wolf who raised their hackles, the wolf because it felt threatened by the older wolf's presence, and Levi because he didn't like the way the scent was affecting him. Deep down, buried under his wolf's fear and wariness, the wolf wanted to believe in the welcoming scent, and Levi did not like that one bit. Why should he want to run with the wolf sitting at the bar? He was perfectly happy as he was.
Yet, deep down in both his and the wolf's psyche, there was a longing to belong to a pack or, in Levi's case, a group of like minded individuals. It was instinctive, and had been growing stronger for the last nine years. He'd tried to keep a handle on it, not wanting to see what kind of destruction a group of werewolves could wreak on humanity, as well as themselves, but the presence of this new werewolf had caused it to flare up big time.
The woman sat down next to the other werewolf, ordered a drink and promptly questioned the man's ability to send out such a powerful scent. Appearing disinterested to the rest of the patrons, Levi examined his fingernails for dirt and suppressed a smile. He was sure that the woman was speaking with far more bravado than she felt, but she sounded convincing.
Levi pulled out his pocket knife and started to clear the grit out from under his fingernails. He had to maintain a look of disinterest for the benefit of other patrons who would find his interest in the two young people at the bar a little out of character. Besides, if he did show some interest, it would be harder to keep himself from baring his teeth and growling at the other male wolf. That'd definitely give the game away.

Only the slight increase of the smell of shampoo, soft shifting sound of hair, and unfurling of curiosity tipped Vis off to the female's head tilt. While his 'vision' was great with the subtle emotions, and movements when fighting, it did not catch expressions of the face and eyes, nor tiny shifts in posture. It could be considered a weakness if his nose was not so more sensitive to the subtleties of emotion and shades of truth that some wolves could not pick up on. It was a fact that lying to a were nearly never worked, unless someone had utter belief in that lie, and all weres could pick up on general emotions, but Vis's nose took it to a whole other level.
With the curiosity, came the settling of her beast, like that of a wolf sitting on it's haunches, still prepared for the base fight or flight, but not as worried as before. That was good, he did not know for sure if those out of his pack would react in the same way. He figured that it was because they were strays. Not rogue from what he could tell, just without the support and calm that came with Pack. He felt her move again then, to take a place at the bar, within easy speaking distance.
Visceral's head turned toward the female the moment before she spoke, as it was common courtesy, and a bit of his dominant nature to face those who spoke to him. Of course he had been tipped off to her intent to speak by his ears. A breath to speak was quite different than a subconscious one. It was music that issued from her mouth though, and he reveled in it when she spoke to him instead of the tender. His expression softened a bit more, though his scent did not change much. It had been months since he had been spoken to by a female of their kind. The last female and her family had been sent west months ago toward Arizona. He hadn't even realized how much he had missed hearing a voice that was not edged in testosterone.
He found himself slowly smiling, not because of his will though. It was just a slight tilt to his lips, and it made him look even younger than his apparent youthful age. His head shifted vertically in the slightest of nods."Yes. You were so close to fleeing. That would have been bad. Though, I get the feeling she is not completely dormant. If you were pack she would be... Peacefully sleeping until she is needed." His voice was pitched in a low rumbling, far from a growl, and soft enough so none of the patrons could hear it, but loud enough so that the male's preternatural hearing could still pick up what he said.

The girl glanced at the bar tender and gave him a nod when he put her drink in front of her. She took a quick sip before she turned towards the Were, it was then that she finally noticed that the man was blind. Arrow made a small gasping sound and sat back for a moment. She watched as his expression softened and the corners of his mouth curl up slightly and she found herself smiling in return. She had known something was different about this were, and it wasn't just about his dominance, he seemed more in tune with his surroundings than everyone else, and now she knew why.
Arrow absentmindedly let her fingers circle the rim of her drink as she looked at him. She was also keenly aware of the other Male Were, she knew he was listening in and watching them, she could also smell his changing scent as he reacted to their conversation.
Arrow crossed her legs and shifted in her seat when he spoke. Her wolf was vaguely pleased that she had been spoken of, but Arrow was the one who reacted to his mentioning a pack. "Wait, a pack? Like wolves in the wild have... Those actually exist for us?" She asked, bewildered. She tried to think of what that would be like, being among her own kind. It was such a strange concept to her because she had never even met another one of her kind before today. Excluding, of course, the were who had changed her. Arrow then focused on the last part of what he had said. "Wait, are you saying being in a pack would help me control her?" She said, her voice pitched low. she straightened and took another sip of her drink and started tracing the rim of the glass again as she thought. "you're not just blowing smoke right? You're for real, not just picking on the new girl? Because if this is part of some type of joke I'm not going to be happy." She warned, letting some of her wolf's dominance leak into her voice. Arrow forced herself to hold her body in a relaxed stance even though she was starting to tense. The more she thought about it the harder to believe. There were packs? and being in one helped you control your wolf? What if a pack was like some sort of a cult or something binding that she wouldn't be able to get out of.
Arrow shook her head, her wolf had started to influence her thoughts again, making her doubt herself and panic. She had been reacting to the Older were's scent, even though she knew his aggressive scent wasn't meant for her. Arrow took a deep breath in an effort to calm herself and her wolf. Trying to focus on herself and not her wolf.

Levi folded his pocket knife and contemplated the bottom of his shot glass. It was empty, so he filled it up, swirled the vodka around a little and placed it back down on the table. The conversation, which was now taking place at a level below what humans could hear, had just become interesting. The male wolf had brought up the subject of packs, and the she-wolf seemed to be receptive, if a little wary, to the idea. While the male hadn't outright asked her to join his pack or form one with him, Levi picked up on the subtext pretty easily. The male was recruiting.
Tapping the edge of his shot glass, Levi pondered this new turn of events. He'd suspected that the wolf might have been recruiting or forming his own pack, but he hadn't considered the implications until now. What would happen if a pack was formed in Jamerson Falls? Would it be a "join or die" kind of arrangement, as Levi had heard about other packs, or would membership be voluntary? How would the pack interact with non-members? Hell, how would the pack view humans? If what the wolf was saying about pack members being able to control themselves better was true then, if the werewolves of the area form a pack, that could reduce the danger to humans. On the other hand, a xenophobic or violent pack could cause a lot of damage.
The more he thought about it, the more it seemed as though Levi needed to have a chat with the newcomer to suss things out. If the wolf was mostly a good egg, then Levi had no problems with a pack forming and he might even decide to join it. However, if the wolf seemed too egotistical, violent or militant, then Levi would need to prevent him from forming a pack. It wasn't just protecting the humans, either. A militant or overly aggressive Alpha could do irreparable damage to human-werewolf relations, such as they were or could be, and could potentially open hunting season on one of the Earth's most dangerous predators.
Sipping from his glass this time, Levi listened intently to the ongoing conversation, even if it didn't look like it.

She was a curious one this pup. Obviously she was a result of a rogue attack. and it make his hackles rise just a bit. It was the protective instinct that came to the for, a base longing to destroy one that would make an unwilling human into a wolf. The punishment for breaking rule number one was death. not the clean death of injection or hanging, nor even as clean as beheading. Nothing so clean as that awaited a rogue, if he were doing that within a pack's territory. It called for a hunt, evisceration, removal of the head, heart and all flesh. There were few excuses to make an unwilling wolf, and he was already sure that the one that turned her couldn't use any of them. It was her lack of training, and knowledge of their kind that gave him that line of thinking and he knew it was correct.
He pacified his wolf with promises of that particular hunt being held at a future time. Now wasn't the time to get riled and scare the young one off. Instead he answered the five questions with one word. It was a word filled with power, and if she knew how to listen and smell for it, utter truth. "Yes." He let the word sink in before he continued, expanding on that single word with more that would even ring true in a wolf's ears."Yes, us wolves have packs. Yes, just like our wild kin. Yes, With the right Alpha, paks mean control, and power. Yes, I am not blowing smoke. Yes I am for real. And yes, I know you would be not be.. .Happy."
Vis said all but the last with a slight chuckle in his voice, his attention fixed directly upon the girl. Lowering one's gaze usually meant that one seceded dominance to the other wolf, but with him, it was when his full attention was on someone that it felt like wolfish eyes boring through someone's being. The last though was said without joking, and a tone of dismissal, as if it really wouldn't matter if she were to attack him if he were actually nipping her tail. And in actuality, it probably wouldn't his experience as a wolf topped hers by nearly half a century, and battles of dominance occurred very often in the Naskapi Wolves. It would not be uncommon to have a fight every season if not two, and that was just for the Alpha position. It did let off after him being the lead for twenty years though, since he then had much more experience, and they had come to trust his decisions.
With a sigh he said in a very soft and reassuring tone that, like all his other words dripped with truth. "Being a wolf is not all rage and loneliness." While that was true for all the wolves that had followed him, he had experienced much loneliness. The Napaski Wolves had followed him true, but still none of them would become his mate because of his 'disability'. Up until recently it hadn't mattered, even though not having one did cripple the pack a little. The alpha's mate lent to pack stability and peace throughout the pack. Of course he kept that side of his thoughts bottled up as best as he could.
If he could have turned his attention to the wolf behind them he would, then flick his attention to the door, as a subtle signal that this was not the best place to discuss all of this, but right now he had to assert his own dominance to this female, had to have her lower her attention from him if only for a moment. He could not create a pack here if they would not follow, but he already knew that his dominance was more than almost any lone wolf, especially one as young as she was.He knew that she was untrained though, and hopefully her woulf would understand what was to be done for someone who was more dominant.

OOC: I tried to get her to ask if they could leave, but Arrow wouldn't let me, she doesn't trust to easily. xD
Arrow bit her lip as he spoke, she could hear the truth to his words but how was she to know if that wasn't some were trick she wasn't aware of? She was taught to always be on her toes and spent her life trying to guess others true intentions, it was hard to break the habit, even more so because it had always protected and helped her in the past.
Arrow heard the change in his voice and her wolf stiffened in defense. A low growl escaped her lips before Arrow snapped her mouth shut, her teeth clicking loudly. She could feel her wolf inside her, like it was prowling back and forth, like a caged animal eagerly awaiting for a chance to escape. Though along with that anger there was a grudging approval of Vis's methods and way of asserting himself. Her eyes locked on him and she could feel his wolf's gaze on her. She stood like that for quite a while and oddly enough she could feel herself participating, like it wasn't just her wolf fighting to show dominance, but it was her human half as well. She knew she couldn't win a true fight with this wolf but she didn't want to be looked upon as a weakling either. Her sapphire colored eyes flashed dangerously before her wolf finally backed down and she looked away.
She let out a sigh and turned so that her back was to the bar. She made eye contact with the other Were then glanced at Vis. "So is he one of yours? He's been just sitting there listening in on our conversation the entire time." She asked him softly.

Well, Levi was now 100%, as opposed to 99% sure that the male werewolf was trying to recruit the female. He'd probably have tried to make Levi come over to him if she hadn't turned up, a struggle for dominance that could have continued for some days before Levi's need to know about the other male's plans forced him to bow out of the struggle and approach. The arrival of the woman was a complication that Levi knew would force his hand. He couldn't afford to play the game with the male were and risk the woman, who seemed very vulnerable and unstable, falling in with a pack that could harm all the werewolves in the area.
The problem was that, as a regular and well known patron at the pub, Levi couldn't go up to either of them and start discussing things. Doing so would be out of character and cause tongues to wag. Levi didn't exactly mind being the target of gossip, but he did mind putting himself in a situation where his secret could be revealed.
Looking over at the two, Levi noticed that they were in a battle of dominance, staring at each other. The older, male wolf looked like his gaze was lower than the woman's, and the wolf inside Levi seemed to agree. The body language of the man was still dominant, though, and his scent reeked of it. Levi stiffled a growl of his own and finished off his shot while he waited for the battle to finish.
It was a relatively quick struggle, and there wasn't any growling or attempts at intimidation, and the older wolf won, as could be expected. The woman let out a sigh and turned away from the man, making eye contact with Levi. He nodded and poured out another shot. The woman glanced back at the older wolf and asked about Levi.
"So is he one of yours? He's been just sitting there listening in on our conversation the entire time."
The thought struck Levi that here he had the perfect opportunity to find a way to assert his own dominance over the older wolf and ask a few questions at the same time. It was a little risky, since the older wolf could refuse to play along and force the woman to go along with him, but then Levi hadn't entirely planned on playing by the rules he was going to establish.
Faking a yawn, Levi hid his mouth behind his hand and spoke lowly and quickly, so that the other two werewolves would be the only ones to hear him.
"Nope. Meet me outside in two minutes. Act like he's propositioned you."
Yawning again and rubbing his eyes, Levi checked his watch and did a double take., as though he hadn't realised how late it was. He shook his head, downed his shot and then yawned one final time. Standing with the help of the bottle, Levi walked slowly over the bar, a move that humans would see as a result of fatigue and werewolves as a display of dominance, and placed the three quarters full bottle on the counter.
"Well, Dave, I think I'll be off. Put the bottle on my tab, will you?"
Dave, the bartender, nodded and picked up the bottle, screwed the lid back on and placed it under the counter for Levi's next drinking session. Levi, for his part, nodded at Dave and the other regulars, and then left, shutting his ears to anything the other weres said.
Once outside, Levi used a wetted finger to find out where the wind was coming from, and then he casually sauntered downwind, taking refuge in a deep doorway that would hide him from view when, and if, the other wolves exited the bar. From here he could hear and smell them, while they could only hear him if they were lucky, since Levi had long ago worked out how to make himself all but inaudible to his ears. It involved a lot of muscle control and being able to hold his breath for over three minutes.
Now he just had to wait and see what happened.

Vis shook his head slightly in response to the girl's question. and heard movement behind them. He stiffened ever so slightly as his nose brought the blue and red scent of the male to his attention. Vis was completely still when the male came up and confirmed the shake of his head. He listened and debated whether to do as... Suggested
[/b]... and thought that if it would get him out of the possible hearing of the humans, and alone with the two strays, then it would be advice well taken. Then he grumbled in a tone that was would probably not even be heard by the receeding male. "Not yet at least."Visceral fished in his pocket for a moment after the other were had finally come to them. The thing about money. Every bill smelled different, being touched by dozens, hundreds if not thousands people. Will all that, there was absolutely no way to tell between them by smell. With so many smells to them, they were all a dull greenish black color. So, instead of using smell he, probably like every other blind person in the continental US had his bills folded each in a particular way. Once he had felt out the oddly folded ten, he put it under his untouched glass of long island iced tea and stood. Holding out his hand to the girl he beamed a smile down to her, positioned his hand a foot from her, in the direction of the massed aura of her scent, palm up. He debated saying "Come with me if you wish to live" but instantly rejected it. Instead he said in a soft and soothing tone "Lets get out of here, so we can..Get to know eachother better..." The sentance was heavily laden with falce innuendo, playing the part suggested to him. He just hoped the female would play her role as well.[/justify][/blockquote] (sorry it's so short after so long, just thought I should hurry and get the ball rolling again)

JUST STAND THROUGH THE PAIN AND YOU WON"T DROWN. Alone in this fight with herself and her fears whispering if she stands she'll fall down.
Arrow's eyes followed the other were as he approached the bar. Her wolf growled lowly in her head but Arrow did nothing. She raised her eye brow at him before he turned away. Pretend he propositioned you? Couldn't we just have easily walked out the door alone, or had a mock fight? She muttered a curse under her breath as her eyes scanned the bar. The two of them had already attracted a few eyes, what with two male weres testing each others dominance and one highly strung female added to the mix. Though the humans couldn't know what was going on, she knew they could feel something different in the air. She'd have to make this believable for the spectators in the bar. She had also noticed a few men close to her own age had been eyeing her and Vis to gage her availability. She didn't want to risk the chance of them following her out.
The girl placed her cash on the bar and smiled at the Bartender before giving Vis her full attention. She knew he wouldn't be able to see some of the things she was doing but hoped he'd appreciate her effort all the same. The show was for the on lookers anyway. Arrow lowered her eyes and let a smile slowly lift her lips. with her eyes half lidded she pressed close and leaned even closer until her mouth was inches away from touching his ear, a smile continuing to pull at her lips. "So your recruiting huh? I've never been in a pack before, might be interesting." To anyone watching it might look like she was a lover, whispering any manner of sexual intimacies in his ear. She licked her lips and placed her hand in his and kept herself close to him, as they walked to the door. Though once the door was closed she quickly extracted herself and put her hands on her hips, her eyes scanning the darkness as she spoke. "and then there were three, though there really is no need to hide." She glanced at Vis and sighed "twenty bucks says he's within hearing range waiting for one of us to make the first move." She told him just loud enough for Levi to hear. She was a little bit more relaxed now that they weren't in an inclosed space.
